Stoward

Ah, you're finally awake
[OVERVIEW]

* Onix is an excellent Pokemon in the LC tier thanks to the sheer versatility the Pokemon has to offer.
* Blessed with 3 abilities that all have their viable uses, near perfect STAB coverage in Earthquake and Head Smash or Rock Blast, access to brilliant setup or utility options in Dragon Dance, Stealth Rock, and Taunt and the speed tier to be able to effectively utilize these, Onix can essentially be customized to fill a variety of roles in LC teams.
* Its typing and insanely high Defense stat also allows it to be one of the best checks to the omnipresent Vullaby.
* However, its typing ultimately ends up being its biggest drawback as its weaknesses to common typings such as Water, Grass, and Fighting result in it being KOed by common priority attacks such as Aqua Jet and Mach Punch after taking only a very small amount of damage, and its Ground-type weakness means that it is susceptible to being trapped and eliminated by Diglett and Trapinch.

* Head Smash is the Rock STAB Move of choice as it takes no recoil thanks to its ability Rock Head and 2HKOs virtually everything that doesn't resist it
* Earthquake is Onix's most powerful Ground-type STAB and hits common Head Smash Switch-ins such as Pawniard, Ferroseed, and Timburr, and is a more accurate option for neutral targets.
* Body Press utilizies Onix's impressive Defense stat and is able to more effectively hit Ferroseed and Timburr for more damage than Earthquake would.
* Stealth Rock is a solid coverage option due to the amount of
