Offensive RMT

Hello there Smogon. This is my first post and first time posting an RMT anywhere for awhile. This team is offensive only has one "Wall" or Support poke and I need some help to get this thing going more smoothly than it has.

Scizor.png

Scizor@Choice Band
Adamant Nature [+Attack, -Sp.Atk]
Ev's: 252 Attack/ 252 Speed/6 Hp
Technician Ability
~Pursuit
~Super Power
~U-Turn
~Bullet Punch
Ok so the one thing I get out of Scizor being my lead is to pack some damage on things like Bronzong, Aerodactyl, and other standard leads. With this thing I can clearly scout so I can bring in appropriate counters ext. This thing also gets rid of Cress and Blissey who can cause some problams to this team.

Heatan.png

Heatran@Choice Scarf
Mild Nature [+Sp.Atk, -Defense]
Ev's: 252 Speed/ 252 Special Attack/ 6 Hp
Flash Fire Ability
~Hidden Power [Ice]
~Earth Power
~Fire Blast
~Explosion
This thing is mainly in this team to support weaknesses. Supports Mamo, Scizor, Salamence, and Zapdos respectivly. I know it can only take so many hits but when I feel I need to go out I will just explode away.

mamoswine-f.png

Mamoswine@Life Orb
Adamant Nature [+Attack, -Sp.Atk]
Ev's: 64 Hp/ 252 Attack/ 192 Speed
Snow Cloak Ability
~Ice Shard
~Stealth Rock
~Earth Quake
~Stone Edge
So Mamoswine has always been great in my opinion. Solves a good amount of DD Mence. This thing also has the ability to set up rocks when the switch is obviously and once that is done it can knock out some mons.

salamence.png

Salamence@Yache Berry
Adamant Nature [+Attack, -Sp.Atk]
Ev's: 252 Attack/ 252 Speed/ 6 Hp
Intimidate Ability
~Dragon Dance
~Stone Edge
~Outrage
~Earth Quake
Well this thing is pretty standard and obvious. I chose earthquake over crunch and fire fang because outrage will do enough damage to ghosts and I don't want heatran coming and trying to kill my sweep. If something is prefered over it please tell me ^__^

Zapdos.gif

Zapdos@Leftovers
Timid Nature [+Speed, -Attack]
Ev's: 100 Hp/ 150 Speed/ 252 Special Attack
Pressure Ability
~Thunder Bolt
~Heat Wave
~Hidden Power [Ice]/ Grass
~Roost
Zapdos has some major potential in the current Metagame. Once I get Blissey and Cress out of the picture this thing can do some serious damage. With the Ev spread givin zapdos gets 300 Speed which allows him to outrun most Salamence. With the HP ev's Zapdos can take some hits and return the favor.

poke134_3.png

Vaporeon@Leftovers
Bold Nature [+Defense, -Attack]
Ev's: 188 Hp/ 252 Defense/ 68 Special Attack
Water Absorb Ability
~Surf
~Hidden Power [Electric]
~Wish
~Protect
My favorite wisher in the game. Anyways this thing knocks off Gyarados and Heatran that even try to do anything and supports the team very well.

Anyways that is the team. The one thing I have had a big problam with is not having a spinner in there so if anyone can suggest a good one that would fit just shoot away. Anyways RMT!

I like to point out it's earthquake, not "Earth Quake"

Try and explain your strategy of the team. All I've seen lately is teams made up of the game big threats with no real explaining. It's a good team, but how do you plan to use it.

The main goal of the team I guess is that walls get taken out quickly and then sweep because it is an offensive team which is what most of them do.

Pursuit > X-Sissor on Choice Band Scizor, ESPECIALLY as a lead. Using Pursuit instead allows Scizor to come in on Psychics/Ghost and Pursuit them using Choice Band's power increase to KO them.

On Zapdos: Keep in mind that Hidden Power - Ground is also a good option to take things like Hetran out too if need be, just something to think about.

Put the 4 HP EVs on Heatran into Atk :pimp:

Ok cool. I was thinking about pursuit but I was not sure anyways I will change it up.

Hey there.

Your team looks pretty overall, but I have a few nitpicks with a couple of specific pokemon.

Firstly, the extra 4 EVs on Scizor I would put into Speed, not HP. This lets you outspeed other base 65 Spe pokemon such as Vaporeon, and the 1 extra HP point won't help you anyway.

Heatran I would change to a +Spe nature, preferably Naive. Since it is your only Steel type, you will need it to be able to come in on Outrages and take less from Extremespeed, so it is better than Hasty in this instance. +Spe nature allows you to outspeed Shaymin-S and tie with the majority of other ScarfTrans, which imo is preferable to the slight drop in power from Mild > Naive. I know you have Mamoswine to revenge kill both Skymin and Salamence, but it is still a precaution worth taking. Also, like Matt said, put the last 4 EVs into Atk.

I strongly recommend changing Salamence's Yache Berry to a Life Orb. Since you have no way to get rid of Stealth Rock, Salamence will almost always be at 75% health when it switches in. When things like Vaporeon's Ice Beam are doing upto 68% and Life Orb Mamoswine's Ice Shard does 67-80% damage to you anyway, Yache Berry really isn't a worthwile investment. Life Orb's increase in power will be significantly noticeable. Also, this allows you to run Fire Blast with the Life Orb boost over Stone Edge to do significantly more damage to things like Skarmory and Bronzong. Put the last 4 EVs into SpA.

I would give Zapdos 176 Spe EVs to pump its speed stat up to 308, allowing it to outrun Jolly Lucario and Electivire, who could otherwise cause it problems with Ice Punch / Stone Edge. Also, definitely run HP Grass over HP Ice on Zapdos, as you already have Ice Shard on Mamo and HP Ice on Heatran.

Good luck with your team,

LR.

Well I put 252 Speed into scizor so I don't know what you are talking about on him. Also I will try out what you said on Zapdos and Heatran thanks.
