dpmba437.png
Bronzong @ Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Brave
EVs: 252 HP/ 152 Atk/ 8 Def/ 96 SpDef/ [1 Spd IV]
- Stealth Rock
- Hypnosis
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion

Comments: Bronzong is the battle opener, sets up Stealth Rocks and puts pokemon i can find annoying to sleep. Gyro Ball gets STAB and an extra boost from its Brave nature, and Explosion is for when Bronzng has done its job. The 1 Spd IV is to ensure i outspeed other Bronzongs and put them to sleep.

dpmba445.png

Garchomp @ Yache Berry
Ability: Sand Veil
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 4 SpDef/
- Swords Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang

Comments: SwordsYache Garchomp, everyone hates facing this, including me but this Garchomp is a beast. Im usually careful when using Swords Dance as i dont like to set up to early only to then run into something scarfed and having to switch. No more explination needed.

dpmba130.png

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 24 HP/ 252 Atk/ 232 Spd/
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang

Comments: Bulky Gyarados, Thunder-Wave over Taunt as i enjoy the support paralysis gives my team, and never find myself using Taunt as an experienced player knows its coming. Stone Edge and Waterfall gives me a lot of coverage. Dragon Dance is used the same as Swords Dance on Garhomp... carefully xD... And i despise the fact that its outsped by Breloom.

dpmba462.png

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
Nature: Modest
EVs: 172 HP/ 84 Spd/ 252 SpAtk/
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Explosion

Comments: With the increased useage of Bronzong, Forretress, Skarmorys and the like, using Magnezone has looked more promising. In the time i was testing this team i dont recall ever using Magnet Rise, so i replaced it with Explosion. Substitute is for scouting aswel as protecting myself from status etc, and is nice to pull one up on the opponents switch. This hates the increase of Dugtrios.

dpmba392.png

Infernape @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
Nature: Naive
EVs: 24 Atk/ 232 Spd/ 252 SpAtk/
- Close Combat
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Comments: It still surprises me to see how many teams are weak to Infernape, in testing i used to use Fire Blast over Flamethrower but found myself disliking the accuracy change i was used to. Nasty Plot or Hidden Power [Ice] is something thats troubling me, Nasty Plot is awesome but its hard to overlook the extra coverage that HP [Ice] would give me. Then i wouldnt be walled by Salamence, Gliscor and the like.

dpmba251.png

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/ 226 Def/ 32 Spd/ [17 Atk IV]
- Leech Seed
- Recover
- Grass Knot
- Psychic

Comments: Celebi is the final pokemon in this team. Leech Seed and Recover are staple with Celebi so i feel that explaining those would be pointless. Grass Knot is for STAB and can hit Gyarados and the like. When playtesting this team the main pokemon that came into Celebi was Gengar and Lucario, I can survive Gengars Shadow Ball and OHKO with Psychic, and can survive a SD Crunch from Lucario and deal 40 - 50% with Psychic.

So thats my team, enjoy looking and criticizing. If you catch me on Shoddy give me a bell and we'll battle. <3 Thanks <3

Looks similar to one of my teams.

Nothing much to advise, really, as weaknesess aren't of concern on certain teams, and this is one of them. I would add Earthquake / Ice Fang on Gyarados to give you a wider variety of options against certain Pokemon in tight situations. Obviously, Thunder Wave will help you in a way, but it's not as if you "need" the paralysis support considering your team could only benifit from the "fully paralyzed" Pokemon and not the speed reduction it gives. You shouldn't use it for continuous switching in, so an offensive EV spread would work better over the current.

Hidden Power [Ice] > Nasty Plot, personally. But that doesn't mean it's the "better" option, it's the coverage that I prefer, along with the attacking from turn one instead of setting up.

Looks good, though.

I like this team a lot to be honest. However I agree that you need HP Ice on Nape just for garchomps and other dragons. Ice Fang over TW on Gyara also is viable if you dislike Taunt. Celebi could then thunder wave for you. Earthquake on Bronzong it will help a lot more. What is the point on 1 speed on zong? Just to power up Gyro Ball? I say just use regular speed with a -nature to still power up bronzong but not auto lose to most bronzong that run 31 speed ivs as well. This seems kind of stupid but I like 4 speed evs on my bronzong now to outspeed any other bronzong. Plus you will be known for having the fastest bronzong in the world ._.

Good luck

Taylor: Thank you, i was personally leaning towards Hidden Power [Ice] in the first place so its good that a well experienced player as yourself would agree. I was considering dropping Thunder Wave, but i wasnt sure what for.

Kinglerdude24: Thanks to you also. The 1 Spd IV is to make sure i outspeed all Bronzongs without using/wasting and EVs. I used to use Earthquake on Bronzong but found my current setup more useful. Ice Fang over Thunder-Wave ill playtest though.

[Edits]:

Gyarados: Ice Fang > Thunder-Wave
Infernape: Hidden Power [Ice] > Nasty Plot

Also trying to come up with a more offensive EV spread for Gyarados to playtest.

You're probably going to do best with just Max attack/speed on Gyarados. With SR in play, you 2HKO 300/404 Celebi with Ice Fang, which is pretty good. (And should also tell you that your Celebi won't always be a guarantee Gyarados counter!!!!!)

Also nitpicking but I'd rather have Lum Berry on Bronzong. This will make starting Gengars get fucked as you just GB them and get a free kill on turn 1. You're most likely blowing up so it's not like that 6% will help you as it would with a different role on another team.

I would personally use Lucario over Infernape. It'll sweep just as well and makes up for the speed in Extremespeed. Xspeed might also prove a lot more valuabl since I can see Azelf and ScarfHera doing some damage here. Yeah in fact Azelf probably wins 6-0 if it gets off Nasty Plot.

If you keep Infernape, Fire Blast is so much better, even with the slight accuracy drop. Without a Nasty Plot, the extra power from Fire Blast really helps.

As an offensive team, this really needs something faster to deal with things like Gengar, Azelf, and Scarf Pokemon. Garchomp and Infernape are the best candidates I see for a scarf.

24 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spe on Gyarados will outspeed Weavile after 1 Dragon Dance, assuming you're using a Adamant nature.

Aeroblacktyl: Lum Berry on Bronzong is something that appeals to me, and will be playtested so thank you. I actually used SD Lucario before Inernape and found Infernape more helpful. Thank you.

IggyBot: Ill playtest Fire Blast over Flamethrower without the Nasty Plot and see how it does. I was going to use ScarfChomp over its Swords Dance version but not only was i making the mistakes of showing people it was scarfed to early, but i hate being locked into a move, i will however test it and get back to you on how it plays. Thank you.
