Offensively Oriented V2-Hariyama Lead :) a Platinum team by Dizzleman22!!

ImFatSo?? (Hariyama) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP/58 Atk/200 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Force Palm
- Bulk Up
- Payback
---

My Leadyama. I've always liked Hariyama's incredible attack, movepool, and abundance of priority moves, so i decided to try him out as a lead! This lead has worked particularly well for me, because Fake Out breaks an opposing players sash, then while they Stealth Rock, i can either get in a Bulk Up, or paralyze with Force Palm. If their lead is something such as Ttar, and it is clear they will switch to a Fighting resist, i can usually get in a Bulk Up and OHKO their Gengar or Rotom with Payback-i've found that a +3 Payback will do around 78 percent to a very bulky Rotom ^_^, and also, Hariyama provides a very helpful fire resist with Thick Fat.

OOX-EE (Uxie) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 200 HP/100 Def/160 Spd/50 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Trick
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Psychic
---

My novelty Trick Uxie. Uxie can outspeed all base 130s with the evs given, giving me an opportunity to Scarf them before they can cause much damage. Also, Uxie tends to attract DDtars, so i can successfully Trick then proceed to Paralyze and set up SR. Uxie is my pseudo-wall, and also serves more as a late game disrupter then an early game switch in-however i do try to switch in for a bit to set up rocks.

PolyDolly (Poliwrath) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/6 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch
- Waterfall
- Substitute
---

Poliwrath counters a lot of weak spots and is quite durable, also a force to be reckoned with while behind a substitute. Great coverage, protection, and Focus Punch is godly. Nuff said.

Threatening (Electivire) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 200 Atk/200 Spd/110 SAtk
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Cross Chop
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Thunderbolt
Works great with Gyarados and POliwrath and comes in late game to take the electric. This can also be fast on its own with the Choice Scar ^^ as a lot of people do indeed predict the electivire switch. Also has awesome coverage (13 out of 17 types hit for S.E) and with prediction this can be great.

SolidSnake (Gyarados) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
---

Gyarados is my mid-game tank. Natural bulk combined with few weaknesses and many resistances to switch in provides it with almost a guarantee of getting one dragon dance, and being able to outrun pretty much everything after one Dragon Dance allows me to taunt any physical walls that come in and try to T-wave. After my Gyarados gets 2-3 DDs it is almost unstoppable. Taunt stops status, and Waterfall and Stone Edge provide what i believe is the most optimal coverage for any Gyarados set. Also provides a fire resist and can set up all over Scarftran.

CleanUp (Lucario) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 6 Hp/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Extremespeed
- Crunch
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat
---

Ever since i played with Lucario in SSBB, i thought he was incredibly cool-then i tried using him on Shoddy, and thought he was pretty good there too. Ever since i have been trying many different Lucario sets ranging from Specs, to MixScarf to the ever so common SD variants. Then i decided to try a Banded Luc, and realized how this could be used to the fullest when combined with all of Lucario's priority moves. In addition, Bullet Punch when combined with a band will take out most Pokemon faster than luke bar Jolteon and bulky Crobats, and not many slow Psychics like Cresselia can take a banded Crunch from Max attack Adamant Lucario. Close Combat is great stab, and combined with high base power and band is a force to be reckoned with.

ALl in all this team is mostly OO-or Offensively Oriented. Please rate and enjoy, i have been gone for all of two weeks so i am currently unaware of any serious changes to the metagame, however in battles today with this team no obvious changes have been evident. Thank you all very much!!

Threat List

Tyranitar: Hariyama walls and can effectively 2HKO with Force Palm. Poliwrath and Electivire can come in to finish off, as can Gyarados or Lucario

Gyarados: Electivire comes in and OHKOs or forces switch, Uxie can trick Scarf on while Gyarados DDs effectively crippling it, and can Thunder Wave so its "ubercrippled."

Infernape: Uxie counters everything and cripples, Gyarados and Electivire (and Lucario) can all OHKO.

Azelf: Gyarados counters, Uxie counters, Lucario OHKOs with Crunch while standard Psychic/Explosion Azelfs cannot OHKO.

Electivire: My Own electivire can handle this, as can Uxie and Lucario can OHKO-2HKO with Extremespeed.

Heracross: Only Banded variants with Stone Edge can stand a chance against Gyarados, otherwise Gyarados can set up and KO with Waterfall.

Salamence: Uxie, Gyarados, Hariyama to an extent, Electivire and Lucario to revenge kill

Gengar: Lucario Crunches to KO if the Focus Blast misses (which happens quite a lot) and Hariyama can KO with Payback

Lucario: Gyarados, Uxie, Electivire and Lucario to revenge kill.

Starmie: Lucario OHKOs with Crunch, Electivire revenge kills and OHKOs, Uxie can handle easily, Hariyama can handle variants that don't carry Psychic.

Weavile: Lucario and Gyarados

Dugtrio: Bullet Punch OHKOs (from Lucario) Gyarados can beat after a DD and OHKO.

Porygonz: Uxie, Lucario revenge kills, Electivire revenge kills

Machamp: Uxie, Gyarados

Snorlax: Hariyama, Uxie, Gyarados

Suicune: Uxie can Trick/TWave and then Gyarados can set up and KO

Breloom: Uxie, Gyarados, Electivire to revenge kill

Ninjask: Priority from Lucario, and SR and Uxie hurt, Uxie can do damage with Psychic and paralyze the recipient of BP, even better can trick scarf onto Ninjask to cripple it and allow a Gyarados setup.

Metagross: Gyarados, Uxie

Heatran: Gyarados, Uxie, Poliwrath to an extent.

Celebi: Electivire to an extent, Taunt Gyarados to an extent, and Lucario

Jirachi: Uxie, SubCM causes trouble, Poliwrath to an extent and Electivire to 2HKO with EQ

Dragonite: Electivire Gyarados Uxie

Mamoswine: Gyarados Uxie

Gallade: Gyarados Uxie to an extent

Yanmega: Gyarados handles Non-Specs variants. More SpDe evs??

Kingdra: Poliwrath, Gyarados, Uxie

Roserade: EASY! Uxie can take non-Specs Shadow Ball, Gyarados, Electivire and Lucario for the revenge kill.

Scizor: Gyarados is a complete counter. Uxie handles variations with Roost and not X Scissor.

You pmed me this link and here I am! (that was my first pm! congrats)

This team looks pretty solid. Lets get to it.

On Hariyama, I would switch to the analysis spread as yours is not very efficient. That would be 252 atk 76 hp and 180 def. This gives you more bulk than your current spread which helps to counter Tyranitar and other threats.

As for uxie, it's a bit to gimicky for my liking, but if it's not broken why fix it? If it's been working for you fine, keep it, but if you want a change of pace, you could use a suicide azelf lead instead of it. The scarf trick one works well as does the focus sash standard. You could then save hariyama for late game/tyranitar and not have it killed by suicide leads.

I would also switch breloom to either the sub punch set which is substitute, spore, focus punch, and leech seed/seed bomb/stone edge, or the bulk up set which is a personal favorite of mine. The set in the analysis is: Breloom@ Toxic orb
248 hp 252 atk 8 spd
Adamant
Bulk up
Mach Punch
Spore
Stone edge/seed bomb

This set is very hard to take down after a bulk up or two and it gets leftovers equivilant recovery even in sand! Out of sand it gets so much health back it is very bulky. Mach punch makes up for the lack of speed and it can take out weakened things late game as well. Last slot is for type coverage.

I would also change skymin's set to either the substitute/earth power/seed flare/ air slash set or the substitute/leech seed/air slash/seed flare set. The former can sweep handily at any stage of the game and the second is more equiped to take on blissey. Either one works well, but it depends on the niche you want to fill on your team, and your playstyle.

I would change gyrados to the 252 atk 252 spd 4 hp LO Adamant spread. This allows for maximum sweepiness and it is deadly, as it's only counters are celebi (must have t-wave) and vaporeon (must have hp electric). Your gyra is a cross between bulky and offensive that eschews the strenths of both. Just put a Life orb on it and go with Waterfall,Earthquake,Stone Edge and Dragon Dance. It is the most effective set in today's metagame.

For lucario I suggest going standard SD set because choice users are usually not good cleaners because they cannot switch attacks to score super effective hits on everything left. Go with Swords dance/Ice punch/Extreme Speed/Close Combat with 252 atk 252 spd 4 hp and Adamant. This can clean late game better than anything and it outclasses bandcario in terms of cleaning.

Hope I helped and Good luck with the team.
