Seeing as my Metallica RMT didn't go over too well with some people, I decided to revise my team and post a new one. So, here's that RMT.
Changes in bold.
Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Pressure
EV Spread: 252 Attack/252 Speed/6 HP
Moves:
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Taunt
Stealth Rock
This set has worked very well for me. The only real problem I have here is Deoxys-S running the Taunt/Reflect set. Other than that, I can easily incapacitate Bronzongs, and set up Stealth Rock on others. Probably the most important role on the team, being the starter and all.
Infernape @ Life Orb
Nature: Naive
Ability: Blaze
EV Spread: 252 Special Attack/232 Speed/24 Attack
Moves:
Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Close Combat
Hidden Power [Ice]
The mixer of the team. This guy can sweep through teams like a fat person eating a taco. This set needs some help however - I can't decide on whether or not to keep ThunderPunch, or get rid of it for Grass Knot.
Gengar @ Petaya Berry
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Levitate
EV Spread: 252 Speed/192 Special Attack/64 Attack
Moves:
Focus Punch
Substitute
Shadow Ball
Hypnosis
This set is also a great one to run on Gengar. Hypnosis allows me to set up a Sub on the switch, then I can simply hit everything in the game for neutral with Focus Punch and Shadow Ball. Focus Punch is simply here so I can kill the Blisseys that come my way.
Blissey @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Natural Cure
EV Spread: 252 HP/252 Defense/6 Special Defense
Moves:
Aromatherapy
Ice Beam
Softboiled
Thunder Wave
Basically the staple on my team. This pink nurse has been with me since G/S/C, and she will continue to be (until Smogon bans her too! XP) Ice Beam is there for ghosts that would normally wall me. Thunder Wave helps cripple things like Gengar and Froslass, and Softboiled is for recovery. Aromatherapy is to heal all the Pokemon that are crippled by statuses.
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Water Absorb
EV Spread: 188 HP/252 Defense/68 Special Attack
Moves:
Surf
Hidden Power [Electric]
Wish
Protect
This is the physical wall of the team. This can take Water hits that are headed towards Aerodactyl and Infernape, and can take care of Gyarados easily. Surf hits a lot of things for at least neutral, and Hidden Power Electric hits aforementioned Gyarados. The only thing that really ruins this set is Celebi, but Infernape can take care of that.
Porygon-Z @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Timid
Ability: Adaptibility
EV Spread: 252 Special Attack/252 Speed/6 HP
Moves:
Dark Pulse
Tri Attack
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
The revenge killer/special attacker of the group. This thing has cleaned up after all the mess has been made, and has done a terrific job at doing it. Tri Attack is simply ridiculous when paired with Adaptibility, and Dark Pulse hits those pesky Ghost switch-ins. Ice Beam and Thunderbolt get BoltBeam coverage. The only thing that this set doesn't hit for at least neutral is Magnezone (which you don't see very often in OU anyway...)
Anyway guys, thanks for reading, and I really appreciate any help that I get. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
Thanks!!
