Hello, denizens of Smogon! This is a team whose design is centered around Greek mythology. Cuz Greco-Roman religion is cool. See my username.
Basically, it's centered around a bulky Mega Scizor and abuses ability-granted immunities to hopfully counteract Mega Scizor's counters. In fact, every 'mon except for Scizor itself has an immunity.
Changes are in bold.

Stymphalia (Skarmory) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
Impish Nature
- Defog
-
- Brave Bird
- Roost
Based on the Stymphalian birds, gigantic avians with steel feathers.
Skarmory's main role on the team is to prevent entry hazards from getting in the way. The team's playstyle is centered around switches, so even a single layer of spikes gets annoying when almost a third of the games played by this team are 100+ turns long. Skarmory also deals with fairies, fighting-types, and Pinsir.
Toxic is more useful for a tank like Skarmory.

Scorpio (Scizor) @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 44 Atk / 248 HP / 100 SDef / 116 Def
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
Based on the constellation Scorpio, the metallic insect that killed Orion.
The star of the team. Mega Scizor is remarkably bulky, and it has ample time to set up. Anecdotally, this set has survived Fire Blasts from Garchomp and Tyranitar (although the latter was in sand). It's not uncommon to be able to Roost off enough damage to maximize attack and 6-0. Scizor's Bullet PUnch really is amazing, and it does help remedy the godawful speed stat. Knock off is mostly for Steel-types like Aegislash and Ferrothorn. Its main weakness is Heatran, which is countered by...Heatran.

Heffy (Heatran) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 236 Spe / 112 HP / 160 SpA
Timid Nature
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Electric]
Based on Hephaestus, the god of the forge and volcanoes.
Heatran is awesome. Now that Drizzle has been nerfed, it roams free in OU, fearing only bulky Water-types and itself. Heatran is here to absorb Fire Blasts and save Scizor. The moveset hits lots of things for Super Effective damage. Notably, Dragonite and Quagsire give this set great trouble, but both are dealt with by Vaporeon quite effectively. I'm not sure about the item - Air Balloon and Choice Specs both seem attractive as well, but Choice Scarf allows Heatran to outspeed enemy Heatran and KO with Earth Power.
The new EV spread allows Heatran to outspeed the base 120 tier.

Telekhine (Vaporeon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald
- Toxic
Based on the telekhine, an aquatic dog-headed, fin-tailed creature.
Vaporeon is freaking amazing. It replenishes the whole team's health with Wish, destroys pretty much every physical attacker, absorbs the inevitable Hydro Pumps and Scalds aimed at Heatran, and Toxic-Stalls almost everything else. The main problem with Vaporeon is inability to do anything to Blissey and Chansey - both shake off Scald burns and Toxic with their abilities, and Scald does pitiful damage anyway to dedicated Special walls.

Apollo (Lanturn) @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 SAtk / 252 HP / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Heal Bell
- Scald
Based on the sun god Apollo, whose signature animal was the dolphin.
Lanturn has got to be the trolliest Water-type in existence. Although I doubted the benefits of having two Water-types on the team, the only weakness that Vaporeon and Lanturn share is Grass, and every other team member resists it. Lanturn serves to take Electric attacks aimed at Vaporeon and the omnipresent Thunder Wave. Also, status tends to be an issue in extended stall battles, so I threw Heal Bell in there as well. I debated the merits of a Parafusion set (Discharge+Confuse Ray), but I scrapped it because Lanturn's stats aren't strong enough. The standard BoltBeam combo does well enough.

Hydra (Hydreigon) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 Atk
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Superpower
- Flamethrower
Based on the Lernean Hydra.
Hydreigon is probably the least useful member of the team, which is ironic since it has the highest base stats. It often gets switch-ins on Earthquakes aimed at Lanturn and Heatran, and it does have a massively powerful Draco Meteor. However, it's dispatched fairly easily, and it suffers from 4-moveslot syndrome. And it hates Fairies. A lot. Since it doesn't deal with any threats in particular better than its teammates, I'm wondering whether there's a better set that I can use.
Not sure what I was thinking before - Speed is now maxed out.
So that's the team! Thanks for reading, and I hope that I can improve the team with your help. I'll update on the success of this team on the ladder.
