The two trainers send out there first two duo's. On Awesome's side comes out his Numel and Haunter. Opposing them we have Epicdrill who sends out his Ralts and Charmeleon. Haunter swiftly starts the match with a Sludge Bomb and targets Ralts with the attack. Charmeleon gets fired up after seeing it's ally get rocked with that attack and rushes in with a Crunch attack. The two mon's are now fighting off in the corner of the mat. The Ralts takes the oppurunity to inject Numel (who appears to be unaware of what is going on) with some deadly Toxic. The Numel finally realizes this is a match and proceeds to break up the fight with and Earthquake. Haunter flies around avoiding the attack and proceeds to fire off a Shadow Ball at the Ralts once again. he Charmeleon now filled with rage, sharpens it's claws with dark energy and attacks the Hautner yet again. The Ralts gets behind the Haunter and trades abilities with it, now allowing it to Levitate off the ground. Numel helps it's ally again and calls upon an Ancient Power for back up. The Charmeleon goes flying but gracefully recovers back on the mat. The team's stare each other down at this moment.

Ralts and Charmeleon decide to go on the defensive and they both huddle together and protect themselves. Ultraviolet tries to fire a Sludge Bomb at the two but the balls of poison bounce off of Charmeleon's thick protection. Numel raises it's guard by forgetting the last round entirely. Haunter tries again and fires off a Shadow Ball and this time breaks through the protect and sends the Ralts flying. Charmeleon drops it's guard and jumps up and bites down hard on to the Haunter. The Ralts hits the ground violently but musters up the strength to give Numel an Encore. No one knows if Numel noticed it's Encore but it used Amnesia again.

Haunter breaks lose from Charmeleon's grip and shadows over the Ralts. The Ralts gets scared and protects itself from Haunter's Sludge Bomb attack. Charmeleon sees an opening and claws right at Haunter. Numel is still unaware of what exactly is going here and is still sitting down in the middle of the mat. Haunter shoves the Charmeleon away and swiftly fires a Shadow Ball right through the poor Ralts' protect. The attack sends it to the ground and it appears to be unable to battle. Charmeelon rushes in to help with another Crunch attack. Numel finally figures out that it's in a fight and uses Ancient Power to help Haunter. The Ancient Power shakes off Charmeleon and send it flying right into it's ally, causing significant damage.

Epicdrill calls back his injured Ralts and sends out Colosshale. Colosshale and Charmeleon surround the tired Haunter. Charmeleon lunges at Haunter but the Haunter blasts it back with a Focus Blast at point blank range. Colosshale attacks Haunter from behind with a Bite and brings it down. The poor thing was now getting clawed at by the enraged Charmeleon. Numel tried helping by firing another Ancient Power. Thankfully, she hit the Charmeleon beating the Haunter down senselessly. Colosshale detected Numel's next attack and instructed to Charmeleon to hide underground. Charmeleon dug underground and avoid the next Ancient Power while Colosshale planned out an attack. Suddenly, a burst of water spews out the top of the Colosshale and hits Numel right in the face. Thankfully she recovered from the attack with just a bit energy left.

Colosshale falls back to cool off after that massive attack. Charmeleon aids its ally and attacks Electrike from below with Dig attack. The electricity was enough to stiffen out Charmeleon's muscles. Electrike speeds past Charmeleon and attacks it with a Thunderbolt. Numel helps out by rattling the entire arena with an Earthquake. The power was enough to everyone down. Colosshale gets up quickly and chomps down onto Electrike. The two are now squaring off 1v1 and Electrike zaps back with another Thunderbolt attack. Charmeleon tries to help its ally again by digging underground. However, Numel creates another Earthquake and catches Charmeleon with the force. The attack was great enough to shoot Charmeleon out of the ground and back on to the mat where lay; unable to battle.

Colosshale surprises Electrike with a lightning fast Sucker Punch. However, he felt the static take hold and took a Thunderbolt from the Electrike. Numel helped it's ally out by sending off an Ancient Power attack. Smoke and debris lit off of Colosshale. The smoke cleared and now showing Colosshale along side it's new teammate, Shelgon, who was fired up for the battle. It charged Electrike and smacked it with a Dragon Claw Combo. Colosshale tried to pitch in but couldn't move due to it's paralysis. Awesome's team started taking in energy for one last attack. However, the two were too tired to complete the attacks and both of the mon's fell to the ground; exhausted.
