Offensive Team Needs Help

The past few days I have been trying to build my OU team and this is what I have as of now. I am trying to build an offensive team based around Mega Alakazam, but I keep getting walled.

Scizor (M) @ Occa Berry
Ability: Technician
EVs: 140 Atk / 252 HP / 116 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Pursuit
- Defog

I need some help with Scizor. I used to run a banded Scizor with superpower but now he can no longer learn superpower. I made him bulkier and added defog to prevent SR at the beginning of the game. I can usually get some hits off with him at the start, but I think he could be better or I should scrap him for a different lead.

Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute

Starmie is just a good special attacker with very wide coverage. I added on substitute rather than rapid spin because rapid spin is expected and I already have scizor running defog. I am open to using a different special attacker as Alakazam is psychic as well.

Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Psyshock
- Energy Ball
- Dazzling Gleam/Shadow Ball
- Substitute

I didn't have much faith for Alakazam until I actually started using him. You'll see later down the list I have a Salamence and a Sylveon, and here is how they work together: If another dragon type is up against Salamence, I can get a free switch in to Sylveon. With only being weak to poison and steel, Sylveon can get 1 or 2 Calm Minds off and baton pass this to Alakazam who can then sweep with it's ridiculous speed and SAtk. My main problem is my coverage. I want to keep psyshock for STAB and physical damage and Energy Ball for ttar, rotom w, etc, but I'm not sure between shadow ball and dazzling gleam. Substitute I find is a must because sucker punch can ruin a good set up in an instant.

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Stone Edge
- Reversal

Dugtrio has been a staple in my testing. Aegislash, Mega Charizard X/Y are not issues at all. Sucker punch destroys Aegi, earthquake takes down X, and stone edge is 4x against Y. Dugtrio also outspeeds Charizard so with focus sash it is guaranteed two attacks.

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Just a basic mixed setup. As always Salamence works as a late game sweeper/revenge killer. I wouldn't mind changing pokemon for this role but moxie is very good. His coverage is very similar to Dugtrio's however and I have found this a problem. Suggestions?

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Modest Nature
- Moon Blast
- Hyper Beam
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass

This thing is a TANK. I can use it to set up Alakazam or Starmie to sweep. If I find myself in odd situations, hyper beam gets fairy STAB thanks to pixilate, and it work sort of like explosion but with less damage/chance to survive.

There is a lot of holes in this team so I need help mending those. The only 3 pokemon I am for sure keeping are Dugtrio, Alakazam, and Sylveon. If you find a better revenge killer than salamence that suits my team better with coverage let me know! I also need a stronger lead. And lastly, Starmie is serving me well but there very well may be a better mon for this role.

I'd like to run a voltturn strategy with scizor and rotom, but rotom is unbreedable and that is just a pain.

Sorry for the grammar.

Thanks!

Edit:

Here is what I have edited this team to be. I am getting pretty good results on showdown but I am lacking rapid spin/defog. Aegislash is saving my life with sacred sword and he is an amazing physical sweeper. Eelektross basically is taking Starmie's place minus rapid spin. Donphan is my new lead for sleath rock, sturdy, and rapid spin. Dugtrio can basically cover what Salamence was doing and now that fairy types are immune to dragon, the other team was getting a lot of free switch-ins.

Let me know of any threats I should accommodate for.

Eelektross @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 172 HP / 84 Spd
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Grass Knot
- Flamethrower

Donphan (M) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: No
EVs: 4 Spe / 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Rapid Spin

Aegislash @ Occa Berry
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sacred Sword
- Shadow Sneak
- King's Shield

Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Psyshock
- Energy Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
- Substitute

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Stone Edge
- Reversal

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Modest Nature
- Moon Blast
- Swift
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass

Id go magic Guard for your Alakazam, protects your main guy from entry hazards if scizor fails, also leading with your defogger is risky... also Ariel Ace over pursuit in my opinion. its nice to follow the guidelines but there will be double team jerks out there. I prefer Cute Charm over Pixilate just cause it can stop a lot of teams dead in their tracks, but love the baton pass. Love the idea though, glad to see some diversity when it comes to Mega Evolutions

Yeah my bad I must've messed up when making this on pokemon showdown but my alakazam in game does in fact have magic guard. It protect from hazards then turns into trace. I actually traced gliscors "poison heal" and then he poisoned me lol.

I will definitely use acrobatics! What do you think about scizors berry and ev spread?

Hello.
Your descriptions are too short to fit the RMT rules requirements.
I encourage you to PM me an updated version of this team with beefed up descriptions, and since you're new, to join the Mentor Program. I'll be unlocking this thread after that.

Have a nice day.
