Oh! I had a sunburn

Oh ! I Had a sunburn

Hi
, I will now present a sunny day team, I would like advice on how to improve it because I really like this atmosphere, it's fun to play, finally, up to the team

mkceif.jpg

Feunard (Ninetales) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 96 SDef / 160 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Flamethrower
- Protect
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roar

It is the installer's climate sun, the only Over the Used, I am obliged to put in my team, I chose this set to better anticipate politoed scarf or specs, if it would laser ice in anticipation, wisp is there for all physical sweepers trying to put on as tyranitar or dragonite ... Flametrower to stab, stab with the double sun, it can do damage neutral. Howl and to avoid the duel against the lati@s CM

Florizarre (Venusaur) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Energy Ball
- Growth
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sludge Bomb

I put Venusaur on Tangrowth because tangrowth is too low, there is not much time involved in addition to the life orb. I tried Venusaur in his place, and it is better in the role of chlorophyll sweeper, I preferred to growth instead of sleep powder to make a late game sweeper effective. I put sludge bomb to hit everything that I do not touch my principal stab. Hidden Power Fire is for skarmory, forretress

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
- U-turn
- Iron Head

If I have Jirachi is because I had a big weakness blissey, Before I Latias but after lots of testing, Jirachi is the best in the sun, I put on a u-turn tyranitar, if it I put dugtrio remains and kills him, if I switch it is against the appropriate punch ice can freeze and it can reach the dragons, iron head can flinch, and kill blissey, fire punch for Magnezone essaierent me that trap

Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 244 SAtk / 12 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Rock]

Heatran is there to enjoy the sun, with a spa and a 392 fire blast with a double stab, the damage is not neglected. Hp rock for volcarona that after SR died. Earth power for feunard enemy and other Heatran. Stealth rock is forced to a Sun team. After the sun it can be very large damage to the opposing team.

Rotom-W @ Leftovers Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Sunny Day
- Thunder Wave
- Hydro Pump / Hidden Power [Fire]
- Volt Switch

Thanks To Katakiri

Thank you for the suggestion katakiri to this Pokemon, it's just great, I place myself on a pokemon that can do anything to me, I have thunder wave on the switch. and the pokemon that happens, if it has a large base speed or scarf is, it becomes useless, I can also place the sun for example if the Pokemon is just a climate inducer. Sunny day to place the sun, h-pump offers better coverage of the types that HP Fire. volt change in anticipation of a switch, and thunder wave to render useless Pokemon.

Triopikeur (Dugtrio) (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 32 Def / 224 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Stone Edge
- Aerial Ace

I replaced by mamoswine dugtrio because I had a little trouble to get rid of because it can switch tyranitar against my attacks. in general, if I see tyranitar in the team preview in starter, I put Jirachi, make u-turn and puts dugtrio if he switch, I put the cons appropriate. Aerial Ace breloom, I did not put Sadow claw as I'd sucker punch for ghost types. Stone Edge for thundurus, tornadus and all dragon-types. Earthquake stab and it allows me to get rid of tyranitar.

Thank you for having followed this team if you have any advice or changes to this team and do not hesitate to offer ^ ^

Solid team. You may have problems with tornadus and thundurus after mamoswine is down. And excadrill can post a threat. I recommend a bronzong over latias, but it's not necessary.
Not much to say, good job.

Alright there's a couple things I could point out. Hitmontop is really doing nothing for your team other than Spinning and to be honest, you shouldn't be too worried about hazards as long as you prevent them from stacking up. No Tyranitar will ever switch-in or stay in on a Hitmontop, Jellicent will just burn you for staying in on it and being able to Toxic Jelli is always nice but not your Rapid Spinner is steadily losing health & has it's attack power halved meaning Pokemon like Skarmory or Ferrothorn can come in & just spam Spikes until you die or really anything they want.

As a Hitmontop replacement, I'd recommend a little jewel I've been keeping under wraps for a while:

Rotom-W @ Leftovers Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Sunny Day
- Thunder Wave
- Hydro Pump / Hidden Power [Fire]
- Volt Switch

Personally just love this Rotom to death. This set takes a lot, and I mean a LOT of pressure off of Ninetales. You really don't need a Rapid Spinner with a secondary Sunny Day around. Especially one that switches in on Politoed & Tyranitar for free. It's not using Heat Rock because it doesn't need it. Considering that Weather changes every 3 turns, 5 turns of Sun is plenty. It also will let you build a lot of damage on Politoed via Stealth Rock as Rotom will make Politoed piss itself as it switches in & uses Sunny Day. Tyranitar can't do much to it either. Hydro Pump is covering everything that Rotom can't T-Wave. Because the weather changes constantly, Hydro Pump's is still it's best coverage move. Hidden Power Fire is just for Ferrothorn if you think you need it.

I'm a little pressed for time so I'll have to end this rate here. ^^;
Put a lot of Ninetale's HP EVs into her Special Attack & use Overheat instead of Flamethrower. With Flamethrower being your only attack & running Roar to get setup sweepers away, there's no reason not to use the extra power from Overheat.

It's a nice team, just needs a couple tweaks here & there.

...here's the Set you asked for (yes, I know people, B-sludge, so sue me)

RageFace (Venusaur) (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 204 HP / 136 Def / 160 SAtk / 8 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sludge Bomb
- Growth

might I suggest a Choice Scarf or Focus sash on DugTrio??? I think he has enough power on his own, and the extra speed or survivability may prove worthwhile...

Thanks for the set i try that ^^
But i've no spinner in my team so focus sash... and i don't need a choice scarf, thanks ^^

sorry for the doublePost, I'm having trouble using the edit button (Smogon is blocked without me using a Proxy Bypass, and it's not fully compatable)

anyway, the way my Venusaur works, is that It absorbs a lot, and I mean A LOT of damage, but still has the speed and power (after a growth) to sweep. B-sludge is there to heal up for that last bit of survivability (yeah I know leftovers and trick blah blah blah) - It has a leftovers No. in HP, and the EV spread makes it have 1 point lower in Defence, not S-def, making Download users (who knows? it might happen) get an attack boost, and every downloader has better SA (except the banned Genesect)
-this isn't a problem though, because it has mixed defences, which is still good...

oh, wait a second! (I hesitated before I posted, good thing too) I was using my older Set with RageFace, this is my updated one...

Rageface (Venusaur) (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 204 HP / 140 Def / 24 SAtk / 140 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sludge Bomb
- Growth

^This set is a little bit faster, which lets it outspeed a choice scarfed Pory-Z, the fastest common Scarfer IIRC. it also still has a leftovers No. and respectable power. If you think you don't have to worry about boosters or Scarfers (as I must have for going back to the old set) then use the old set. Regardless, I want to throw these in the Venusaur analysis, and I may get around to offering it, because it works!!!

if you want, you can look at my old RMT - it's dead, and I've made many changes since, but it's here - www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3446698

sorry I couldn't say more! gtg

You are chansey weak; you should take a band zor over your Jirachi.
More Scizor will check terrakium because it is a very big thread for your team, rock polish terrakium can do a 6-0 ._.

Very solid team. Well built but as all teams you have some weaknesses that you have to play around. Excadrill could be a problem. If excadrill sets up an SD im not sure how well your rotom is gonna take a +2 rock slide. The air balloon on your heatran is really all that is holding that together. I really like the idea of having sunny day on rotom. But i am pretty sure it is illegal to not run hydro pump so hp fire is not an option in that slot. That is pretty much it but you will want to stay on top of the weather wars because in other weathers your team couldn't last very well against other well built weather teams that have there weather up. Good luck.

a Drought team and none of your team has Solarbeam. why use energy ball instead of solarbeam on a chlorophyll venusaur in your gonna be using it on a SUN TEAM

if i loose the weather war, i've nothing for kill gliscor. And During the game I may need to Venusaur, so energy ball is best

Man I'm sick of all this Solar Beam garbage :/. Example: Tyranitar/Politoed switches into Solar Beam. You now have to charge for a full turn. Tyranitar and Politoed are #2 and 4 most used so don't say is JUST 2 pokemon.

I'm working on a rate neroo, I just wanted to get that out of the way lol.

Hello, nice sun team you have here. I have a couple of suggestions. With that new Rotom-W getting up sun, your Ninetales set could use a bit of tweaking. Like Katakiri said, Rotom takes pressure of Ninetales so you can afford to run a bit more of an offensive set. A spread of 36 HP / 216 SAtk / 92 SDef / 164 Spd should be fine. You need 164 Speed to out-speed Jolly Excadrill or else your banking on winning a speed tie. I don't really see the apeal of Roar on Ninetales. Roar has negative priority, so your basically asking people to hit your weather inducer. I know it's for phazing out set up sweepers, but players never try to set up on Tales for fear of WoW, they usually go for the kill strait away. Protect is another move I'm scepticle of. The extra Lefties is nice, but your just asking for Tyranitar to set up rocks on you. If you want to go to stallish route, a suitable replacement could be Substitute + Disable. Basically let the opponent break your sub, then disable their attack. I also support the suggestion of Overheat over Flamethrower. Ninetales is usually busy supporting so it rarely gets the chance to attack (let alone twice). When you do need to attack, the extra power is really useful.

I know Dugtrio is for taking out Weather inducers, but it's a bit predictable tbh. Opposing weather teams will be gunning for it before sending out their weather inducer. You could use Mixed Shiftry over Duggy. Shiftry can OHKO ever weather inducer with the approprite attack, plus you get another sun abuser.
Shiftry @ Life Orb
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 44 Atk / 252 SAtk / 212 Spe
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Sucker Punch
- Low Kick

more details on the Shiftry can be found on my RMT in my sig :p

good luck with your team!

Hey man pretty cool team you got going here. I don't see much that needs absolute change, but I think although Choice Band Dugtrio is a passable set, you might see more use out of Sash-Reversal Dugtrio. First off, this is a lot more reliable in taking out Tyranitar if it's at full health. Secondly, it can be used as a safety check to some things that have set up and are now rampaging through your team. Third, when playing against rain, its safer to play with if you end up paired off against things like Scarf Politoed. Oh and most importantly, you now have a backup weather changer if you ever lose Ninetales, which is especially important for a sun team. Again, not a NEEDED change, but definitely something I think you should play around with and test. Good luck! Here's the set:

(Dugtrio) (M) @ Focus Sash

EVs: 252 Atk / 32 Def / 224 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Reversal
- Stone Edge / Stealth Rock
- Sunny Day
