Online Team

I'm new to this metagame. It's my first gen of competitive battling.
I hope I can adapt quickly.

Changes in BOLD

AT A GLANCE:

Latias @ Leftovers
Unlikely Special Tank
§ Calm Mind
§ Recover
§ Dragon Pulse
§ Surf/Ice Beam/Healing Wish
Modest
Levitate
252 Sp. A/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP
Alternative:
252 Sp. D/ 252 Sp./ 4 Sp. A (4 D) *4 HP

*Have not tested*
Will test soon!

Weavile @ Expert Belt
Physical Attacker/Revenge Killer
§ Pursuit
§ Night Slash
§ Ice Shard
§ Ice Punch
Nature: Naughty
Pressure
252 Atk/ 252 Spe / 4 Sp. D

My Ice type of choice. It is a pretty fast pokemon, which helps it fire off an Ice Beam/Night Slash quickly. Ice Beam is for STAB and can counter dragons, genie trio, Whimsicott, Etc. Night Slash is for Jellicent/Chandelure. X-Scissor is for type coverage. Ice Shard is for a priority attack, and the attack is fast and strong enough to break Tornadus/Thundurus's subs. What I focused on with Weavile is to make it a fast Ice user. This can be extremely useful as a revenge killer, and Ice Shard will remove threats that outspeed me, like Latios w/ HP Fire.

Heatran @ Shucca Berry
Stealth Rock
§ Stealth Rock
§ Fire Blast/Magma Storm
§ Earth Power/Flame Charge
§ Dragon Pulse / Taunt
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid
Flash Fire

Heatran is my Special Attacker. It functions in a way similar to Accelgor, just that its ability lets it switch into a Fire attack with ease. The Fire STAB moves are to hit steels and grass types easily. Flame Charge acts like a Choice Scarf, and can be very useful in some situations. Earth Power is to counter Rock, or Electric types. Taunt is for users like Whimsicott or Ferrothorn, or Baton Passers.

Tentacruel @ Leftovers
SpinAttacker
§ Toxic Spikes
§ Rapid Spin
§ Hydro Pump
§ Sludge Wave
Calm
Liquid Ooze
252 Sp. D / 252 Sp. A/ 4 HP

Tentacruel has replaced Starmie as a Rapid Spinner. Toxic Spikes is to poison pokemon and not waste moves like Toxic. Rapid Spin is to remove enemy hazards. Hydro Pump and Sludge Wave alike are STAB moves that take some advantage of his decent Special Attack to hurt. I chose Liquid Ooze over Clear Body to be able to switch into a Leech Seed from Ferrothorn.

Deoxys - D @ Leftovers
Status Passer
§ Psycho Shift
§ Need help! (Failed with Psycho Boost)
§ Mirror Coat
§ Counter
Pressure
Modest
252 D/ 252 Sp.D/ 4 Sp.A
I use Deoxys for 4 reasons; The first one is to wall sweepers. The second one is to be able to take damage and fire it back in the form of STAB Psycho Boost. The third one is to KO pokemon with Counter/Mirror Coat. The fourth and last one is to fire back the status moves (Toxic, Will-o-Wisp, T-Wave, etc.) and cripple the pokemon that fired it.

Dusclops @ Eviolite
Wall
§ Pain Split
§ Will-o-Wisp
§ Mean Look
§ Confuse Ray
Calm
Pressure
252 D/ 252 SP.D/4 HP

CONSIDERATIONS:
SubPunch Breloom

CHANGES:
Replaced Starmie for Tentacruel
Replaced Cryogonal for Weavile
Replaced Haxorus for Deoxys-D
Replaced Shuckle for Cof*grigus
Replaced Accelgor for Latias
Replaced Cof*grigus for Dusclops (Eviolite)

By Power Trick I assume you mean Power Split.

It seems like you have a really fast team (except shuckle) making Crygonal kinda obsolete. I would suggest Mamoswine, his ice shard gives you all the protection from dragons you need.

It seems like Shuckle would benefit greatly from toxic spikes, that way you can replace Toxic with something that can actaully damage a steel type.
To do this you could replace Stamie with Tentacruel or Accelgor with Scolipede, Nidoking, Roserade etc.

Also, I don't think you would ever want to use guard split...

I've used it in the past, and Guard Split sucks. I'm thinking of Safeguard > Guard Split.
"Power Trick switches the user's Attack stat with its Defense stat, however any boosts or reductions that have been applied to those stats are not switched. The effect of Power Trick may be Baton Passed." (Bulbapedia)
Mamoswine might be good, but maybe Weavile might be faster and stronger, but Mamoswine is bulkier.

If you want to use something that's good for fast STAB special Ice attacks, you would do much better using Froslass. As it is, Cryogonal is not the most offensive pokemon out there, and your use of HP Dark specifically is a bad idea, since Dark is one of the worst Hidden Power types to use. Froslass has higher SpA and Spe, and for coverage, STAB Shadow Ball is far more powerful than Cryogonal's HP Dark. Hope this helps.

You just gave me more options. Thanks!
Weavile could be a Dark Type user, and Frosslass Ghost, while Mamoswine is Ground.
I'll have to decide which secondary type is more useful.

Weaville isn't going to be doing anything with ice beam considering his special attack is much less than favorable. Ice Punch will serve you much better. I also recommend swapping that focus sash for a Life Orb or Expert Belt (I personally use the later) as it gives him much more potency as a sweeper. Also, X-Scissor and Night Slash is a bit redundant. I would swap X-Scissor with Low Kick, as it easily OHKO's Tyranitar and does hefty damage to Mamoswine. Another alternative is pursuit, which is really handy for Gengars and Reuniclus's that think they can switch out.

using Psycho Boost on Deoxys-D is a really bad idea, to put it bluntly. Firstly, Psychic has historically never been a good mono-attacking type, even with STAB, due to the prevalence of Tyranitar in the metagame, though it may become more useful with the influx of Fighting types. Secondly, using a move like Psycho Boost, that lowers its user's stats, is terrible on a defensive pokemon, as they are expected to stick around in the battle for some time, which is counter to the use of an Overheat equivalent. This move, just like its Fire, Grass, and Dragon-type brethren (Overheat, Leaf Storm, and Draco Meteor) are best used on hit-and-run sweepers, in order to deal a lot of damage in the one turn they are likely to stay in. Because walls are not meant to be constantly switched, Psycho Boost flies in the face of Deoxys-D's place on your team as a wall.
