Since my council is unable to do me a solid and write something for me despite being as qualified (exept for dunfan hes cool :]), I guess it falls on me to do the a ranking of Inheritance's gamers. I will not use specific numbers to give them a rating, Instead ill separate them into vague, unordered tiers and use my words to describe the gamers. Do keep in mind i value tier knowledge since its a relatively hard meta to learn and its still solidifying its playerbase.

MidjouMid is a pretty great Inh player and knows the meta and builds fun and its a fine presence and all that. they had a pretty good showing in the inheritour that got cut short by the illest guy in the block. def has come a long way from last year. pretty good!

Gary is/was a ladder gremlin, who has held the top position multiple times and played consistently since the very beginning. He has as deep a knowledge of the tier as many of the players above him. However, I feel like his building style is made to cheese little timmies on ladder and cteam whatever is my favorite offensive core is at the moment, and in general I have only seen him build stall and dedicated sun teams when drought was freed. As far as I know he also has no real tour experience. You should probably pair this guy with someone with more tour experience to help channel his knowledge into a wider array of builds.
Dunfan (who should sign up to play)
Dunfan is a current Inheritance councilmember, and for the longest time he was the only guy who responded to what i posted on the Inh channel in OMcord. He 100% thinks about inh all the time and has lots and lots of tier knowledge. He doesnt have any tour experience though, and has some issues coalessing his knowledge into good teams. But the biggest flaw he has for the draft id say is the fact that he hasnt actually signed up. This is actually the first guy you should invite to your team disc after the draft ends, if he doesnt sign up, so that you can get him on teambuilding help and get em to agree to a Unspoken NDA so that he doesnt help no one else.
Schpoonman aka batsol
batsol ive seen around on ladder a lot, and he did win the Inheritour. He has a lot of knowledge of the metagame, which is in short supply, but ive never been personally impressed by any of their teams, and rewatching the tapes for inheritour, he very much has One style of team he likes. I also felt like he was very likely to "accept his fate (negative)" when playing. Not to discredit the guy, he did win after all, but I do believe that he might need some help to prevent him to getting cteamed 7 weeks in a row.

akira got to semis in the Inheritour while learning on the fly, so that gives a lot of promise. They seem to be pretty good at the game in general. However, they got there with some of the whackest builds ive seen in my life (who tf runs manual rain??), so they could use some more sane teammates to ground their builds. Also apparently people are saying to not draft them to play inh first for some other tier? whats "bee aych"? Im freezing down here whos thinking of going to the beach?
Byleth (who doesnt seem to want to play)
In the offchance Byleth goes on a bender and, in a drunken stupor, decides to sign up, I feel like I should comment on her Inh skills. After all, she did get to top of the ladder pretty recently after only playing for a few months, and is generally a very skilled player. However, me personally I would not draft her. Not because shes bad or because shes toxic or anything. Its just.... her builds..... She builds stall, but the sets that she uses are like not build by a human being, they feel like they came from a lovecraftian entity. Looking at her pokepastes makes me feel uneasy, like this isnt what masuda nor chaos thought of when thinking about what pokemon should be. Theyre teams I feel whose RMTs would be found inside the pages of the Necronomicon, and reading them would make you die or go insane.

She was the previous TL last gen until she stepped down late in the gen, and hasnt played since early gen 9. Im pretty sure you will not be able to convince her to be your main player for any tier, so id keep that in mind too.
