ORAS OU OG Threat Mega Pinsir HO

Wsup Smogon, its Noir bear here for my second RMT and ive decided to make a team around Mega Pinsir. With a crippling x4 weakness to Stealth Rock, Mega Pinsir has always failed to obtain a spot on most of my OU teams. The pressure to constantly keep hazards off my side of the field is too much for me, but seeing the major use of Mega Loppunny, ive decided to use this monster. Now lets get into the Squad.

WhatUgot4Me?? (Pinsir-Mega) (M) @ Pinsirite
Ability: Aerilate
Shiny: Yes
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Frustration
- Quick Attack
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance

Mega Pinsir is the main member of my team.Mega Pinsir functions primarily as the physical wallbreaker and powerhouse for the team, breaking through even obnoxious wallcores like the MegaVenusaur + Heatran core and dealing with Mega Loppuny.Usually, Pinsir comes in, clicks Frustration, and something will get knocked out. There are obvious counters and checks to Mega Pinsir, with Zapdos, Rotom-W and Skarmory being the best ones. Frustration is used over Return for Dittos. Dittos on showdown have max (255) happiness by default. Because of that, their Frustration will literally do only 1 damage. Quick attack for priority, close combat for ballon mons and other threats. Swords Dance to destroy anything in your path.

TwinBlades (Garchomp) (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Tail

Garchomp is just a great Pokemon and does so many things for my team.It sets up the essential Stealth Rocks reliably, it helps alot against bird spam, which would definitely destroy my team with out Garchomp and Thundurus. It takes care of Bisharp which is a big threat for HO Teams and checks MLoppuny. It's nothing to mess around with. Earthquake, even univested, does a ton and Dragon Tail is cool for shuffling. Fire Blast is there to suprise hit the likes of Skarmory, Ferrothorn and Forretress.

Hoe (Bisharp) (M) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Pursuit
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head

The problems started to happen: Besides Diancie setting up a Rock Polish, the Team was really dependent of speed ties, so the beginning of my solution was Bisharp. Bisharp also brings to the table his own equally dangerous SP to help me revenge killing many things like Mega Gallade, Landorus-T, Tyranitar and Gengar, while also trapping and killing Latios and Mega Latias (which Bisharp is the only thing walling). Despite being frail as fuk, Bisharp also can Revenge Kill any Mega Metagross set lacking Agility or any non-attacking move, which it's very sweet, avoiding mind games with Diancie and Magnezone, fearing both Earthquake and Bullet Punch. Sucker Punch is Sucker Punch... Without him Bisharp is useless and I wouldn't be able to revenge kill all those threats. Iron Head it's his another STAB... Not used that much, but it has his purposes. If you have an Bisharp, you have Knock Off, is that simple; Being the most spawnable move in the game who remove items, gets STAB and is your strongest move, you definitively needs to run. Pursuit is for the affected situations already mentioned. EV's are once again basic.

Its Fine (Landorus) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
IVs:0 AtK EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Rock Polish
- Earth Power
- Focus Blast/Sludge Wave/Psychic
- Hidden Power [Ice]/Sludge Wave/Psychic

Landorus is a incredible pokemon, its base 101 speed allows it to outspeed mega medicham, mega charizard, and mega gardevoir with out RP up. Landorus also has an amazing movepool combined with sheer force to make it a big threat. Earth power is landorus' stab move and it hits like a truck, just like gardevoir, even things that resist it will take a ton of damage. Focus Blast is a good coverage move to hits things like skarmory and rotom that are immune to earth power, sludge wave is also a option to hit sylveon, azumarill, and other fairy types. Psychic is also sort of like focus blast, to hit things that are immune to earth power, but psychic hits the very fat poke known as mega venusaur. Rock Polish for a late game sweep after everything is widdled down. Hidden power ice is good for things such as gliscor, latios, garchomp, and even though you take life orb recoil, you wouldn't be able to hit them very well. All in all landorus is a fantastic pokemon.

TreatMeLikaGod (Thundurus) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 192 Atk / 64 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Knock Off
- Superpower
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Defiant Thundurus is amazing, since it has the speed to get kills after getting the boost, the power to do massive damage, and the ability to beat common defoggers like Latias, Mandibuzz (something Bisharp can not do) and Zapdos. Thundurus is my most reliable attacker, since it does not require set-up and outspeeds the majority of the metagame with or without sticky web. Since Defiant Thundurus is rare, many people think they can defog or send in an intimidater like Mega Manectric for free, which worked for me even in the higher ladder. The only problem is that unboosted Thundurus is setup fodder for Dragon Dance + Roost Charizard X, which can sweep my team after 1 Dragon Dance.

TheySayImaStar (Starmie) @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
IVs:0 Atk EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Psyshock
- Rapid Spin

Starmie main role is my hazard Remover. when buildind the team i wanted a rapin spinner because i didnt want to rely on a defogger since that gets rid of my hazards on his field too. I also chose starmie so i out speed and do massive damage to the lati twins and thundurus. The reason for natural cure was just incase thundurus Thunder waved me is that when I switch it out and back it i wouldnt be hindered when i want to remove rocks later in the match

The team looks pretty solid over all but I have a few suggestions for you.
First off: helmet chomp usually runs 92 speed ev's. This is to allow it to outspeed jolly loom and jolly bisharp. While it does reduce it's physical bulk, it can still eat up hits fairly well and allows you to KO breloom hopefully before it can spore you.
Second: Double defiant is definitely viable but on your team it makes more sense to have prankster thundurus to help out with stall as bisharp is a solid defiant attacker. Defiant is really there to punish defoggers and bisharp loves to switch in on latis. I would recommend replacing it with a set more like this one:
Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave
Number Three: Seeing as how you have hp ice on thundurus and ice beam on starmie, hp ice on landorus feels a bit redundant. Consider replacing it with sludge wave to hit fairies harder as it can allow you to 2HKO some variants of mega altaria.
Number Four: Usually life orb/offensive starmie runs hydro pump and analytic while bulkier starmie run scald with natural cure. You may want to invest in hp bulk and replace the life orb with leftiez to increase your longevity and the number of times you can spin. If you do this you will have to pick a coverage move to drop (I would say psyshock) so you can run recover to further enhance your lifespan. While you could drop ice beam and keep psyshock, I feel ice beam hits more than psyshock as you are not doing much to mega venusaur anyways as it will recover off most of the damage you deal with giga drain.
Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 24 Def / 12 SpA / 224 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam/Psyshock/Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
A set like this would maximize your bulk while still leaving you with some offensive presence while still outspeeding thundurus and lati.
