Offensive OU Team

Hey this is my first RMT.
I'm new to the forum but not to smogon or shoddy.
This team is the one i've hit 1300 with and i've been having some trouble now, I'm willing to make any changes.

Metagross @ Occa Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/236 Atk/12 Def/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
- Explosion
Metagross is my lead of course. This guy is amazing, almost always getting Stealth Rocks up and dealing heavy damage at the same time. Meteor Mash is his best stab attack and can let me sweep early given enough attack boosts. Bullet Punch is for cleaning up things at low hp without taking any damage. I run explosion over earthquake because it lets me take out a variety of threats to my team immediately such as swampert. Explosion from Gross will take out any pretty much anything not named skarmory.

Gyarados-1.png

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
My Sweeper of choice. Standard DDGyara, capable of wrecking a entire team with just 1 DD under it's belt. Currently the 3 attacks i have are great coverage barring other gyara, ice fang takes out celebi or any other grass types trying to ruin Gyara's sweep. Lately though i've been running into other gyara so stone edge might be the permanent replacement soon.

Tyranitar @ Babiri Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Aqua Tail
- Dragon Dance
Man i love DDtar. I used to think it sucked because of things like Scizor but i just didn't know how to use it. Aqua Tail is my preferred choice since fire punch would only be for scizor and +1 stone edge almost always takes it out and i usually have a +2 Dd under my belt with this thing anyway. Aqua tail lets me hit opposing Ttars, hippodown or any other ground/rock types trying to wall me or take me out with EQ. Ttar also has decent synergy with gyara resisting or being neutral to each others super effective weaknesses.
---------------------------------------------------
Gengar_by_Iridestris.png

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt/Energy Ball
- Focus Blast
- Substitute
Gengar fills kind of a weird slot of my team. He covers my EQ weakness and is my only special sweeper. He's capable of ripping through a unprepared team with a sub up though and i like using him alot. I run Tbolt over Pain split since it's better coverage and pain split just usually gets me killed next turn since the opponent breaks my sub and brings in something like scizor. Energy ball will probably be ran soon though because of my swampert problems. This is probably the most replaceable member of my team.

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
- Thunderpunch
Scarf Rachi is an amazing pokemon. Able to take out things like DDmence and gyara after +1 who would otherwise sweep my team. It has great coverage with each elemental punch + iron head for stab and abuse of serene grace. I don't know where i'd be without this thing to clean up so many things that would otherwise cause problems.
Heatran_Shadowman_by_Lagr.jpg

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Dragon Pulse
ScarfTran is my 2nd revenge killer taking on certain things rachi can't or just taking rachi/Metagross's fire weakness and abusing it. Dragon pulse is a nasty surprise for things like mence which most don't switch out of my tran for. Fire Blast over Flamethrower because the raw power makes up for the accuracy plently. Earth Power is the other obvious move hitting many pokes for super effective. I could run hp electric over explosion for those pesky gyara who try to set up on me but i'm usually locked into something like fire blast or earth power anyway. Explosion does decent damage and puts a dent in most things but i haven't 1hkoed much with it.

how would you deal with a curselax CB scizor combo. most of your team seems to fall to one of them except gengar (gyra will fall after 2 hits from bullet punch)

I've never had a single problem with curse lax, i usually use him as set up fodder honestly or just kill him with Gengar. I switch in Gyara on CB scizor as another set up fodder too. /: Can't do much at all to me after a Intimidate. Scizor's BP does 30% more or less to gyara after a intimidate usually.

I'm just going to point out some things on your sets. First, if your going with Occa Berry on Gross you usually want to have EQuake since all you really manage to do against guys like tran is set up sr. Then again, most carry shuca so I would just go with lum berry to stop stuff like roserade from setting up which does benefit your Ttar.

Gyarados generally wants Stone Edge, mainly to deal with other Gyarados so I would stick with that. I never found EQuake to be too useful and have found Bounce to be useful though because your using life orb it could backfire when you factor in ss and sr.

Scarfrachi generally wants maximum speed so take some EVs out of HP. This is mainly so it can speed tie with a positive speed nature +1 Salamence at worst. Also, I would suggest going with Trick over Fire Punch to help out with stall and guys like Crocune. Then again, this does limit what you can do to Luke.

I really think you should replace Heatran since right now you have 4 ground weaknesses. Personally, I would go with Latias to help out with some typing issues. I would personally go with Specs Latias, to give your team some more immediate power. You could also try and test out a LO 3 attacks set.

I'll probably switch it over to stone edge and i'll fix the Evs. I'm keeping Fire punch though, i never have much of a use for trick.

Occa berry is for things like infernape who could outspeed and 1 hit ko me and not get my rocks up. I rarely see tran leads and i just BP roserade if the sleep powder misses i ko if not i go out to a different poke and kill it.

I'll try out Latias and see how it goes. Tran has done well for me though.

and yeah Bounce on LO Gyara doesn't really work. I'll be keeping EQ.

One thing i'm noticing on this team, is its going to be worn out by stall, no problem. With the presence of Stealth rock, and no taunt on Gyarados, whats going to stop a very common Pokemon like Swampert from wearing out this team with Roar/Eq, every time?

If you chose Gengar specifically to provide another ground Immunity (on a team with 4 weak) I recomened something that can provide a little more bulk, to assist that offensive minded Gyarados-who cant do it along.

Rotom-A, Latias fit the bill nicely.
