Well hi there I have been playing in the RU tier for about 3 months now and im sad to say that certain pokemon are extremely over used in the tier but then again this happens in all tiers i think it defeats the purpose of RU honestly so i decided to make a team that defies all logic and goes against what RU has become feel free to comment leave me some helpful advice but under no circumstances should you feel the need to tell me to use better pokes in RU if you do i will ignore your advice so here the team building process... skip to the bottom if you want to see the team!!!
Team Building:
Ok like I said earlier I wanted to make a team that could still function but not use hardly any common pokemon in RU so i started off with this...
Well if you couldnt guess by looking this team didnt last very long mostly because of an overwhelming weakness to physical sweepers and ground so i replaced some members and came up with...
Well not much to say except i kept facing the same problems so i tried a more defensive approach...
Well after testing this I concluded that my problem was the weakness to ground but this team didnt work either because i was lacking recipients of shell smash and i found myself having to rely on gorebyss to sweep rather than pass so i changed up the members one more time...
This is the team Im currently testing and so far its doing pretty darn good considering its members the one problem im finding is a slight weakness to ferroseed but i cant bring myself to bring in a fire type just to take it out... Ok so now we are down to the teammates themselves!
EpicTroll (Pachirisu) (M) @ Leftovers

So pachirisu here is my team's designated special wall and to be honest she does a pretty darn good job. Coupling with exegutor as a physical wall pachirisu does an excellent job at taking special hits and scoring an easy paralysis with discharge. Pachirisu can take 2 timid max special attack bug buzzes from yanmega and then nearly 2hko always 2hko after SR damage.

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Switcheroo

Seviper is the main sweeper of the team just because i prefer him over arbok (dont ask me why i just do) basically seviper switcheroo's an opponent and then tries to set up this works even better after recieving a smash pass seviper does fine as a stand alone scarf user as well outspeeding many threats in the tier and revenging them basically just a great revenger and reciever of smash pass

EVs: 108 HP / 200 Def / 200 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Destiny Bond
Wynaut here puts the icing on the cake the cherry on top whatever its awesome. Wynaut basically sets up Seviper to take the game home with encore. The evs are set up so that it can take one adamant flare blitz from entei and one tri attack from choice scarf porygon-z and then easily ko the pokemon with counter or mirror coat Destiny Bond is just there as a filler mostly i hardly ever use it but when i play it out right its an awesome savior to my teams mediocre defensive stats

Pretty much a standard set not a whole lot to say except for the fact that this crazy girl sweeps more often than anything on my team sorry for the lack of detail but i mean lets be honest there isnt a whole lot to say

Exeggutor is my defensive wall that pairs with pachi covering most of its fatal flaws mostly its weakness to ground and its fairly poor physical defense. Exeggutor can take almost any physical hit in the tier aside from banded flare blitz and then dish loads of damage with psychic or giga drain. Exeggutor also keeps the team looking healthy with leech seed and hepls the sweep get set up using sleep powder. Exeggutor is also a fine recipient of smash pass due to its well over average special attack and mediocre speed stat
Chimp Chomp (Granbull) (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Quick Feet
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Facade
- Earthquake
- Crunch
Granbull is pretty much the brute force of the team yes i know its 100% outclassed at what it does by ursaring and swellow but like i said im trying to be original and besides once granbull recieves a smash pass it pretty much is game over unless my opponent stalls out the toxic turns
So that is my team its still a work in progress so feel free to give out any advice or whatever but just dont suggest any new members that are common in RU because like ive said i think like 3 times now I DONT WANT TO USE COMMON RU POKES. Haha ok well cya guys next time
