ONIX
no Pokemon when combined with an eviolite can take physical attacks better than Onix, I think I am right in saying in the entire game.
having dragon tail and roar means you cant be taunted or set up on by substitute sets
Positives:
- it resists stealth rock
- has a support movepool
- has sturdy
- is quite quick in comparison to the rest of NU
- can run as a lead
- Brock owned one :naughty:
- good coverage
Its main rival as a physical tank in the NU tier is in the shape of Regirock, both of them lack realiable recovery, Onix even more so since it will be carrying an eviolite. Onix also can't have thunder wave.
Negatives:
- has 2 common 4x weaknesses,
- virtually unusable attack stats,
-virtually unusable sp. def stat (outside of a sandstorm and without eviolite anyway)
- has a weakness to ground, fighting types are very uncommon in in NU
sorry if this isnt up to standards, but im sure someone else has contemplated such
