Introduction
Hello! I have been working on a team for ORAS OU and thought I'd see if I could get some advice/suggestions on how to perfect it. This is one of the first teams I've made since I'm relatively new to competitive, so apologies in advance if it's sub-par.
The Team

Lopunny (F) @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- High Jump Kick
- Fake Out
- Ice Punch
My mega of choice for this team. Lopunny is a great revenge killer because of its massive speed stat plus access to STAB Fake Out. Helps with threats like Garchomp, Landorus-T, and Dragonite, and is great for knocking out pesky Weaviles.

Tornadus-Therian @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 96 HP / 160 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
Tornadus is my main utility, and is arguably one of the best pokemon in OU right now. With access to great moves like U-Turn and Knock Off, plus a powerful STAB move in Hurricane, Tornadus is a forced to be reckoned with. U-Turn OHKOs Hoopa-U which is becoming more and more common in OU, along with Knock Off which does around 75% to Gengar. Focus Blast can be used over Heat Wave, but I prefer the latter.

Garchomp (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 162 Def / 96 Spe
Impish Nature
- Dragon Tail
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic
The infamous Tankchomp. A great switch-in to a huge amount of physical threats in the tier, he was a must on this team. Anyone who dares to try and U-Turn takes a massive 22%, along with his Ground typing allows him to soak up Volt Switches and slow down the enemy. Also serves as my main hazard setter and helps stop the enemy from setting up with STAB Dragon Tail. I prefer Toxic over Fire Blast since Scizor and Ferrothorn aren't huge threats to my team, and Rocky Helmet + Rough Skin + Toxic adds up quicker than you'd think.

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Wave
- Shadow Ball
Gengar serves as this team's much needed stallbreaker. Clefable always seems to be a big problem for me, and Gengar stops it dead in its tracks. Not many things can safely switch in to Gengar without losing a good amount of HP. Also helps to deal with 349 speed Latios as well, which is one of the more common Latios sets I've been encountering.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split
I decide to replace Latias with Rotom-W. My team was having a good amount of problems with bird spam, plus adding Rotom-W to my team gives me a way to cripple physical attackers that my Garchomp has trouble with. Volt Switch for momentum, Hydro Pump for damage, and Pain Split for (not so reliable) recovery.

Klefki @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave
- Magnet Rise
- Play Rough
Klefki replaces Ferrothorn on this team for the main reason that Weavile could freely come in without a problem and deal huge amounts of damage. Klefki helps prevent that, while being able to set up hazards and cripple fast sweepers with Thunder Wave. Magnet Rise is always helpful since almost every team has either Landorus or Garchomp. Foul Play can be used in place of Play Rough but since Weavile is one of the main threats to my team, I'm keeping the latter.
Threats

Manectric/Raikou/Jolteon
Mega Manectric outspeeds my whole team par Lopunny, and once Rotom-W is gone it becomes very difficult. Not much on my team can take it out before getting 2HKO'd. Raikou isn't as fast but is still annoying, and Jolteon, while uncommon, can be a threat, especially with Specs.

Weavile
Life Orb Weavile is a monster. Before I added Klefki, I had nothing that could switch in without taking massive amounts of damage, but once Klefki dies its only a matter of time before Weavile can come in and sweep. Lopunny was a good check, but I need a counter.
Conclusion
Thanks for taking the time to check out my team, and I hope you guys can give me some good tips on how to round it out. Hoping to make more teams in the future, so until next time.
