Jolly Nature

- Knock Off / Play Rough / Spikes / Trailblaze

[SET COMMENTS]
Ogerpon-W's excellent power, great STAB coverage, good Speed tier, and bevy of useful moves make it a potent offensive threat that can overwhelm bulkier teams with Swords Dance. Ivy Cudgel not only boasts obscene power, but also is non-contact and has a high critical hit chance, bypassing Fluffy and Rocky Helmet and often bypassing Intimidate with critical hits. Power Whip is the preferred secondary STAB move to OHKO Manaphy, while Horn Leech provides recovery. Knock Off hits Desolate Land Ceruledge, Iron Moth, and Heatran, while Play Rough dispatches of Kommo-o, Trailblaze allows Ogerpon-W to potentially sweep offensive teams, and Spikes reliably wears down switch-ins like Hisuian Goodra, (comma) which can get 2HKOed after Spikes. Primordial Sea is the preferred ability to make Ivy Cudgel even stronger and provide a useful Fire immunity, while Sword of Ruin also boosts Ogerpon-W's other coverage, achieving important benchmarks like OHKOing Kommo-o. Ogerpon-W appreciates fast cleaners that can take advantage of the holes it creates in opposing teams, especially fast special pivots like Azelf and Hisuian Electrode that can get it in on special walls and overwhelm the physical walls like Kommo-o that it struggles with. Ogerpon-W has mediocre bulk, so it appreciates defensive teammates like Meloetta, defensive Zapdos, and Intimidate Corviknight to take hits and get it in safely or dual screens support from Prankster Corviknight to let it set up safely.

Ogerpon-W's excellent power, great STAB coverage, good Speed tier, and bevy of useful moves make it a potent offensive threat that can also overwhelm bulkier teams with Swords Dance. Ivy Cudgel not only boasts obscene power, but also is non-contact and has a high criticil hit change, bypassing bypasses assumed knowledge imo, you can keep it if you want Fluffy and Rocky Helmet and often bypassing bypasses Intimidate. Power Whip is the preferred secondary STAB move to OHKO Manaphy, while Horn Leech provides recovery on setup sets. Knock Off hits Desolate Land Ceruledge, Iron Moth, and Heatran, Play Rough yeets Kommo-o, Trailblaze allows Ogerpon-W to potentially sweep offensive teams, and Spikes reliably wears down switchins like Hisuian Goodra specifying that it knocks hoodra into 2HKO range after spikes would be nice. Primordial Sea is the preferred ability to break Ivy Cudgel even more and provide a useful Fire immunity, while Sword of Ruin also boosts its other coverage give an example of a roll that SoR has over primsea like play rough OHKOing defensive kommo-o. Ogerpon-W appreciates fast cleaners that can take advantage of the holes it creates in opposing teams, especially fast special pivots like Azelf and Electrode-H that can get it in on special walls mention how they can also handle the physical walls that oger might struggle with. Ogerpon-W only has mediocre bulk by AAA standards, so it appreicates defensive teammates like Intimidate Corviknight and Meloetta to take hits and get it in safely or dual screens support from Prankster Corviknight to set up safely.
