Ogerpon-Hearthflame (F) @ Hearthflame Mask
Ability: Mold Breaker
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Wood Hammer
- Follow Me / Stomping Tantrum
- Spiky Shield
Ogerpon-H storms through Regulation F, blazing through common Pokemon like Rillaboom and Urshifu-R with its Fire- and Grass-type STAB attacks. In addition to this, Ogerpon-H has a supportive option in Follow Me, allowing it to use its solid typing to redirect attacks such as Moonblast from Flutter Mane and Iron Head from Kingambit. Alternatively, Stomping Tantrum can be used as a more offensive option to hit opposing Fire-types, while Spiky Shield is used as a better alternative to Protect. Ogerpon-H struggles into lots of common attacks such as Sludge Bomb from Landorus and Bleakwind Storm from Tornadus because of its poor defensive typing and bulk. For this, partners like Chien-Pao that can easily remove these threats are appreciated. Additionally, partners like Kingambit should be run to switch in on these attacks. In return, Ogerpon-H is able to redirect Fighting-type attacks from the likes of Urshifu-R for the aforementioned allies while acting as a way to hit opposing Steel-types like Gholdengo with Ivy Cudgel.
