Bronzong @ Lum Berry
Levitate ~ Sassy
252 HP/128 Atk/4 Spd/124 SDef
- Earthquake (explosion)
- Gyro Ball
- Hypnosis
- Stealth Rock
Terrific lead. Plain and simple. Start off with sleep then set up the rocks, everyone knows it, everyone can see it coming. The only time I don't get my desired result is when I get an unlucky miss with hypnosis while the opponent hits me with sleep or something next turn. Explosion proves more useful on this team than EQ.

Lucario @ Choice Band
Inner Focus ~ Adamant
252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
- Bullet Punch
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Crunch
I originally had Heracross in this spot, then switched to Metagross, then landed on Lucario for the job and it's been the best at doing what I want to do so far. Close combat coupled with rocks (assuming I set them up 9/10 times) 2HKO's enough walls that think they can block my swords dance. Crunch gets coverage on Cress, bullet punch for Gars and Azelfs...stone edge for a filler.

Salamence @ Leftovers
Intimidate ~ Relaxed
224 HP/196 Def/88 SAtk
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
Defense-mence. I feel almost ashamed for using such a great threat like this, but being able to stop fighting threats while holding key special resistances is too good to pass up. Throw intimidate and roost in there and you've got a hell of a tank. Even without any attack EV's eq still destroys Heatran and Lucario. Draco meteor really doesn't even need the EV's in order to still dent physical counters. Fire blast is a 2HKO on Skarm. Lack of a spinner kinda hinders this set a little but isn't anything to make drastic changes over.

dpmba248.png

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Sand Stream ~ Hasty
72 Atk/248 Spd/190 SAtk
- Crunch
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Earthquake
On paper, this seems like a major novelty. In action, it's the most effective mixed wall-breaker while free of paralysis. No one takes it seriously until it goes to work. The spread allows it to out speed all base 115's at their max. OHKO's Infernape and Lucario with EQ. 2HKO's Starmie while surviving a surf...ect...This set takes care of all hindrances that out speed and stop a Chomp sweep (exepct Weavile and Mamoswine but their usage has been down as well as me having out counters). Most importantly, this spread allows a OHKO with crunch on the common CBdugtrio, a huge :D

dpmba094.png

Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Levitate ~ Timid (modest)
4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
Two scarfers, yea. This one takes out whatever scarftar couldn't outspeed. Modest because I'm not a speed freak, I'm a power freak...basic scarfer.

dpmba445.png

Garchomp @ Salac Berry
Sand Veil ~ Jolly/Adamant (undecided)
252 Atk/252 Spd/4 SDef
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
- Outrage/Dragon Claw (depends on the nature i guess)
Not as powerful as yachechomp, but a lot more frustrating to play. The rest of my team just clears out room so that this guy can find a spot to snuggle in and hide behind a sub. Really isn't as effective the other SDchomp variants, but it causes people to lose more hope than after they let Gyara get 2 DD's.

Well, I guess; It's a good team overall.

There are somethings I would change however.

Bronzong: Fine, I personally put EQ over Explosion, if you feel it is unecessary; your choice.

Lucario: I wouldn't Choice Band him; Personally I would use Life Orb and make him a Sword Dancer. Bullet Punch over Extreme Speed???

Salamence: Well if you keep him defensive, why don't you just use HP Ground? I didn't do the damage calculator, just an idea.

Tyranitar: Me gusta. I like the scarf on him, however, not a big fan of the mixed TTar. I would personally just go physical with him.

Gengar: Once again, I would use a Life Orbed Timid Gengar, as seeing how much sucess it produces.

Garchomp: With Gengar being Orbed, make him Scarfed. My favorite item for a Garchomp is defeinatly the Choice Scarf, seeing as the Adamant version hits 454 Speed. If he is scarfed, make his move set look like;

~ Outrage
~ Earthquake
~ Stone Edge
~ Fire Fang / Flamethrower / Fire Blast (Last two assuming you use a Naughty / Lonely Nature)

I don't think there is much help you can give to a ladder team that cracks 1600, but I will give it a shot. You cover resistances well and have key resistances to fighting/rock/bug/ground/dark to stop CB Tar/Heracross/etc from wrecking someone in your team. You have a big reliance on Bronzong to cover A LOT of threats and if he goes down you try to cover yourself with ScarfTar and ScarfGar. It isn't the greatest setup in the world but apparently it's been working as it just lies in your ability to swap or outplay opponents to stay a step ahead.

Offensive teams work with the ability of the player to keep the pressure up on the opponent and always remain a switch ahead of them to keep your advantage. You must do it pretty well, I don't have much comments to make other than the questionable reliance on ScarfTar/ScarfGar to save yourself from lots of threats. But hell, if you switch smart and stay ahead of your opponent then who am I to question the shaky reliance on 2 Scarfed Pokemon?

Yeah... With Bronzong down, you have some Weavile and Heracross weaknesses for sure. If you're gonna keep this team mostly intact, get wish support for Bronzong and no Explosion.

Dragonite can pull off the defensive Dragon role a lot better than Salamence, imo.

Tyranitar can have Dragon Dance. Why give it Choice Scarf? Not like you're missing out on a Choice Scarf user if you make the change to Dragon Dance. (Gengar can keep the Scarf I guess.)

I played this team 2 times. Both which I lost 1-0, and both which I lost to that SDSalac Chomp XD. This is HECTOR btw.

Anyways I do think your Bronzong would like Earthquake over Explosion just because Mamoswine is a big threat to the rest of the team as well as Deoxys-e. So I think you should give it EQ to give it some survivability.

The MixScarfTar set is really sweet *steals*

Everything else on your team looks very sweet, just a slight Mixape problem, which you handle with Revenge killing.

Looks good. On Lucario, I'd consider Inner Focus over Steadfast - Steadfast loses a lot of it's value on Choice users since you're locked into one move after getting the speed boost. I don't know if you get a lot of use out of Stone Edge either, but Extremespeed would also make a useful filler option since it gives you a more powerful priority option against DDers not named Tyranitar. Speaking of Tyranitar, that Scarf set actually does look good (I'd been trying to think of a good 4-move combination for a Scarf set, but none had come up). The surprise element definitely can make it worth it.

The one real thing I see as a prominent threat is Deoxys-S - after Bronzong explodes on whatever, Ice Beam/Superpower/Psychic/whatever can most likely OHKO your whole team (not all at once, since it won't OHKO Lucario after one attack drop from Superpower/Intimidate), but I'm having a hard time thinking of a good solution. Making Gengar Timid would be helpful as most Deoxys aren't running full speed, and Shadow Ball + ES/BP would definitely be enough to finish it off. Alternately, you could try running some sp def and Jolly on Garchomp to survive an Ice Beam and get the Salac boost. Deoxys-S isn't all that common, though, so I'd stick with changing Gengar's nature if you're going to make any change. As I said before, good team.

For a short simple easy fix, you can run Jirachi over Bronzong, and now slap Hypnosis onto Gengar as your sleeper. Jirachi can repeatedly take Deoxys hits and Wish itself and the rest of the team back. If you use Thunderbolt on Gengar, you can slap it on Jirachi, as most Gyarados nowadays aren't running Earthquake as it rather use IF/SE/WF/DD anyways.

thanks for the input guys, i'll definitely change lucario's ability and gengar's nature...the reason i like to explode with bronzong is so that im not entirely defenseless against magnezones ect. where i'd rather just sacrifice zong instead of zong and lucario for the close combat, but if EQ would suit better i'll change that

the reason i kept EQ on salamence is so that i wouldn't be screwed on weaker opponents if i ended up using draco meteor before hand

i wanted lucario banded because he's not the one doing the sweeping, and he gets walled by stuff i want to switch in scarftar to ensure the kill on...like gliscor and stuff

i was thinking jirachi, but like being able to set up sleep and rocks on the same poke...i'll look into him
