Only team that I use.

XY Competitive Battles

Bronzong w/ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252HP/128Def/128SDef
Nature: Calm
~ Stealth Rock
~ Toxic
~ Protect
~ Gyro Ball
Bronzing has always been a total defensive tank on both sides of the attacking spectrum, making it a great unpredictable lead as opponents cannot be sure if it's a
defensive Poke, Trick Roomer or a Dual Screens/Stealth Rock lead. This can make for an unpredictable Toxic stalling Stealth Rocker and let's be honest, who doesn't like having rocks up? Having Gyro Ball ensures you don't become Taunt bait and along with STAB, works well off Bronzongs low speed.

Tentacruel w/ Assault Vest
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252HP/252SDef/4SAtk
Nature: Modest
~ Scald
~ Sludge Bomb
~ Rapid Spin
~ Wrap
The Tenta-Line has never been popular due to the vast oceans of Jhoto and Hoenn, but the truth is, Tentacruel is an amazing special wall and Rapid Spinner. Base 120 Sp. Defence with Assault Vest is not something to scoff at(adds up to 180 I think), and if you don't carry a Psychic type you better have a physical monster on your team and even that's threatened by Scalds 30% chance of burn. Sludge Bomb is another self-explanatory STAB move with 30% chance of poison and Wrap (I know what your thinking, just hear me out) is another unpredictable move for trapping pokes that thought they were safe against this jellyfish of doom.

Alakazam w/ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252SAtk/252Spd/4HP
Nature: Timid
~ Psyshock
~ Shadow Ball
~ Focus Blast
~ Energy Ball
As a child with no Pokemon playing friends, Alakazam was a member of a VIP club of Pokemon which I could never obtain, this has made me want to use Pokemon like Alakazam, Scizor and Kingdra for a long time. Alakazam is an insanely over powered Pokemon with speed and special attack surpassing that of an unboosted Latios (which no one runs) which makes for one hell of a revenge killer. Psyshock is a powerful STAB move that essentially allows you to go mixed. Shadow Ball makes quick work of Ghost types and other psychics, focus blast is a bit unreliable but when it pulls through (it always does, Lady Luck would never reject that moustache) it laughs in the face of bulky Dark, Rock, Steel and occasional Ice types. Energy ball is a good coverage move for Water and Ground types (I'm looking at you, Quagsire).

Gliscor w/ Toxic Orb
Ability: Toxic Heal
EVs: 252HP/200Def/56Atk
Nature: Impish
~ Substitute
~ Protect
~ Toxic
~ Earthquake
I know, I know 'another goddamn Gliscor' but seriously guys, this things defence is godly and it's capable of finishing the toxic Bronzong and Tentacruel set up. As annoying and noobish Toxic stalling is, it's a viable set that can take down nearly any opponent. The icing on the cake here is the fact that one of the best Toxic stallers in the game is a ground type, meaning super effective STAB Earthquake on both Steel and Poison types, the only types resisting Toxic.

Staraptor w/ Life Orb
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252Atk/252Spd/4HP
Nature: Jolly
~ Brave Bird
~ Close Combat
~ Double Edge
~ U-turn
Staraptor really is one of those 'high risk, high return,' Pokemon, but if anything is certain, it's that two STAB recoil moves + Reckless + Life Orb recoil, Staraptor isn't going to be lasting very long. But on the odd chance Staraptor does survive, U-turn is great for a free switch later on in the match and albeit further lowering your non-existing defences, Close Combat makes for the best coverage Staraptor could have. This old favourite of mine will probably never sweep an entire team, but 2-3 Pokemon works just fine for me.

Aerodactyl w/ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252Atk/252Spd/4HP
Nature: Adamant
~ Aerial Ace
~ Crunch
~ Stone Edge
~ Thunder Fang
Holy mother of Nintendo they did it, they gave Barney a mega evolution. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Unnerve active as long as the Pokemon that triggered it in play? Even if Skill Swap or Worry Seed is used on it?
I'm probably wrong but oh well. Back on topic this is Mega Aerodactyl, who is a monster, figuratively speaking. Base 150 speed allows this thing to outspeed EVERYTHING (almost) making Alakazam look like Slowpoke. Tough Claws makes moves like Aerial Ace and Crunch stronger but unfortunately does not boost Stone Edge and Gamefreak STILL haven't answered my prayers for a Head Smash Aerodactyl. This means no insanely powerful STAB Tough Claws boosted move like Mega Charizard Xs Flare Blitz AND Outrage. But I still love this thing for that boosted Thunder Fang (Fuck you Jellicent!)

Thanks for looking at my team guys :D

hey there silver, let me start by saying awesome team! You've made a nice ballanced team here. It's cool when you use a team exclusively / heavily in general as you start to know how opponents play against it, and can seem to make it beat things it normally shouldn't be able to :] Anyways i opened it up in my teambuilder to look at it and here are some things that come to mind; bulky swords dance mega scizor with thief and bullet punch. Your only real answer to this is your tentacruel, which will get 2 hit ko'd by a +2 thief, as you pray for that 30% scald burn. With rocks up, staraptor gets killed by +2 bullet punch. And the rest of your team one way or another. You also have a bit of a weakness to rotom-w, especially the physically defensive variant, with 3x electric weaknesses, and your best bet being gliscor toxic stalling it / stalling out hydro pumps. Genesect could also be an issue to you, as with the right coverage you can't safely switch in on it, and can only hope to revenge it. It's the same for special / mixed aegislash who you have no switch for.

What i would reccomend changing for this:

1- Staraptor -> Choice Banded Talon Flame (Bravebird/flareblitz/u turn/filler) This will serve about the same purpose, but will outspeed things like mega lucario, and threaten scizor/genesect and can u-turn on predicted rotom-w and tyranitar switches for 25% and 35% damage respectively. It is also just in general a more threatening sweeper.

2- Bronzong -> rocky helmet ferrothorn. (252hp/48def/208sp.def/0 speed ivs/relaxed nature with rocks/leech seed/gyro ball/power whip) This gives you a bit better coverage on your team, letting you switchin safely on rotom-w the worst thing they can do being a volt switch, if you know they're not scarfed. Sets up rocks, and synergises really well with tentacruel and gliscor.

I know i didn't suggest anything for the aegislash, i would reccomend just being careful against it, i don't want to completely restructure your team, because then it's not yours anymore! Hope this rate was useful for you, peace.

I may use that Ferrothorn set over Bronzong cuz those things are a pain in the ass >:D
But there is no way I'm using Talonflame, as good as it is everyone uses it and it's really annoying and kinda broken :\

Hi there and welcome to Smogon. This is a pretty cool team you've got there. I really like Tentacruel , but I feel its set could be improved upon.

Tentacruel @ Assault Vest
Calm Nature
Liquid Oooze/Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP/ 248 Def/ 8 SDef
-Toxic Spikes
-Scald
-Ice Beam
-Rapid Spin
This is a more reliable wall, and can set up hazards and spin.
I'd second the Ferrothorn recommendation.
Now, on to Aegislash. Aegislash is incredibly hard, if not impossible to counter.
I'd recommend Greninja, though I'm not sure what to replace.

Greninja @ Life Orb
Hasty Nature
Protean
EVs: 4 Atk/ 252 SAtk/ 252 Spe
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-U-Turn
-Dark Pulse
Lastly, I'd recommend pictures. Pokestadium has a great sprite arsenal of sprites that should have whatever you want. glhf.

Huge problem with that Tentacruel set btw, assault vest prevents use of all status moves, so no toxic spikes.
Also, Malamar is an amazing Aegislash repellent.

Malamar
Careful
Contrary
252Atk/200SDef/56Def
Superpower
Night Slash
Psycho Cut
Topsy Turvy

Have fun!
