ORAS OU ORAS Mega Alakzam team. DOING AMAMAZING BUT LOOKING FOR SUGGESTIONS

SPOON MASTER (Alakazam) (F) @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Charge Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Dazzling Gleam

I didnt even know this amazing thing existed because i have never seen one on the showdown ladder. Since the ladder scores are being deleted soon anyway I decided to try all the megas in OU and see which one of my teams is the best so i can grab the first spot on the ladder.
I run standard EV spread. I have osyshcok for powerful stab that hits the defensive side. charge beam is a great move that is under estimated. Then dazzling gleam for dark types and i relized that my set was really weakt to steels so i went HP fire

BEAST BUNNY (Azumarill) (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 204 Spe/
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Knock Off

I needed someone who covered alakazam weaknesses and azumarill does just that. I run the 52 evs in HP to be able to take a hit and 204 speed is to be fast. other base 50 speeds and i eun 252 attack plus adamant to maximize attack. Aqua jet for priority and ncie stab. waterfall and play rough for super strong stab and belly drum for obvious reasons.

APOLLO (Heatran) (F) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power

Next i needed a stealth rocker and the competition was between ferrothorn and heatran. Hetran won for the reasons that he is a better partner with alakzam that ferrothorn is because he can deal with mega sableye and i planned to have assault vest scizor on the team and heatran being able to eat up fire attacks was great! I run max speed and max special attack becuase im offensive stealth rock. air balloon is just a great item for heatran. I have fire blast for great stab. Flash cannon to hit fairies and more great stab. earth power is for when i predict other heatrans are coming in to take the fire blast and because i think its funny when i predict that and then the opponent starts calling me names and cursing.

DEADPOOL (Scizor) (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Technician
EVs: 108 HP / 252 Atk / 148 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- U-turn
- Pursuit

next i wanted a pursuit trapper and a special wall so i instanely thought assault vest bisharp! But haveing a serious fighting weakness to the team wasnt good so i chose scizor because he offers more priority and u turn whcih is great for mega zam and since i have heatran a serious fire weakness doesnt matter to much. The EVs are very weird i know so im definately looking for suggestions on those and a replacement move for knock off.

ROTOM (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split

Next i wanted a levitater and someone who could use volt switch and a talonflmae killer. Whos better than good old rotom wash. Im defensive rotom and ive got 8 to speed creep other rotoms,. I have wil o wisp to cripple physical attackers and hydro pump for good stab and volt switch to get alakzam in safely. Pain split for that great recovery. Leftovers is the item of choice because that little bit of recovery is nice.

Garchomp:
Nickname: Big Chomp
Attacks: earthquake, fire blast, dragon tail, toxic
Shiny: Yes
Ability: rough skin
Item: rocky helmet
EV: 248,164, 96
IV: 31/31/31/31/31/31/
Nature: impish
Gender: female

Next i wanted a scarfer who could hit hard and my old 1 was diggersby and landourous but then I realized I don't need a scarfer. I needed help with some strong physical attackers and rocky helmet chomp is great for that job!

Now for tHE REPLAYS!!

Hey! Nice team you have here.

The first thing I would suggest is to change Hidden Power Fire to Focus Blast on Mega Alakazam. Although getting rid of Ferrothorn and other Steel-type 'mons would be great for Azumarill, you already have Heatran to cover 'mons that HP Fire would. Plus, Focus Blast would help you more with Tyranitar.

I would also change Charge Beam to Shadow Ball on Mega Alakazam. Charge Beam is an unreliable way to boost your Special Attack and I think sacrificing it for more coverage is the best thing to do. Shadow Ball allows Mega Alakazam to hit 'mons that would otherwise resist its other moves such as Jirachi and Celebi.

In addition to those two changes, I would also suggest you change Dazzling Gleam to Taunt/Substitute/Encore. Dazzling Gleam doesn't do you much good if you've considered the other two changes I've already suggested because all it hits is Mega Sableye, something that can easily be handled by the rest of your team members. The move you choose comes down to your preference. Taunt allows you to stop recovery or status moves from walls. Substitute can be handy if you want to use it when forcing out an opposing Pokémon, giving you an advantageous position. It can also be helpful for Bisharp and avoiding Sucker Punches. Encore can be used to lock certain 'mons into unfavorable moves, giving you the edge). You can also opt for Calm Mind but keep in mind that Mega Alakazam has a very limited window to set up in the current metagame.

The next thing I would suggest is to change your Azumarill set to Assault Vest. You mentioned that you put Azumarill on this team to help Alakazam cover its weaknesses. I think Assault Vest would be much better here because it allows Azumarill to take hits better as well as keeping offensive pressure. The Belly Drum set is good for wall-breaking or cleaning but I think for the purposes of this team, Assault Vest is the way to go.

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Knock Off
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough

Alakazam-Mega @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Taunt/Substitute/Encore
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
I think you have a cool team here. I hope I've helped you and I wish you the best of luck!

Ok I will update the list with the changes I make to the team. thank u

still looking for suggestions.

Hey Ari the OU Master, cool team. I only have a few suggestions.

For one, SD Bisharp seems to be huge problem to your team. With only a bit of chip damage, Rotom-W dies to +2 Knock Off, then you have to outplay Sucker Punches with Heatran, or hope you don't get flinched by Iron Head with your Azu if it's Black Glasses > Life Orb.

To remedy this, i recommend running Rocky Helmet Garchomp > Scarf Lando-T. This also wears down Talonflame, Scizor, Bisharp, and punishes Scarf Landorus-T's U-Turns to support M-Alakazam.

445.png
Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 Spe
Impish Nature
- Endure
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail

Endure is nice for maximizing on recoil if you're low on HP.
You should also change your Alakazam's set to Psychic / Shadow Ball / Focus Blast / Encore, which gives you perfect neutral coverage. Encore is great for locking something into an undesirable move, and force them to waste PP or Struggle if they opt to stay in. This is nice for essentially giving you a free a turn, or providing a setup opportunity for Azumarill. You can also stall a Bisharp out of all of it's Sucker Punches, which is pretty cool.

065-mega.png
Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Encore

Psychic > Psyshock maximizes damage output against physical walls, and is really nice for getting boosted power on your STAB if you happen to copy Sheer Force with Trace.
Next, you should run more speed on Belly Drum Azumarill. The more speed you have is better for being able to go for stronger moves than Aqua Jet. You don't even outspeed Base 60s with your current spread, meaning Clefable and uninvested Scizor can outspeed you. You should also run Knock Off > Waterfall since this allows you to OHKO Ferrothorn and Amoonguss, plus you don't need to risk missing Play Rough on Slowbro and can go for the guaranteed kill.

184.png
Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 204 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Play Rough
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet

This spread allows you to outspeed uninvested Klefki, and Aqua Jet it before it can paralyze you.
Lastly, you should run Choice Band Scizor > Assault Vest for more firing power. AV is pretty subpar, and the added bulk doesn't help with much. Choice Band gets off far stronger Pursuits and hits harder Rotom-W switch-ins harder with U-Turn, which is appreciated for trying to put it in range of Azumarill's +6 Aqua Jet.

212.png
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- U-turn
- Pursuit

Superpower is nice for hitting Heatran switch-ins, which helps support M-Zam. Plus you get off huge damage on Skarmory if it Roosts on you since that removes its Flying typing.
Cool team, hope i was able to help!

Thanks a lot!! I'm updating the team now.

Hi! Nice team!

First of all i agree with Celes to make CB Scizor > AV Scizor, if you want to use an AV Steel pokèmon to tank fairy moves better i suggest you AV Metagross for more coverage.

Your Alakazam is interesting, anyway i think CM is better than Charge Beam because you have 100% boost and enough bulkyness to tank special moves like Latwins's DMs and to prepare your sweep. I think Focus Blast, Shadow Ball (or Signal Beam if you want to hit better Celebi and dont want to risk FB miss against Dark weakened pokèmons like Tyranitar, but be careful with Mega Gardevoir and Victini because you dont hit them super effectively) and Psychic.

I suggest you to change Heatran's role in the Stallbreaker's role and change Hippowdon over Scarf Landorus-T to have SR and Electrics checks.
If you are not afraid against Electrics like Thundurus and Manectric you can use Garchomp over Landorus-T but then you should use also AV or Specs Raikou over Rotom-W (but you will be without ground resists so..).
If you want to continue with Hippowdon - Rotom-W i suggest to give 263 speed to your washing machine so you are allow to Wow things like Jolly Breloom and Jolly Bisharp.

Knock Off on BD Azumarill is a good thing because it allow you to kill Ferrorthorn and Amonguss that are common switch for him, be careful when you use this pokèmon because Tank Garchomp and prioritys are very common.

I will pass you the spreads later.

Anyway, last thing, you can use also Defog Bulky Scizor if you are scared from the hazards and to tank better pokèmons like CM Clefable without Flamethrower.
If you are scared by this pokèmon you can use PShock to win Calm Mind wars and hit Tornadus-T and Chansey better (but Tank Garchomp and Hippowdon worse).

I hope i've helped you!

Here's the team fixed:

Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Stone Edge

Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe

Ty I changed to choice band scizor and I took out aunarill because I need some one to heal bell for me. I'm thinking chansey as it can also be my special wall.

UR ADVICE WAS GREAT

Oops. U have to expand to see what I said. It got caught in the quote lol

I think chansey doesnt work well with this team because she makes it slower and your team is a balanced offense, chansey works well only with stall oriented teams.
Anyway i dont think you need a heal beller because you can avoid to be statused switching Hippowdon/Rotom-W on TWave, steels on Toxic and Heatran on Wow. The only suggestion i can give you if you want to take advantage against some Scald burns is to run Chesto Berry Rest>Pain Split on Rotom-W.
