Ogerpon-Cornerstone is an excellent wallbreaker and setup sweeper for Rock teams not only because of its neutrality to Ground- and Water-type moves Ground, and Water neutralities, but also because it is able to outspeed and deal with threats like Great Tusk, Gastrodon, and Mamoswine. Sturdy allows Ogerpon-Cornerstone to take a hit from and remove faster threats like Barraskewda, as well as Choice Scarf Great Tusk and Choice Scarf Galarian Zapdos after a Swords Dance. Ivy Cudgel deals with threats like Ogerpon-Hearthflame, Baxcalibur and Enamorus, while also OHKOing Dragonite, (RC) and Heatran after a Swords Dance. Horn Leech is a good Grass STAB move, (AC) being able to hurt Ground- and Water-types like Quagsire and Ting-Lu and also OHKOing Walking Wake after a boost Boost. Horn Leech recovery is useful for extending Ogerpon-Cornerstone's longevity and can let you take advantage of Sturdy Sturdy be used again if it brings you Ogerpon-C back to full HP. Superpower is a strong coverage move, as it is being able to deal with Steel- and Dark- types like Iron Treads, Hisuian-Goodra, Urshifu-S, and Kingambit while at +2 being able to OHKO Snorlax at +2.

Choice Scarf Glimmora, (AC) with its colorful moveset, (AC) deals with faster threats that outspeed Ogerpon-Cornerstone like non-Choice-Scarf Greninja, Kommo-o, and Iron Valiant. In return, Ogerpon-Cornerstone deals with Azumarill and Ursaluna-B for Glimmora. Air Balloon Glimmora can switch into threatening Ground-type moves while taking on foes like Great Tusk, clear entry hazards with Mortal Spin to make sure Ogerpon-C's Sturdy isnt isn't broken, and sets its own hazards to enable Ogerpon-Cornerstone's sweeps. Tyranitar sets up sand to allow Ogerpon-C to set up easier due to the Special Defense boost, ; (RS, AC) which allows Ogerpon-Cornerstone to survive an OHKO from Choice Specs Walking Wake. Tyranitar also acts as a specially defensive (I assume that's what this meant) tank for Ogerpon-Conerstone and deals with Flutter Mane, Dragapult, and Spectrier. Ogerpon-Cornerstone aids Tyranitar by dealing with Landorus-Therian, (RC) and non-Choice-Scarf non-Choice Scarf Hisuian Samurott. Choice Band Hisuian Arcanine is a strong wallbreaker, (AC) with Head Smash and Flare Blitz taking on walls like Gholdengo and Corviknight. Hisuian Arcanine appreciates Ogerpon-Cornerstone being able to deal with pesky Water- and Ground-types (remove space) like Belly Drum Azumarill, Landorus, and Sandy Shocks. Coalossal is a decent physical wall that can remove hazards which prevent prevents Ogerpon-Cornerstone's Sturdy from breaking and deals with Chien-Pao, Kingambit, Scizor, and Corviknight. Coalossal also sets up Spikes to enhance Ogerpon-C's wallbreaking. Ogerpon-Cornerstone takes care of Ursaluna-B, (RC) and Manaphy for Coalossal. Iron Defense + Body Press Garganacl can act as a defensive stallbreaker with Salt Cure to weaken impediments to Ogerpon-Cornerstone sweeping, like Skeledirge, Dondozo, and Hisuian-Goodra (RD). Ogerpon-Cornerstone shuts down Choice Band Mamoswine, (AC) which would otherwise destroy Garganacl. Lead Kleavor is another option that can set Stealth Rock with Stone Axe potentially breaking Focus Sash Ceruledge, Breloom, and Ribombee's Focus Sashes that can hinder Ogerpon-Cornerstone's sweeps otherwise. Assualt Vest Diancie eases the Fighting and Dragon matchups by being able to take on non-Choice Band Urshifu-S, (remove space) Iron Valiant, Baxcalibur, and Dragapult. Alolan Golem can trap and eliminate Steel types Steel-types such as Corviknight and Scizor for Ogerpon-Cornerstone. In return Ogerpon-Cornerstone destroys Gorund-types like Quagsire and Ursaluna-B.

Play Rough is another good option over Superpower, (AC) as it hits Kommo-o and gets a guaranteed OHKO on Urshifu-S without a Swords Dance boost; however, it leaves Ogerpon without coverage for Steel-types. Knock Off can be used to hit Gholdengo, Jirachi and create permanent progress by removing items. Low Kick can be used over Superpower as an alternative option that doesn't drop Ogerpon-Cornerstone's stats while still threatening Steel types. Taunt allows Ogerpon-Cornerstone to set up infront in front of Toxapex and prevents burns from Galarian Weezing.
