Welcome to the ORAS OU checks and counters compendium! This resource is meant to facilitate teambuilding by compiling a comprehensive list of answers for all the top Pokemon in the Viability Rankings! The list of counters is ordered by rank, with Pokémon that are ranked C+ or lower on the viability rankings being separated by a " | " to indicate their lower viability. Certain Pokemon need a specific set to answer a given threat, which is indicated with a parenthesis next to their sprite.

Ultimately this is meant to be a quick reference point to aid in finding solutions to certain matchups or Pokémon when teambuilding. Please do refer to the updated Strategy Pokédex for in-depth and detailed analyses on the roles these Pokemon play.

This thread will be focused on Pokémon who are ranked A- tier and above on the viability rankings. Pokémon that are B- tier and above may be featured in the future.
