Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 | Week 7 | Semifinals | Finals
Information Thread | Roster | Schedule | Standings | Replays

It is recommended to play all games on SmogTours in the most current version of the format corresponding to those listed above. Games can be played on the Pokemon Showdown main server, but run higher risk of interference from server restarts/crashes.

Scheduling
Scheduling should be done on Smogon Profile walls, plain and simple:
- If there is communication on only one user's behalf, the win will go to them. Feel free to call activity in this thread beforehand
- If there is a very healthy back and forth regarding potential times and one user is a no-show, a manager may take the opportunity to sub out the no-show competitor; if this is not done, the user that showed up responsibly will be awarded the win.
TL;DR: Post on your opponent's Smogon wall, schedule your matches, and be reliable. If you can't play for any reason, let your manager know so they can sub you out ASAP.

Sportsmanship
Exhibitions of unsportsmanlike conduct with regards to the Other Metagame Premier League will be met with an infraction at the discretion of the OMPL host/OM mods. This is unlikely to include interactions within a team's private chat unless there is reason found to make an exception. This rule is meant to protect other users from being publicly flamed/bashed/provoked by another competitor for the duration of and following the tournament.
All players must complete their matches by the given deadline. Any incomplete matches by that time will be subject to an activity decision (MAKE SURE YOU POST ON YOUR OPPONENT'S WALL); otherwise, it will be a deadgame. All matches should ideally be done on your most notable alt to avoid confusion and all match replays must be saved and posted in this thread.

Substitutions & Lineups
Managers, if you wish to make any substitutions, you must post here tagging both the player you're subbing out, the player you're subbing in, the manager and assistant manager of the opposing team, the substitute's opponent, and all of the hosts. This is to assure that everyone is in-the-loop and that the OP is updated accordingly to reflect the new match-up.
Managers, when you send in lineups, please send it in with the tier and Smogon username of each player fully written out for ease of transcription.

BH: Quinn (25) vs cityscapes (75)
Quinn piloted well last week but that was against Lazzerpenguin's suspicious offense team. Cityscapes is Cityscapes.
BH: XxLazzerpenguinxX (30) vs quojova (70)
Quojova is clearly not struggling to get right back into the flow of BH and they have always been pretty consistent so I don't expect Sevag to pull out a cheese win and in an honest game I'd still give the edge to Quo.
BH: Ballfire (60) vs Treeko928 (40)
I will remain a Ballfire believer despite the loss to city, since that was one of the hardest opponents in the pool and he still put up a good fight.

Went 0-3 last week hopefully this curse will not continue because I'm actually betting on the people I want to win

Bo3 BH

Bo3: fififlutters (35) vs damflame 3 (65)
Damflame brought heat last week while Fiora had to get lucky against Clas, go france!
Bo3: Clas (55) vs Icemaster (45)
Clas will win BH but lose the set.
Bo3: Mindnight (20) vs Ivar57 (80)
Ivar cracked at the game.

:virizion: W VIRIZZIONS (5) vs (3) Commanders :tatsugiri:
AAA: shiloh vs RoFnA - this week's revolving door sees rofna in the AAA slot. shiloh played very well last week though and has the better builder so i think he can take this
AAA: Betticus IV vs crow crumbs - betticus is another very strong opponent, although hopefully the matchup in game will be a little bit kinder for bird this week
BH: Quinn vs cityscapes - quinn played very well last week but it would be strange not to back cityscapes
STAB: Fusien vs Clem - clem got fairly unlucky last week and maybe with the mainer diff they can eek out a win
MnM: emoxu9 vs Axzel - maybe this is a bit of a controversial take given how the results rolled last week around but i don't know how comfortable axzel is going to be with clicking
GG: pannu vs Fc - genuinely would not be surprised if pannu went 7-0, i don't think there is a better gg player rn especially when backed by grey
PiC: NovaFish21 vs HiZo - might be weird bolding against ssnl champ but HiZo has a lot of tricks up their sleeve
Bo3: fififlutters vs damflame 3 - damflame did win last week but fiora put up the far more dominant performance. i probably back them to win in MnM and GG, and they have played BH as well so damflame is going to have to work for a result

:dialga: Crazy Diamond Dialgas (4) vs (4) Zoomer Zeraoras :zeraora:
AAA: O1V7O2X9O vs Siamato - o1 has a lot more momentum and siamato appears to be fairly out of it. wouldn't count the frenchman out but i think this is a fairly uncontroversial prediction
AAA: GlalieGoesBoom vs Lana - glalie put up a wonderful performance last week and i actually think they have a very good chance of taking this. however lana is semi-unwashed so it won't be easy for them
BH: XxLazzerpenguinxX vs quojova - quojova played a very nasty game last week and sevaag didn't play all that well. based on that alone quo is the favourite but never count the penguin out
STAB: word vs Kaif - kaif brought an interesting team last week. word looked very strong and seems to be up to speed with what stabmons looks like today
MnM: PociekMociek vs TectonicDestroyer - placu played an extremely strong game last week while tect played an extremely dodgy endgame. if tect gets a very good mu he can win but placu is always favoured
GG: Nashrock vs Fraise - nashrock had the closer game
PiC: DeepFriedMagikarp vs zoe - dfm is an incredible player but zoe is going to be a struggle for dfm to take
Bo3: Clas vs Icemaster - both of these players had fairly poor w1 showings. clas needs to lock in if he wants to take this

:ponyta-galar: Pink Ponyta Club (4) vs (4) Heart Takers :manaphy:
AAA: Glory vs ghostlike - glory had such a dominant showing last week that i'd be insane not to bold him
AAA: feen vs Stareal - battle of the clickers
BH: Ballfire vs Treeko928 - a little bit of revolving doors here sees treeko take up the bh mantle. he has decent support while ballfire seems to be by himself, so i think the takers are favoured here
STAB: xdRudi.exe vs SammyCe123 - i don't want to count sammy out here but rudi is extremely good at STAB
MnM: Slither Wing vs hayedenn - i think this could go either way but hayedenn defo is favoured on paper
GG: Lily vs entrocefalo - lily is not only a stronger clicker but also much more proficient in the metagame, i'd be surprised if she doesn't take it
PiC: Chromate vs Frixel - frixel definitely can take this but chromate is going to be a tough one to beat for him
Bo3: Mindnight vs Ivar57 - i hope mindnight can find their footing in this set but ivar is so incredibly proficient at all of the metagames on display.

:diancie: Dazzling Diancies (5)
vs (3) Gholden Witches :gholdengo:
AAA: Kinetic vs Atha - think this is definitely a highlight matchup. atha is obviously favoured but kinetic is similarly strong at the game and i see this going in kinetic's favour if he gets the matchup right
AAA: Mada vs pyu - this is a slightly insane predict but pyu didn't have a great showing last week, so it sort of depends on the matchup they loadd
BH: Wheaty vs Akira 153 - akira got off to a bad start last week but managed to play extremely well afterwards. wheaty got one turn wrong but otherwise played spectacularly. i think wheaty being a bit of an underdog might give them a boost here but definitely not counting akira out becos she is obviously great at the game
STAB: abriel vs One Last Kiss - OLK starts in place of baddy this week - one clicker for another. however, abriel is an excellent clicker in her own right and is also way more in tune with stabmons. depending on what olk loads this could be a very tough week
MnM: zastra vs Career Ended - zastra played exceptionally well to earn a win last week in spite of some rough luck. they are going to make things difficult for career but on paper i think there is a clear favoured player
GG: LBN vs Starshine. - starshine played very well last week and i don't see any reason that can't continue
PiC: yuki vs SeaLife - yuki wins these
Bo3: TTTech vs QT - this is the matchup of the week. i think tttech takes gg, qt probably takes mnm, and then it comes down to who can win BH. incredibly tough to predict but i slightly favour qt

WEEK 2 PREDICTS
Now that W1 is done I have knowledge on players so I'll try to base my predicts based on that and I might say that I found you bad which is probably true but also I don't play so who cares of my opinion
also 11/23 good predicts last week so I'm always right, just cope

:virizion: W VIRIZZIONS (5) vs (3) Commanders :tatsugiri:
AAA: shiloh vs RoFnA - shiloh got smoked by O1V last week but idt they played bad the MU just sucked into specs ghold / scarf meow. RoFnA did a strong showing for his comeback so they may not be washed but having to relearn multiple metas in such a short time might affect their performance. Curious to see how they'll perform in AAA, but for now I'm giving the edge to shiloh
AAA: Betticus IV vs crow crumbs - criminal team by crow crumbs last week and they got smoked by Glory pretty hard, and I probably wouldn't have bold them in another match up, but even though Betticus is a good player and a good builder I feel like they do not like to play in tournaments most of the time and idk if it's their choice to play or if it's managers' choice but I think they might choke ; with a 2nd week in the bag, I think crumbs will have a better grasp on the meta and get the win here
BH: Quinn vs cityscapes - ok so I do not understand BH but I saw that sevag got DESTROYED by Quinn last week with solid plays (even though sevag brought Tapu Koko so like they threw in the builder). However, I feel like city's crazyness might be too hard to anticipate for a still relatively unexperienced BH player (I think??) and like she's so good. I can see the path of an upset though due to Quinn's strong showing W1
STAB: Fusien vs Clem - Clem got a bit unlucky week 1 but he brought a boring ass team so I won't bold him until he brings cool teams. Fusien clicked really well despite a bad MU in Mamoswine so I'm eager to see more and will give them the edge here
MnM: emoxu9 vs Axzel - mehh idk wasn't too impressed by emoxu last week but also I'm not sure how in touch with meta Axzel is and even if they are, they're still prone to mistakes. I will give the edge to emoxu bc they did fine for a first time in mnm but I'm not too convinced
GG: pannu vs Fc - otherwhise pannu is gonna cry. I kinda want to see more of Fc too but they got two tough opponents for the first two weeks so it's not an easy start
PiC: NovaFish21 vs HiZo - i don't understand pic but Novafish got 6-0'd and HiZo said themselves they threw & lost despite some heavy luck at the start of their game. i'll give the edge to HiZo bc it happens to throw (hi Zeraoras) and they can do better now, while I have no idea if Novafish got smoked bc they're bad or bc they loaded in bad MU or something
Bo3: fififlutters vs damflame 3 - damflame COULD have lost vs Mindnight and got absolutely destroyed in MnM, I can't bold him until he proves me wrong, sry :c not a too hard w1 for fififlutters so I'm waiting to see her skills into stronger oppositions, but for now she has the edge

:ponyta-galar: Pink Ponyta Club (5) vs (3) Heart Takers :manaphy:
AAA: Glory vs ghostlike - ugliest team of the year by ghostlike, can't bold that fraud ; if Glory wins this one in the same manner than W1 though they'll def climb up to the top 3 of the pool in my eyes though, but ghostlike is a much tougher opponent so let's see if they can repeat their performance
AAA: feen vs Stareal - im ngl i kinda clicked through their replays but I feel like Stareal clicked pretty well so I would give them the edge
BH: Ballfire vs Treeko928 - honestly impressed by Ballfire's games against city (from what I understand of BH ofc), ngl those were close and fun games. Treeko is supposed to be a good BH player but I don't know them enough so i'm gonna put my trust on Ballfire
STAB: xdRudi.exe vs SammyCe123 - better player in a tour setup, Sammy got smoked last week and I think rudi is a better builder and player here
MnM: Slither Wing vs hayedenn - not a fan of Bonk's game last week, hayedenn is hayedenn and I'm probably gonna bold them every week despite their stupid teams
GG: Lily vs entrocefalo - better play by far
PiC: Chromate vs Frixel - Chromate is still the PiC goat for me, Frixel lost to someone I didn't know was playing PiC so
Bo3: Mindnight vs Ivar57 - ngl Mind did surprisingly well last week but Ivar is a much tougher opponent than Damflame and will smoke Mindnight in 2, sorry not sorry

:diancie: Dazzling Diancies (3) vs (5) Gholden Witches :gholdengo:
AAA: Kinetic vs Atha - Kinetic should have lost last week had Siamato not forget to calc, kinda embarrasing against a washed-ass player. Atha got stalled with his girl next to him and had the nerves to win a tough MU in 45mn despite that, this guy is just built different
AAA: Mada vs pyu - bad showing by both W1 but pyu still lacks tour experience and can improve while Mada has tour exp and made very surprisingly plays, have to give the edge to the player who can improve the most even if in rough skills Mada is prob a bit above
BH: Wheaty vs Akira 153 - if BH council bans Spirit Shackle, it's a free win for Akira.. more seriously, wheaty had pretty good odds to beat quo last week and got "outplayed" with his mega chomp but honestly it was also a bit lucky by quo. Akira threw against Ivar then made a masterclass to comeback (I skipped those turns I do NOT know if she played well or if Ivar threw or if both and anyway I do not understand BH), will give the edge to Wheaty bc I was sweating watching his game last week
STAB: abriel vs One Last Kiss - abriel was solid W1, no idea of One Last Kiss in stabs so uhn let's see
MnM: zastra vs Career Ended - zastra should never have been in a position to lose his game last week and threw and then tect just threw harder but honestly Career won't make those kind of mistakes, they're just a better player I think
GG: LBN vs Starshine. - I liked Starshine plays last week but I still lack knowledge on the GG playerbase, let's see
PiC: yuki vs SeaLife - better player I guess but none of them played w1 so what am I suppoed to do :(
Bo3: TTTech vs QT - mhmhmh tough one, QT proved that they were still a major threat by winning 2 vs Sammy but TTTech did the same against a strong opponent, i still value QT's skills a bit higher so I'll give them the edge

can't wait for Redflix MnM review of the week (hopefully players will do it for other tiers too <3)

:zamazenta: :sinistcha::corviknight::manaphy::iron moth::garchomp: vs :manaphy::meowscarada: :zamazenta: :gholdengo: :corviknight: :landorus:
Shiloh is loading an interesting e-terrain x screens hyper offense vs o1 with a fairly standard mana corv balance
On preview, Shiloh's Iron Moth (if it is agility) and SD Scale Garchomp look very threatening to the defensive core of mana/corv/lando, with o1 needing to deny giving them the right opportunity. However o1's scarf meowscarda can outspeed and ohko most of their team, if screens arent up.

Game starts off with corv dying yet getting up screens vs a specs gholdengo, giving sinistcha a free setup on tbolt. O1 trades their spdef corv for a defog, scaring out sinis with meow leading to a sacked iron moth. From here scarf Meowscarda is looking like a massive threat. Landorus trades for Zamazenta, and with no more screens it is an easy cleanup for Scarf Meowscarada. Love seeing my baby surge surfer sinistcha get used even if it didnt win and even if it was vs my teammate. O1 prioritizing removing screens asap led them to the win.
:primarina: :corviknight: :moltres: :kingambit: :great tusk: :latios: vs :roaring moon: :ting-lu: :great tusk: :zamazenta: :pecharunt: :empoleon:
Friends matchup w1?
matte here has a regen primarina balance with the wallbreakers of latios and kingambit, vs Glalie with a tinglu empoleon hazard stack.
On preview the combination of tinglu/empoleon + double fighting seem to have most of matte's team walled, but depending on sets and positioning their team may have enough tools to win.

By turn 4, primarina has been chipped down to 34 + rocks up vs a wandering spirit empoleon, leaving it unlikely to be of much further use and leaving zamazenta scary. This however means empoleon is not volt absorb, and the latios could break. Fast intimidate pecharunt is revealed to spin block matte's tusk, however takes a lot from headlong. As rmoon is Glalie's only fire resist, the moltres gets to troll and wisp/chip everybody this match but has to trade its boots to do so. Pech gets sacked on another headlong, and then Glalie reveals earth eater tusk, winning him the hazard war. Moltres trolls for like another 20 turns or something until latios is finally in, and then tinglu reveals AV whelp. After switching around and chip CB zamazenta cleans up the rest, living the last ditch +4 kingambit.

Pretty tough mu for matte however a different kingambit set could have potentially won with the risky endgame lines from glalie

Glory bringing an ursa-bm balance vs crow crumbs with a pretty fat team, big garganacl in 2025?
On preview ursaluna bloodmoon looks very scary with crow crumbs lacking a strong offensive mon to hit it with, especially if its fluffy or the tusk lacks a fighting move. Crow crumbs doesn't have a clear way to victory, but they can potentially position and chip stuff down.

Game starts off with a bunch of positioning and scouting around but Glory gets off an early poison on garg and burn on rmoon, severely limiting their capacity to sit around and troll. Bloodmoon catchs tusk on a prediction and just drops it, and is looking poised to sweep. Glory slowly whittles every mon down with status and bloodmoon, taking the win.

Yeah mu was pretty cooked ngl, needed to have either an even more defensive team or commit to running some wallbreakers. Excited to see how Glory's season will be
:kingambit: :primarina: :iron treads: :zamazenta: :zapdos: :scream tail: vs :zamazenta: :roaring moon: :pecharunt: :corviknight: :ting-lu: :empoleon:
Here we have a very similar game to the matte vs glaliegoesboom one, with iride bringing what seems to be the same team as glalie.

Again an almost identical t1 this time with regen primarina fully dying this time to the empoleons helmet early on. However feen's scream tail puts in overtime getting rocks up, tricking and chipping empoleon down, and trading for the zamazenta. Coupled with a series of correct crunch reads killing the colbur berry pecharunt, feen's zamazenta now looks incredibly dangerous. This formed with Zapdos threathening everything else and uturning on ting-lu leads to a quick close combat cleanup.

I liked seeing feen's play after a disasterous lead scenario, with Iride's Zamazenta dead they could not mount a counter offense to feen's own unrelenting Zamazenta. Game could have been prolonged but losing every pecharunt vs crunch turn was not the way.

:sv/diancie: Dazzling Diancies vs Zoomer Zeraoras :sv/zeraora:

:ting-lu: :iron treads: :moltres: :pecharunt: :zamazenta: :latios: vs :glimmora: :corviknight: :roaring moon: :manaphy: :zamazenta: :scream tail:
More ting-lu balance vs a team of standards + glimmora that ended up being hidden screens HO

For most of the game Kinetic is able to pivot around the ho sweepers and revenge them all with scarf latios, having a pretty good HO matchup with ting-lu + latios. Siamoto cant really get anything started with Howl Zamazenta getting decent damage done but revenged by Latios. Meteor Beam glimmora looks scary and kills the ting-lu but also gets Latios'd. This is however important when Roaring Moon reveals DD sor life orb, snagging one dragon dance against a pecharunt that switched out in fear, and this mon literally just wins with a single DD despite Siamoto being downbad all game? Except he overthinks it and makes the car crash play of EQ'ing the levitate pecharunt and dying for it with the rest cleaning up.

Didn't love Siamoto's team, but liked the LO roaring moon a lot. I think DD is much better with immediate power than bulk.
They could have won this with more practice or more timer, as scouting the team and the revealed information in game, pecharunt had to be ground immunity. Either way, eq'ing does not prevent any losecons with the item revealed (no colbur) so you always knock here.
Kinetic got bailed hard, however they could have preserved the ting-lu earlier on, cutting off the roaring moon lose-con potentially
:meowscarada: :iron moth: :iron treads: :iron hands: :landorus-therian: :gholdengo: vs :roaring moon: :cinderace: :manaphy: :gliscor: :scream tail: :chien pao:

Mada brings a typical regenvest iron hands BO vs Lana's Chien-Pao offense
On preview Meowscarada and Iron Moth are big threats with decent walls into eevryone, however Lana's likely fluffy gliscor can wall half of Mada's team for free winning momentum and Chien Pao can be very dangerous if it gets past Iron Hands.

The first 20 or so turns nothing happens except pivot wars and scream tail dying, but Lana looping Mana + Gliscor on Hands lands the burn on it with scald. Gholdengo tbolt para's roaring moon but it doesnt matter as finally Chien Pao is in, rocks are up, and hands is chipped. It comes in and takes a big 44 from icicle crash into death, with it now being a race against Pao. However Meow not being scarfed makes it a hard race to win with Pao cleaning up after some sacks.

Hope to see the LANAGUINI redemption arc this season and beware CHIENMAO

More surge surfer sinistcha glazing YESSIR. Atha brings an evolution of his e-terrain offense, but this time as a more balanced spikestack. I really like it. He is also perhaps one of Sandy Shocks' last soldiers (i like this mon too). Ghostlike brings wierdo stall i cannot comment but i like seeing enamorus on my screen ig even if its on stall.
Allegedly a "friend" mu

131 turns goes on but the jist is Ghostlikes stall had no dedicated manaphy switch in, which enabled it to knock off the vest from treads.
From here non choiced Sandy Shocks vs no VA bird stall is a 100-0 mu, however Atha had to play a 100+ turns of getting turns right which i cant say i would be able to manage without getting bored.

Will atha get the 14-0 and go for 67k next ompl? we'll see

Now im excited for pyu this season, especially because i think he can build some cool and new stuff, however he just reuses a (good) old spikes lead deo HO. Stareal brings an interesting looking Deo / Pao Bo.

Game starts off with some pivoting around but max layers go up with a spinblocker gholdengo. However this ends up not mattering as everything important on Stareal's side has boots. Psea Landorus dispatchs of the Iron Moth and the Garchomp gets the 50/50 vs fairy + flying type wrong.
Stareal handily wins with a demonic super counterteam boots encore twave scream tail which completely shuts down the rest.
Scream tail has an evil set that should get you sent to guantanamo, perhaps this was the key?

Wanna see both of these players future matchs

[VRZ] Pannu vs Nashrock [CDD]
:skarmory::urshifu::slowking-galar::ogerpon-wellspring::great-tusk::calyrex-ice: vs :ogerpon-wellspring::eternatus::slowking-galar::electrode-hisui::landorus-therian::urshifu:
Very interesting matchup. Electrode looks very strong for Nashrock while Calyrex can take multiple knockouts if positioned correctly. Both Urshifu's are going to struggle to make progress - Pannu is running Rapid-Strike-Style which can only click U-Turn in front of most Eterns, and depending on the set Nashrock's Single-Strike is stopped by Tusk and Skarm. Both Ogerpons could also be scary if they have space to go for a Swords Dance if they have it, although in this theoretical scenario Nashrock's is far scarier since it is naturally faster than everything else (unfortunately, Nashrock does not have Swords Dance on this Ogerpon).

Turn 1 begins and Nashrock Knocks Slowking's HDB off, but is forced to take a Sludge Bomb on his Ogerpon, which is taken to yellow and poisoned. Slowking is allowed to chilly off the damage taken from Knock and brings in Tusk to respond with a Knock of its own, removing Lando's helmet. Lando brings in Electrode, which reveals Choice Specs as it Volts off the Slowking on turn 5 - Nashrock will have to time his Leaf Storm well in order to remove Tusk. Both players pivot around some more - on Turn 8 Nashrock gets Rocks with Landorus and Taunts Skarm on the following turn to prevent Pannu responding in kind. Nashrock then tries to call out a switch by bringing Electrode hard in, but it eats a Brave Bird that takes it into the yellow, although Skarm receives a Static paralysis in kind. This puts Nashrock fairly behind already, and his attempted Volt on the next time this into the Great Tusk switching in, allowing it to spin away Rocks. Nashrock brings his own Slowking in, allowing it to get Knocked as well. More pivoting ensues and Nashrock sacks his Ogerpon on Turn 16 to a Tusk Knock, allowing him to bring in Electrode safely.
Nashrock is able to make a little bit of progress on Slowking and Skarm by VoltTurn momentum between Urshifu (which reveals Protective Pads from U-Turning off Helmet Skarm) and Electrode, and forces Slowking's Dragon Terastallisation on Turn 20, allowing it to Chilly in front of Wicked Blow. Urshifu Taunts the Skarm the next turn preventing Rocks, before pivoting to Electrode. On turn 23, Electrode is positioned in front of Great Tusk and Nashrock goes on the offense, Terastallising to Ice and launching a Tera Blast, but Ogerpon switches in and lives. Pannu now can safely bring in Calyrex as Electrode is locked into Tera Blast Ice, and the move connects for a fifth of Calyrex's health. Calyrex is now able to grab a boost and OHKO Slowking - if Pannu clicked Trick Room here they probably won on the spot, but instead they are forced out by the Urshifu, and sack the Ogerpon. Urshifu-Rapid, which is holding Scarf, hits the field for the first time and U-Turns on the incoming Eternatus, bringing in Tusk, which starts to chip down Landorus. Eternatus comes back in, and Pannu decides to sack Skarmory as the Etern reveals LO. Tusk comes back in to revenge after having reset its lowered attack stat, finally claiming the Landorus. With two spins, Tusk outspeeds Electrode, and is too bulky for Nashrock to win the damage war, even with Tusk at -1, so Nashrock concedes the game a few turns later.

[VRZ] fififlutters vs Clas [CDD]
:ogerpon-wellspring::arceus-fairy::slowking-galar::Landorus::great-tusk::Urshifu: vs :goodra-hisui::talonflame::Vaporeon::zacian-crowned::great-tusk::hoopa-unbound:
This game was played for fun and probably at the benefit of the Dialgas, because the team Clas ends up bringing is extremely strange. Speed Hoopa is actually great, but Goodra, Talonflame and Vaporeon look so out of place. The team looks incredibly weak to Landorus, and is prone to losing to Urshifu and Ogerpon, but Zacian and Hoopa make for some saving graces.

Clas leads Talonflame into fiora's Tusk and immediately goes after it with Tera Flying Brave Bird, but it instead lands into the Slowking switching in, as it takes a little under 50% worth of damage. Clas taunts it and has to double out to their own Tusk, taking very little from Slowking's Sludge Bomb, and allowing him to get Rocks up as Arceus comes in. It grabs a Calm Mind as Goodra-Hisui switches in. With Calm Mind revealed, Goodra can evidently not win the 1v1 so Zacian is forced in early. It's fiora's turn to go on the offense however, Terastallising to Poison, taking less than half from Behemouth Blade and knocking Zacian out. Clas attempts to revenge with Hoopa Psychic but fiora reads this and brings Urshifu in. Fearing Scarf, Clas is forced to Vaporeon, allowing fiora to go to Ogerpon safely the next turn. Horn Leech lands into Sap Sipper Goodra so Tusk is forced to eat a Draco, but Vaporeon is forced out again, giving Ogerpon another free entry. This time, however, Vaporeon goes for Wish, giving Ogerpon the space to Swords Dance. Vaporeon cannot touch Ogerpon, which means Ogerpon can forever Knock, guaranteeing a kill or a lot of damage on whatever comes in. Goodra comes in on a Knock with Wish support, but takes 50% from Ivy Cudgel. Clas attempts to mindgame fiora with immunity abilities, but she clicks Ivy Cudgel on the second Goodra switchin, sealing its fate. Talonflame comes back in and claims Tusk, but this gives Arceus-Fairy entry into the game, and it kills Talonflame attempting to Taunt. Hoopa comes in and crits Thunderbolt on the incoming Urshifu, knocking it out in one hit. However, Landorus hits the field and here it is very obvious that it is Scarfed. Vaporeon hits the field but Landorus U-Turns into Ogerpon, and from here Clas is too far behind to make meaningful progress with Hoopa, and thus loses the game.

[PPC] Lily vs Fc [CMD]
:corviknight::ogerpon-wellspring::clefable::ho-oh::great-tusk::hatterene: vs :skarmory::darkrai::primarina::arceus-ghost::ting-lu::iron-hands:
Fc brings a standard team featuring Darkrai and Iron Hands while Lily brings a more unconventional structure, featuring Choice Band Ho-Oh! Hatterene looks scary for Fc to face given the only resist is Skarmory, and Ogerpon is additionally scary for Fc to face, while Hands is a massive threat to Lily's structure, with Clefairy having to fear an OHKO from Heavy Slam.
As an aside, lily is winning in the nicknames department this week as she displays an exquisite taste in culture

Lily leads Ho-Oh into Fc's Primarina and is forced into Ogerpon, who blocks a Flip Turn. Skarm comes in as Ho-Oh is pivoted in, and Fc decides to Terastallise into Dragon immediately - Fc doesn't know until this turn that Ho-Oh is Banded, so I can only assume that his Primarina has very little physical bulk and thus isn't a check to offensive Ho-Oh. Alternatively, he wants to preserve its HP for something else (maybe it's Haze to beat Hatt?). But this leaves Fc without a Fairy resist and 4 Fairy weaknesses, which is a strange play in retrospect, especially given that Lily has 2 Fairy types. Skarmory additionally takes a burn while laying down a layer of Spikes, before both players pivot away.
Lily brings in Corviknight, aiming to Defog, but this allows Fc's Arceus-Ghost to grab a Calm Mind boost. Corv then U-Turns on the second Calm Mind boost, bringing in Unaware Clefable, which takes little under half from Judgement and responds by paralysing Arceus, which was starting to look very threatening. Mutiple full paralyses allow Clefable to remain at full and begin chipping away at Arceus. Lily then calls when Arceus will recover, allowing Ho-Oh to hit the field safely and launch more attacks, earning a OHKO on the full health Arceus thanks to a fortunate crit. Fc is now a full mon behind and elects to go into Iron Hands, revealing Booster Speed. It goes for a Swords Dance on the incoming Tusk, but misses the KO with Ice Punch. Fortunately, Tusk missed the KO back, so Fc is able to Drain Punch the following turn to even up the game.
Clefable comes in next, and immediately Terastallises to Poison and heals itself, with Lily fearing Heavy Slam, but Iron Hands switches out and Primarina switches in. Clefable misses its Thunder Wave and takes little over 40 from Psychic Noise, so Lily elects to bring Ogerpon in, who takes some damage from another Psychic Noise. Lily, potentially reading for a switch, Cudgels into the Prim, but Fc stays and chunks Ogerpon into the red. Fc switches out the next turn but Lily now reveals Synthesis, keeping Ogerpon healthy for longer, and also meaning it very likely lacks Swords Dance. Ogerpon U-Turns out to Hatterene, expecting hazards to come, but Skarm instead Roosts. Lily then doubles to Ogerpon as Prim comes back in and catches it 2 turns later with Power Whip. Darkrai comes in to revenge, but at this point Hatterene comes back in and reveals Scarf, knocking out Darkrai immediately. Neither Iron Hands nor Skarmory can live a Dazzling Gleam, and Ting-Lu can't do much back, although Lily doubles out to be safe. After Ting-Lu takes just under half from a final Sacred Fire, there is nothing Fc can do to stop Lily from pivoting Hatterene in and claiming the victory.

Unconventional team from Lily but it ended up paying off very nicely with a great matchup and deserved win, with Ho-Oh actually maintaining longevity with a lack of hazards. After Terastallising Skarmory Fc was incredibly weak to Hatt and lost Arceus without making any progress with it. He also actually wasn't able to get Rocks up at all because Ting-Lu had basically no points of entry, which enabled Ho-Oh to play a lot more aggresively, and he wasn't able to find a route to victory.

[PPC] Mindnight vs damflame 3 [CMD]
:pecharunt::lokix::primarina::zacian-crowned::corviknight::urshifu: vs :sinistcha::araquanid::eternatus::manaphy::iron-treads::iron-hands:
This Bo3 set went all the way to game three. Mindnight brings a Zacian balance with Urshifu and Lokix as their main offensive partners, while damflame loads an Eternatus HO with Araq for webs support. Lokix might help in the matchup, but this looks incredibly one-sided otherwise - Manaphy and Eternatus are probably able to blow past most of this team alone, and Iron Hands can clean very easily if Pecharunt is sufficiently chipped. Additionally, Sinistcha is incredibly difficult for Mindnight to stop. Mindnight does have some offense but his defensive pieces look very vulnerable on matchup.

Mindnight leads Urshifu into Eternatus, and immediately doubles to Corviknight as damflame reveals LO Dynamax Cannon. Mindnight makes another double to Primarina, which takes the incoming Flamethrower well. Eternatus then recovers, allowing Primarina to Flip safely to Zacian. Mindnight then chooses to Terastallise to Ground, wanting to step on the gas. It's a risky play - having Tera online into HO is extremely important to always be able to stop a threat from sweeping your team. Mindnight wants the initiative here but Terastallising this early leaves them without a valuable resource. Araquanid switches in as Zacian grabs a boost, but Zacian misses the KO the following turn and Araquanid uses Scary Face to limit Zacian's ability to sweep. Araquanid dies and Webs won't go up as a result, but now Manaphy hits the field and is able to grab a Tail Glow on the Primarina that switches in. Energy Ball claims Primarina, and Urshifu comes in to revenge. However, it's damflame's turn to step on the gas, Terastallising to Fairy and living the incoming Close Combat, and claiming the Urshifu. Zacian comes back in and after a few doubles does claim the KO on Manaphy. Sinistcha comes in to stop Zacian making progress but can't stay in front of Lokix, and Eternatus comes in. Mindnight now has no safe switches and chooses to give up Lokix. Zacian comes back in and grabs a Swords Dance at the cost of half its health. But after it claims Eternatus, it misses the KO on Sinistcha, who saps back to full and begins to Calm Mind. Corv can't make any progress into it, but neither can Sinistcha, so damflame takes the initiative and brings Iron Hands in on a -3 Brave Bird and Swords Dances as Mindnight brings in Pecharunt. Mindnight then makes a final blunder, sacking Zacian to Iron Hands Earthquake, and the game is now over, as not even HP Pecharunt can live a +2 Booster Attack Iron Hands.

[DZD] LBN vs Fraise [ZMZ]
:ditto::arceus-ghost::clefable::corviknight::ting-lu::hydrapple: vs :ogerpon-wellspring::samurott-hisui::lunala::ninetales-alola::great-tusk::iron-hands:
LBN brings a familiar looking 6 (it actually isn't the same paste as pannu's 6 but the fundamentals are the same) while fraise brings a weird Lunala offense with lots of Pokemon that can get out of hand quickly. Ditto means LBN can turn those on a head quickly however, and the speed of the Hydrapple could make things very difficult for fraise.

LBN leads Arceus-Ghost into Fraise's Ninetales and gets Rocks off. Normally this would be fine, but this Arceus is not very speed invested - in fact it is exactly 301 speed, meaning that the Ninetales on the other side is... at least as slow as Great Tusk? Both players trade damage, as Ninetales is forced to leave at the end of Snow, and Fraise sends in Samurott. LBN misses a Wisp, as Samurott clicks... Knock? Ok, it's reasonable to expect Arceus to switch, but Knock is not making great progress into anything that Ceaseless doesn't. This allows LBN to use Wisp again, which connects, as Fraise begins to layer spikes. Corv comes in however and Defogs the hazards away, and Ninetales comes back in and launches a Blizzard, which chunks Corv into the yellow, but it U-Turns to Arceus, who claims the Samurott switching in. Lunala comes in and immediately clicks Tera Fairy Moonblast, but misses the KO. Ting-Lu switches in to preserve Arceus, and only takes 35-ish from Lunala and hence wins the 1v1. Booster Attack Tusk is able to revenge with Spin, but it has to switch out of the healthy Clef coming in next, which leads to Ogerpon eating a Moonblast and then Ninetales eating a Thunder Wave. The min speed Ninetales who is paralysed then reveals Encore (???) but Corv has switched in. Corv then misses its Hurricane on the Ogerpon switching in, but its Icy Cudgel cannot touch Hydrapple. Hydrapple chips Hands, who reveals Ice Punch into Clef (who barely takes 20), and Ogerpon is switched in again, giving Hydrapple another free entry point. This time LBN reads the Hands switch in and Hands has to eat an Earth Power, and is in the red. Ditto switches in and outspeeds the Hands, knocking it out. It unfortunately misses the KO on Ogerpon, but from here nothing can deal with Hydrapple, as it switches in and plots to win the game.

Without question Fraise had a poor week. The Ninetales set was incredibly poor, his team didn't appear to have any speed control (I initially thought Lunala had to be Scarf but it was actually slower than Arceus) and his plays in the game did nothing to redeem the team. I normally wouldn't criticise a player this openly but I know fraise is goated and can bounce back, but he (and his team) need to have a step back and think about what on earth happened this week before that can happen.

[DZD] TTTech vs Icemaster [ZMZ]
:pecharunt::samurott-hisui::moltres::Arceus::great-tusk::hatterene: vs :hatterene::Kyogre::landorus-therian::comfey::archaludon::rillaboom:
TTTech brings an Arceus fat with setup Arceus and Hatterene as his main win-cons, while Icemaster brings a Rain/GTerrain HO, with Hatterene, Kyogre, Comfey, and Archaludon all being big threats. Kyogre in particular looks scary as TTTech does not have a natural resist out of Samurott, who does not envy switching into Kyogre. Comfey also outprioritises Tech's Arceus and Archaludon and Ice's Hatterene are also big stops to Tech's own Hatterene, so the ball is definitely in Icemaster's court.

Tech leads Samurott into Rillaboom and is forced to leave, switching to Moltres as Icemaster U-Turns away. Kyogre hits the field and Tech Terastallises to Dragon to resist the incoming Water Spout, but it does 70% anyway, while Tech only Wisps it in return. Samurott is forced in and barely survives the next Water Spout, responding with Ceaseless Edge before dying. Tech's Samurott is Boots so we know from this interaction Kyogre is not Scarfed. Arceus comes in and Bulks Up, taking 60% from an Origin Pulse. With Rain now over Icemaster switches to Landorus-Therian, removing Tech's Attack boost. Arceus Recovers and grabs another Bulk Up but is Taunted by Landorus, who Intimidate cycles Arceus at the cost of most of its health. It is however able to bring in Archaludon in the rain, so Tech is forced into Great Tusk as Archaludon grabs a boost off Electro Shot. Icemaster chooses to Terastallise Archaludon to Flying, dodging the Earthquake from Tusk. Tusk knocks Archaludon's Vest but goes down the following turn. Pecharunt comes in and eats a Flash Cannon, but removes Archaludon's Special Attack boost, meaning it has to switch out. A few pivots ensue, and Icemaster attempts to get Rocks up. Unfortunately Tech switches Hatterene in and Bounces the Rocks back, severely limiting Archaludon and meaning Landorus is dead the next time it tries to switch in. Tech Calm Minds as Rillaboom switches in, and elects to leave, sacking a severely chipped Moltres to Wood Hammer. Tech is able to bring in Pecharunt, who Recovers as Icemaster sacks Landorus. Icemaster is fairly ahead in mons at this point, as Hatterene comes in and uses Healing Wish to remove Kyogre's status and bring it to good health. Unfortunately for Ice, Pecharunt barely lives the Origin Pulse (Water Spout only kills with a crit) and Tech is able to bring Arceus in on a Parting Shot. The bad luck doesn't end for Icemaster, as he misses two Origin Pulses, allowing Arceus to grab two Bulk Ups. Icemaster sacks Rillaboom and attempts to win with Comfey but he cannot win the damage war, and after one more crit to rub salt in the wound, Ice concedes the game.

[GDW] Starshine. vs entrocefalo [HTK]
:rotom-wash::eternatus::clefable::meowscarada::corviknight::ting-lu: vs :skarmory::lokix::clefable::calyrex-ice::ting-lu::garganacl:
Starshine loads Eternatus balance with mixed Meowscarada (idt Meow has seen play for a while? It's an interesting use of the SpA slot but I do like it as a mon) while entro loads a Calyrex hazard stack fat. Important to note here that Lokix is unlikely to be Scarfed, so entro's team is extremely slow, and Meowscarada + Etern threaten big damage into most of the team. Rotom also threatens to stop any progress from Calyrex although it can be worn down, and Lokix looks like it's really going to struggle into this build. However, Starshine requires a lot of predictions to remove key walls, and if entro can make enough progress via hazards, they can win the endgame with one of their physical breakers.

Entro leads Lokix into Eternatus, and immediately doubles away to Garganacl. Starshine does their own double away to Rotom and Entro doubles again to Ting-Lu. Starshine doubles to Meowscarada and Ting-Lu gets Rocks up. Meowscarada Knocks off the incoming Skarmory, removing its Helmet, and U-Turns away to Eternatus as Skarm sets Spikes. This time, Starshine reads the Garganacl coming in and does around 40 with Dynamax Cannon, burning a Recover. They double to Rotom as Entro doubles to Ting-Lu, and Rotom lands a Wisp the next turn. Entro then doubles to Lokix the next turn, and it is forced to take a Volt Switch that does little under half. This is a slightly questionable play, perhaps Entro wanted to preserve health on Ting-Lu and thought Lokix did not need it as much. But Eternatus comes back in and Ting-Lu is forced back out, meaning Entro did not make any progress.
Starshine doubles Meowscarada in on a Ruination, but this just means Skarmory gets to come back in, and it gets a Roost off. Starshine doubles to Clefable and gets Rocks of their own, while entro doubles into their own Clefable and starts boosting with Calm Mind. However it cannot make any progress before Eternatus comes in and scares it away with Sludge Bomb. A similar cycle happens again but when Eternatus next clicks Sludge Bomb, entro Terastallises to Poison, enabling him to get more boosts on his Clefable. However, Starshine switches his own Clefable back in, revealing Unaware and knocking the boots of entro's Clefable, limiting the justification for entro's Terastallisation. Starshine eventually brings in Corviknight to Defog away the hazards accumulated, and entro decides to Wish up Ting-Lu back to 80.
Starshine gets Clef in on a U-Turn and Knocks Ting-Lu's Leftovers off, while Ting-Lu gets Rocks. Clef then responds with Rocks as Garg comes back in, but it gets Knocked in exchange for Salt Curing the Clefable. Starshine doubles to Rotom revealing Cloak on a Salt Cure, and then entro attempts to switch in Lokix. It however drops to a Rotom Hydro Pump.
Clefable comes back in so Starshine brings in Landorus-Therian as it Wishes. Starshine actually doubles away to Corv the next turn, perhaps expecting Skarm, but Moonblast comes out. Starshine opts to Defog again as Clefable sets up a Wish and Calm Minds. Landorus hits the field again and attempts to U-Turn but it is blocked by Protect, and fairly obviously Choiced at this point (most likely Bandorus), so Clef is able to Moonblast again into the Corv, not doing much damage at all. Corv's Brave Bird barely dents Clefable back, so Starshine has to go back into Landorus, and is forced to lock Earthquake into Clefable's Protect. Entro is forced to double to Skarm but Starshine also doubles to Corv. Skarm tries to ID but Starshine brings in Etern, so Garg is forced to eat a Flamethrower. Etern can't get the KO and is Salt Cured as a result, but Garg is now very low and Ting-Lu is forced to hit the field again, getting Rocks up again, while Clef comes in and Moonblasts the Ting-Lu. Entro elects to sack it, but Starshine is able to get up Rocks and allow Ting-Lu to die to burn damage.
Calyrex finally hits the field, and runs Clef out of its Recovers. Clef then Knocks Calyrex's Boots as a parting gift, but Calyrex twists the dimensions with Trick Room, and now Starshine finds a devastating play. Calyrex only has 5 Glacial Lances left. Starshine switches Corv in on the first, with Pressure reducing its PP to 3. Then Starshine sacks Clef to the move, before bringing Corv back in to take the last Glacial Lance, starving Calyrex of its main offensive move. Despite now being at +3 via a combination of Chilling Neigh and Swords Dance, Calyrex is HHP last and can no longer hit Bandorus or the Rotom in the back. Hence Starshine predicts it to switch out and goes for Tera Blast Fire, hoping to catch Skarmory out. However, Entro stays in and lives and sets up Trick Room once again, but it is now dead to the next round of Rocks, and Rotom can happily switch in to prevent Calyrex from making any further progress. Volt claims Calyrex and Starshine brings in Eternatus, but this lets Garganacl back in, granting it a free Recover with Trick Room still up, as Starshine sacks Rotom. Starshine stalls the last turn of Trick Room as Meowscarada doubles in for Landorus, and Starshine calls the Garganacl to stay in, knocking it out with Leaf Storm, and the game looks all but inevitably over now.
Skarmory comes out next as Meowscarada U-Turns out to Etern. Entro is forced into Clefable but this is not safe, as Etern does more than half to it with Dynamax Cannon. Clefable falls and entro concedes the game.

[GDW] QT vs SammyCe123 [HTK]
:sinistcha::samurott-hisui::clefable::zacian-crowned::great-tusk::iron-hands: vs :skarmory::arceus-ghost::clefable::tornadus-therian::ting-lu::hydrapple:
QT loads a fairly standard looking Zacian balance while Sammy loads a familiar looking Arceus-Ghost fat. QT definitely looks like they have the matchup in their favour, although Hydrapple is always scary, but they have good offensive counterplay to it. Setup Sinistcha could also definitely give Sammy a lot of problems.

It is in fact Zacian that gives Sammy problems. QT leads Samurott into Hydrapple, and Flips away to Zacian on a Giga Drain. They are able to grab a Swords Dance as Sammy doubles to Skarm. CC does over half, and Body Press doesn't KO back. Sammy tries to knock Zacian out with switching mind games involving Skarm's helmet, but it doesn't work, leaving Torn chipped and Skarm dead. Sammy is forced to Terastallise Ting-Lu to guarantee the revenge knockout, but it takes 71% from one last Behemouth Blade.
Samurott comes back in and gets two layers of spikes, dying to Hydrapple's Giga Drain. However, this lets Booster Speed Hands come in and get a Swords Dance, as Sammy doubles to Arceus fearing Ice Punch. Unfortunately, Hands reveals Tera Fire and therefore Arceus's Wisp fails. Hands claims the 2HKO with Supercell Slam, and claims Hydrapple with Ice Punch the next turn. Nothing else can answer Hands at this point and Sammy concedes the game on turn 12.

Quinn vs XxLazzerpenguinxX
Preview:
Quinn Blaze + Scept. SpD mon seems lacking unless Chansey is not Imp. Scept probably not mixed so Chansey can improof, and Blaze improof obv Giratina.
Sevag weird team with Tapu Koko?! Defensive mons are lacking suggesting an offensive team. With that a lot of sets could be anything.
Actual:
Quinn blaze is lo likely SG never revealed. Chansey never revealed, Giratina is Prank, and Fairyceus probably FC.
Sevag indeed weird HO with Screens Pert NP Steelceus Pixi Zac Pixi Koko Scarf Blaze and an utility Etern probably for improofing.
Game:
Sevag gets good lead but loses scarf on blaze which is kind of huge as it cant cripple Tina anymore making it deadweight. SD Zac goes in and Quinn sacks Giratina but Blaze no scarf means it cant clean and is sacked. Scept speed control crucial and Sevag throws Steelceus instead of revenging with Koko. Then he misplays Swampert turns with Screens and fails to get Zacian back going, which otherwise couldve maybe won though it was already tough.

fififlutters vs Clas
Preview:
fififlutters Necro balance structure, considering Necro is always mixed improof is either Flutter Mane (improofing Glaive Rush + Special moves) or more likely Ting Lu soft improof. Flutter flexible Zama standard FC Etern flexible Ting AV Steelceus flexible.
Clas Garchomp balance structure, Cele improof is plausible but unlikely with coverage options, more likely Audino improof, esp since Audino FC is likely (other option being like Cele Mirai double FC), other slots flexible, though if Aud FC line then Cele is likely AV for some momentum on team.
Actual:
fififlutters MG Necro balance with a MG Steelceus secondary, defensive core fairly standard.
Clas Chomp supported by Bouncer, SpD core being the QT double AV.
Game:
Fairly close game, since neither player has adequate answers for the others breaker. Clas letting Chomp eat +2 Steel beam does limit their plays since it cant switch in at all into hazards. Clas also miscalculates the Necro moveset due to misjudging improof, which becomes costly later on, ultimately likely being the game decider, though more importantly are definitely the predicts around Necro and positioning of Chomp.

Ballfire vs cityscapes [G1] [G2]
G1 Preview:
Ballfire seemingly loads Stolen Identity's sample team.
city Chomp balance with a bunch of fat stuff. Improof likely to be FC Aud though could be Ghostceus. Kyogre would be AV for anyone else but city is known for using many unorthodox sets, including Take Heart sets and her new set Pixi 4 fairy moves.
Actual:
Ballfire recycles a QT team from HPL, featuring Beads Poison Judg Etern I believe.
city Chomp is actually Scarf and indeed Kyogre is the pixi 4 fairy moves.
Game:
Ballfire misplays against the scarf chomp, going greedy on a fairly suspicious hard in Chomp on likely U-turn, which costs him his wincon. The Chomp check then gets tricked and without anything resembling a Blades switch in city is able to play Chomp well enough to win before Ballfire can attrition wincon using Ghostceus + hazards to whittle down Audino.

G2 Preview:
Ballfire Garde Balance, improof obviously Heatran who is likely AV, FC has to be Fairyceus, double Blob for extra SpD though very weak to fighting type special moves, Etern flex.
cityscapes bringing Lando almost always means the VD GaG selfproof set, rest of team potentially suggests superman with Lando + Cele + bunch of MG plausible mons. Ghostceus considering city might be some no recovery set especially with double blob meaning likelihood of wish support is fairly high.
Actual:
Ballfire basically same as above. Blissey is RegenVest not MG. Etern is MG secondary offensive mon.
city basically same as above. Ghostceus ability is never revealed I think. Korai is not FC so probably MG. Blissey is some novel moveset Helmet MG. Cele is the city Tspike phaze set.
Game:
City doesnt have a satisfactory switch in into Garde since no Scales, but after sacking Korai Ballfire doesnt have an answer to NP Sword Ghostceus and loses the Garde improof, thus Garde is no longer safe to use. This means ballfire can no longer win since Fairyceus can never win outside of egregious parahax against Salt Cure + Imposter. The Landorus + Blissey sapblock also has no answers and wins quickly.

Not doing G3 it was a silly team.

Mindnight vs damflame 3
Preview:
Mindnight Blaziken balance, improof Waterceus, AV Ting, double blob so likely MG blob, giving Flutter Mane flex.
Damflame heat Blacephalon!? Analyzing the lack of sufficient defensive guys means this is likely some offense, and with maybe some hindsight this is somewhat resembling the Torch Song offense by I dont even know who was first, with Blace and Groundceus over Zama and Lunala.
Actual:
Both basically same as above. Damflame Groundceus is DD Shackle.
Game:
Mindnight gets a bad V-create miss, forcing Waterceus to take a Grass Knot from Heatran, which puts it in range of Groundceus later, leaving him with no Groundceus answer which sweeps. Though, he was likely to be overwhelmed anyways when Blissey is traded by Etern and Ting-Lu is pretty insufficient vs Torch Song HO.

Wheaty vs quojova
Preview:
Wheaty Chomp balance, improof FC Dozo, Ferro almost always AV, likely a sapblocker between Steelceus and Flutter, or could be Chansey since it does fit as SpD.
quojova could be breaker Korai or Flutter but former seems very uncommon these days esp considering rest of team (see later). Wincon Flutter would make sense but utility also is plausible with maybe a spike stack angle. Cele AV, FC could very likely be Korai here but Audino also works. Could be scales Steelceus or Flutter.
Actual:
Wheaty has Chomp supported by bouncer, webs, and a suspicious SpD core consisting of AV Ferro and... nothing else? On preview you wouldve imagined a Scales between Steelceus and Flutter but one is Bounce one is MG.
quojova brings no breaker fat balance, GaG Steelceus wincon with a bunch of fat/utility guys. SpD core AV Cele Scales Flutter, Def core MG Korai FC Aud.
Game:
quojova midground unwallable Chomp between their resists and Imposter while wheaty didnt bring a proper spd answer (relying on MG Topsy Flutter?) so basically just loses to Steelceus.

Akira 153 vs Ivar57
Preview:
Akira seems to have a very fat looking team, from her tendencies this is either Flutter Mane breaker, or its hazard stack fat.
Ivar kind of standard Blaziken balance, improofed by either Pert or Etern. Fairyceus likely FC which leads to question whether Pert is FC since there are no likely Scales user. Cele looks to be AV if Pert is not.
Actual:
Akira does bring a hazard stack with MG Darkceus Flutter Giratina.
Ivar Etern is utility, Pert probably was revealed based on calcs but I'm too lazy to find it.
Game:
Akira gets Giratina paralyzed early on which is a rather big concession vs Blaze main breaker team. Hazards go up but Etern is able to remove TSpikes, dodge a DTail, and Court Change to stave off for a while. Due to paraed Giratina Akira has to play risky against the Blaze, and loses Darkceus because it was slower? Ivar's unorthodox Shore Up Shackle Fairyceus is then also able to pick up kill because Solg sucks. Ivar then grinds out a tough endgame considering his poor removal.

Predicts
3/4 last week, one Bo3 yes/no wrong, other ehh

Quinn vs cityscapes
Quinn won last week but city shouldn't make the same plays and the team Quinn brought was quite dubious.

Ballfire vs Treeko928
Ballfire lost all aura and in fact has negative for recycling a team, and someone else's at that, and then losing with it. From what I've seen Treeko also has stronger in game based on the last time he played BH, and has wayyyyy better support.

Wheaty vs Akira 153
Wheaty got a very poor matchup last week and honestly the structure seemed a bit dubious. Akira lost but the team's matchup was actually really good. And in terms of in game idt Akira's misjudgments are going to be as punishing in this mu.

fififlutters vs damflame 3
I have no idea if these two are going to play BH since they seem rather evenly matched in both tiers.
Based on last weeks games I liked fififlutters's team more than damflame's half recycle team, so I'm going with that.

Mindnight vs Ivar57
Idk the GG level of these players but if Ivar loses he picks BH otherwise its MnM. I think theres good chances BH doesn't get played because Ivar op?
Mindnight's team last week was overall soundish but some plays were somewhat sloppy and Ivar is very punishing as we saw in his game. Ivar's team however I don't like much why are we mono Mortal removal.

TTTech vs QT
Tech will send to BH over MnM if he loses. Idk the GG matchup here I think its even.
I like QT's chances more bc I think QT + Akira support is very interesting mix of ideas. TTTech meanwhile idk if he missed or something allowed a team weak to an extremely common wincon go through so thats points deducted.
