Ogerpon-Hearthflame (F) @ Hearthflame Mask
Ability: Desolate Land / Sword of Ruin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Power Whip / Horn Leech
- Play Rough / Knock Off

[SET COMMENTS]
Ogerpon-H is a strong wallbreaker that is able to beat many of the tier's premier walls, such as Corviknight, Scream Tail, and Great Tusk thanks to its high Attack, excellent STAB moves, and good Speed tier. Power Whip can be used to get massive damage on Ground- and Water-types, including securing the KO on Intimidate Quaquaval and physically defensive Great Tusk after Swords Dance, while Horn Leech can be run instead to give Ogerpon-H more longevity. Ogerpon-H has a number of options for its last moveslot, such as Play Rough to hit Kommo-o and Roaring Moon, OHKOing both after a Swords Dance, and Knock Off to cripple foes, especially switch-ins like Primordial Sea Zapdos, which gets 2HKOed after Stealth Rock, as well as 2HKOing Well-Baked Body Gholdengo with Sword of Ruin. Desolate Land provides the most power to Ivy Cudgel and lets Ogerpon-H offensively check Water-types like Manaphy and Barraskewda, while Sword of Ruin allows Play Rough to OHKO Kommo-o and 2HKO Garchomp. Due to its average defenses and lack of recovery if not running Horn Leech, Ogerpon-H benefits both from entry hazard removers like Great Tusk and Quaquaval and slow pivots like Corviknight and Empoleon that can get it on the field safely. Ogerpon-H also appreciates hazard setters like Garchomp and Heatran, which can chip down walls like Scream Tail for it to more easily KO.

Ogerpon-H is a strong wallbreaker thanks to its high Attack, excellent STAB moves, and good Speed tier that is able to beat many of the tier's premier physical walls, such as Corviknight, Scream Tail, and Great Tusk. Power Whip can be used to get massive damage on Ground- and Water-types like Great Tusk and Quaquaval including securing the OHKO on Intimidate Quaquaval and phsyically defensive Great Tusk after Swords Dance, while Horn Leech can be run instead to give Ogerpon-H more longevity. Ogerpon-H has a number of options for its last slot, such as Play Rough to hit Kommo-o and Roaring Moon, Knock Off to cripple opponents, especially switch-ins like Primordial Sea Zapdos, by removing their items, Spikes to help it secure 2HKOs against walls like Unaware Scream Tail, or Trailblaze to boost its already good Speed, allowing it to outspeed nearly the entire unboosted metagame at +1 I would re-write this just focus on Play Rough and Knock Off; Knock Off is also key for Well-Baked Body Gholdengo. Swords Dance ramps up Ogerpon-H's offensive power, making it able to OHKO physically defensive Great Tusk, Garganacl, and Kommo-o at +2. moved earlier Desolate Land can be used to power up Ivy Cudgel and provide Ogerpon-H with a Water-type immunity, while Sword of Ruin can be used instead to provide slightly less power to all of Ogerpon-H's moves. Desolate Land provides the most power to Ivy Cudgel and lets it offensive check Water-types like Manaphy and Barraskewda, while Sword of Ruin allows Knock Off to OHKO Well-Baked Body Gholdengo after Swords Dance and Play Rough to OHKO Kommo-o and 2HKO Garchomp. Due to its average defenses and lack of recovery if not running Horn Leech, Ogerpon-H benefits both from entry hazard removers like Great Tusk and Quaquaval and slow pivots like Corviknight and Empoleon that can get it on the field safely. Desolate Land provides the most power to Ivy Cudgel and lets Ogerpon-H offensively check Water-types like Manaphy and Barraskewda, while Sword of Ruin allows Knock Off to OHKO Well-Baked Body Gholdengo after Swords Dance it's a 68% chance to OHKO from full without SoR, you could probably just move this to the previous sentence and Play Rough to OHKO Kommo-o and 2HKO Garchomp. Ogerpon-H is a strong wallbreaker thanks to its high Attack, excellent STAB moves, and good Speed tier (I would move everything from "thanks" to "tier" to after "Great Tusk" if you don't just mean its Speed tier lets it outspeed these walls) that is able to beat many of the tier's premier walls, such as Corviknight, Scream Tail, and Great Tusk. Power Whip can be used to get massive damage on Ground- and Water-types, (comma) including securing the KO on Intimidate Quaquaval and physically defensive Great Tusk after Swords Dance, while Horn Leech can be run instead to give Ogerpon-H more longevity. Ogerpon-H has a number of options for its last slot moveslot, such as Play Rough to hit Kommo-o and Roaring Moon, able to OHKO OHKOing both after a Swords Dance, or and Knock Off to cripple opponents foes, especially switch-ins like Primordial Sea Zapdos, which gets 2HKOed after Stealth Rocks Rock, as well as 2HKOing Well-Baked Body Gholdengo with Sword of Ruin.
