Offensive Sandstorm team

So i decided to make a new team. Not really knowing where to start, i decided that the first pokemon i put on the team would be Tyranitar because he has nice stats all around (excluding speed), and hes my favorite pokemon :)

After that i immediately thought: Gengar. Tyranitar and Gengar have great synergy together, resisting each others weaknesses and I thought it would make a good revenge killer on my team.

I saw that they both shared a weakness to steel types, so I slapped on Magnezone.

Lucario's a good lategame sweeper, especially on a sandstorm team so i thought he'd be perfect for my team.

Tyranitar@Choice Band
Evs: 252 HP/ 40 Atk/ 218 SDef
Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
Crunch
Pursuit
Stone Edge
Earthquake

An ok lead i guess. It can take special moves pretty well. Been considering changing its nature to Careful (+SDef, - SAtk) so it could be more bulkier since my team lacks a special wall. Also thinking about switching Earthquake for Aqua Tail. I use Crunch as my main STAB attack mainly because of Stone Edges accuracy.

Gengar@Choice Scarf
Evs: 6 HP/ 252 SAtk/ 252 Spd
Timid (+SAtk, -Atk)
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt
Trick

Not so sure about having Thunderbolt on Gengar since I already have Magnezone, but its helped me get an easy KO on gyarados. i might just switch Thunderbolt for Hidden Power [Fire] and just take off Magnezone Completely.

Magnezone@Leftovers
Evs: 6HP/ 252 SAtk/ 252 Spd
Timid (+SAtk, -Atk)
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power [Fire]
Subsitute
Magnet Rise

I try to get a sub up when i see the opertunity. the evs are so it can outspeed scizor and other steels.

Swampert@Leftovers
Evs: 252 HP/ 60 SAtk/ 198 Def
Relaxed (+Def, -Spd)
Earthquake
Ice beam
Stealth Rocks

deals with sub users and dragons pretty well, can take physical hits blah blah blah...

453.png

Lucario@Life Orb
Evs: 252 Atk/ 6 Def/ 252 Spd
Jolly (+Spd, -SAtk)
Close Combat
Extreme Speed
Stone Edge
Swords Dance

not much to say

Salamence@Choice Specs
Evs: 252 SAtk/ 6 def/ 252 spd
modest (+satk, -atk)
draco meteor
dragon pulse
flamethrower
hydro pump

a friend suggested i put this on the team. teamed with magnezone, i THINK it resists all 27 types, im too lazy to go check.

well sorry i made this rmt so sloppy, its really late and i need to go to bed >_>
welllll anyway this team lacks taunt with could benifit me a lot.
i already tested this team on smogon and it gets me just as much wins as it does losses. im not satisfied with this team at all so feel free to point out weaknesses and make suggestions.

Please expand your descriptions as they're definitely not up to rule 3:

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Take a look at the RMT archive to see what kind of descriptions we are looking for. PM me the fixed descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
