Pixilate Boomburst Scream Tail functions as a bulky utility option and a potentially powerful setup threat. With Boomburst, Scream Tail can topple many threats such as Dragonite, Great Tusk, and Roaring Moon, making it far less passive than most walls. Calm Mind lets it serve as a bulky wincon, while Flamethrower deters Steel-types like Gholdengo from switching in and Stealth Rock lets it make progress against foes it cannot threaten like Ice Scales Clodsire. Scream Tail's great matchup into common Dark-, Fighting-, and Dragon-types makes it a great partner for offensive teammates that struggle with those foes, like Iron Bundle, Garchomp, and Iron Treads. Scream Tail struggles with Poison- and Fire-types such as Clodsire and Volcarona, as well as Steel-types if it does not run Flamethrower, so teammates such as Iron Bundle and Iron Treads are appreciated.

[SET COMMENTS]
Defensive Scream Tail serves as an answer to Fighting- and Dragon-types such as Iron Hands and Dragonite. Encore locks Pokemon into moves that they do not want to be locked into, such as Volcarona with Quiver Dance or Morning Sun, Blissey into Soft-Boiled, and Avalugg into Recover. Alternatively, Stealth Rock can be ran if the team needs entry hazard support. Fur Coat is the most common ability, but Regenerator allows it to better check opposing pivots like Iron Hands; alternatively, Prankster Encore can be used to deter opposing setup attempts. Scream Tail serves as a defensive answer to Fighting- and Dragon-types, so Pokemon such as Blissey and Kingambit are appreciated. It is unable to check several common physical attackers like Ceruledge and Kingambit, so secondary physically defensive teammates like Regenerator Iron Hands are appreciated.

Pixilate Boomburst Scream Tail Functions as a phenomenal wallbreaker bulky and potentially powerful utility and setup threat. With Boomburst, Scream Tail can topple many of AAA's threats, such as Dragonite, Great Tusk, and Roaring Moon, making it far less passive than most walls. Calm Mind provides setup opportunities against more passive threats such as Blissey. Flamethrower is an alternative that can strike against Steel Types that resist Boomburst such as Gholdengo, Corviknight, and Iron Treads. Stealth Rock is an alternative that can be run if the team needs Stealth Rock support Calm Mind lets it serve as a bulky wincon, while Flamethrower deters Steel-types like Gholdengo from switching in and Stealth Rock lets it make progress against foes it cannot threaten like Ice Scales Clodsire. Wish and Protect is run to ensure that Scream Tail gets reliable recovery. The EV Spread is to ensure an easier time setting up with Calm Mind. While an alternative spread of 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe can be used for more offense, Scream Tail has a harder time setting up with Calm Mind. don't need to explain obvious moves like recovery or max/max EV spreads in a mini Scream Tail deals with Dark, Fighting, and Dragon Types well, so Iron Bundle, Garchomp, and Iron Treads appreciate Scream Tail removing these threats Scream Tail's great matchup into common Dark-, Fighting-, and Dragon-types makes it a great partner for offensive teammates like Iron Bundle, Garchomp, and Iron Treads that struggle with those foes. Scream Tail struggles with Poison and Fire types Poison- and Fire-types such as Clodsire and Volcarona, as well as Struggling against Steel types without Steel-types if it does not run Flamethrower, so teammates such as Armarouge, and the aforementioned Iron Bundle and Iron treads are appreciated.

Defensive Scream Tail serves as an answer to the tier's Fighting and Dragon types Fighting- and Dragon-types such as Iron Hands and Dragonite. Dazzling Gleam provides a solid hit against many Pokemon who are weak to Fairy. Encore could be run to lock Pokemon into moves that they do not want to be locked into, such as Volcarona with Quiver Dance or Morning Sun, Blissey into Soft-Boiled, or and Avalugg into Recover. Alternatively, Stealth Rock can be ran if the team needs entry hazard support. Wish and Protect can be ran for recovery, although Protect can be forgone for Encore if the Scream Tail is running Stealth Rock. Fur Coat doubles Scream Tail's defenses, making more effective as a defensive Pokemon. Regenerator could also be ran to ensure that Scream Tail recovers some HP upon switching out. Prankster makes it so that Scream Tail can encore faster threats such as Quiver Dance Volcarona Fur Coat is the most common ability, but Regenerator allows it to better check opposing pivots like Iron Hands and Prankster Encore effectively locks out opposing setup attempts. Scream Tail serves as a defensive answer to Fighting and Dragon types Fighting- and Dragon-types, so Pokemon such as Blissey and Kingambit appreciate Scream Tail's defensive profile. It is unable to check several common physical attackers like Ceruledge and Kingambit, so secondary physically defensive teammates like Regenerator Iron Hands are appreciated.
