Online Status

Well I've been a regular visitor of the Wi-Fi section of Smogon for a few months now, and there's one thing that I think would make arranging trades/battles easier. I don't know whether it's possible, but I think an online status function for your profile would be helpful.

Because when you're viewing someone's profile, you can see whether they're online or not, but when I VM people and they're online, they may take between a few minutes to hours to reply. If there were online statuses you could put yourself as away or busy so that others will know that you won't reply to VM's or PM's immediately. I know I and many others would utilise a function like this because people may have their browsers open but be away from the computer.

So is this suggestion plausible?
 
If you've done anything on Smogon in the last x minutes or so in terms of querying threads and stuff it will show you as "online", so the green dot should tell you if the person is online or not. it doesn't stay on if you leave a smogon tab open forever like AIM
 
There's also the circle on the bottom left of I believe every person's username when they post. If they're online, the circle will be green. If not, it's gray.
