Once more unto the breach (UU team)

In light of the UU reconstruction coming up (and the fact that I'll be away for a bit), I've decided to post this (current UU) team. This is my fist attempt at a UU team that wasn't stall, this team is my most successful one yet. Named my pokes after characters from Henry V.

Montjoy (Venusaur) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 56 HP/200 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sleep Powder
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Sludge Bomb

Standard Scarfsaur. Venusaur is just awesome, sleeping what needs to be slept and helping me deal with Altaria (a little), outspeeding and 2HKOing or OHKOing every varient including standard DDaltaria after one DD.

Named Montjoy as he is often a messenger of whats to come, namly, will I get owned or not.

Bedford (Steelix) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 HP/116 Atk/4 Spd/136 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake

Standard Steelix, sets up rocks and phazes most things. In a pinch, Steelix has a chance to survive CB CC from Hitmonlee and unboosted FB from Ninetales and OHKO back.

Henry V (Scyther) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace
- X-Scissor
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack

Scyther is... a monster with an SD. After an SD, AA and X-Scisor threaten an OHKO on all pokes that aren't resistant or dedicated physical tanks. Quick Attack is for scarfed pokes in addition to Sucker Punchers and Swellow, as it does a minimum of 87% on min/min Swellow.

Named Henry because he is the heart of this team.

Fluellen (Ninetales) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk/4 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Energy Ball
- Dark Pulse

Ninetales, one of the best special sweepers in UU. Thinking about replacing Dark Pulse with HP Rock for other fires and Altaria, as Grumpig basically forces a switch anyways.

Exeter (Blastoise) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic
- Surf
- Rapid Spin
- Hidden Power [Electric]

My rapid spinner. With my two primary sweepers weak to rocks, Blastoise in invaluable. I chose to make him a special wall to shore up my previously huge rain dance weakness. HP electric because otherwise, Mantine gives me fits.

Named Exeter because like Exeter helps Henry, Blastoise helps Scyther (alot).

York (Clefable) (M) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP/152 Def/4 Spd/100 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Wish
- Encore
- Trick
- Seismic Toss
---

Encore is seriously my favorite move ever. It can stop stat uppers, sub punchers, and the like to let one of my sweepers set up. Trick is for fighters. The first time, I gtfo to let Scyther or Venusaur take the CC, then the second, I trick on a flame orb on the switchin. Wish is because my team needs healing.

Named York because somehow, Clefable finds a way to die, usually due to a crit. ;-; However, Clefable going down doesn't stop this team from doing what it needs to do.

---
The basic strategy of this team is to soften up either Ninetales or Scyther's counters, then bring them in on something they can set up easily on. After that, they can destroy the other team.

Problems:
Scarf Fighters not named Hitmonlee: Not OHKO'd by Quick Attack, and otherwise tears apart this team. I don't know what I could put on to stop them without destorying the synergy of the team though.
CM Clefable: Unless I can get in Scyther on a weakened one, or Encore its CM, it beats my team.
Altaria: Nothing can really force it out, and it wrecks havoc on this team unless its locked into Outrage.
There are others, but I seem to have forgotten them, sorry.

Im very inexperienced at rating in DPP, but im fairly sure my CBlee OHKOs all steelix's even with Impish nature as long as no Def evs.

Actually, Max/min Steelix has a 40% chance of surviving max/max adamant CBlee CC.

558 Atk vs 436 Def & 354 HP (120 Base Power): 332 - 392 (93.79% - 110.73%)

So yeah, I would only use Steelix against Hitmonlee in an emergency. (And when he has max health)
