What's up Pokemon fans! I'm dankmemesfam bringing you my RU Hyper Offense team! This is not a common strategy in the tier, given all the bulky pokemon like Blastoise and utility pokemon like Amoonguss, so it can catch some players off-guard. Currently, I'm having a few issues that i hope you guys can help solve! Thanks so much for reading!

First Glance + Teambuilding Process:
003.png

I started off with a Pokemon recently released in RU. The reason for this fall is Venusaur is complete crap without sun support. So, i needed a sun setter.
Liepard.png

Liepard is the only Prankster + Sunny Day combo in RU (to my knowledge), and despite her NU status, she seems to work fine for me.
typhlosion.png

I wanted another pokemon to benefit from the sun, so Typhlosion was an obvious choice. Scarf + Eruption works even better in the sun!

Jolteon is an insanely underrated pokemon, and i began using him on my AS cart recently in Battle Spot Singles. Despite his shallow movepool, he does get a few useful moves with help him pick off stuff like Mega Banette and Slowking.

I can't give you a reason for using Mega Glalie other than "I needed a mega lol". Seriously, he's pretty darn bad, but he does get a wide variety of coverage moves.

I really wanted an Exploud due to the good moves it gets backed by a decent special attack stat. Its coverage moves include Boomburst, Fire Blast, and Ice Beam which hit a majority of the tier.

Following the suggestions of Arifeen, these Pokemon replace Jolteon, Typhlosion, Mega Glalie, and Exploud.

Godzilla @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Leech Seed
- Sleep Powder
Venusaur was the Pokemon i built this team around. Recently, he fell to RU, so being my second favorite pokemon, i had to use him. In the sun, his speed goes to amazing levels with Chlorophyll. Giga Drain is obvious STAB, but Solarbeam is another option because of the sun. I usually use Giga Drain to recover health and in case the sun runs out. Sludge Bomb hits the fairies of the tier, Leech Seed can drain bulky pokemon, and Sleep Powder is pretty obvious.

Kat @ Heat Rock
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
Sunny Day
Encore
U-turn
Knock Off
I needed a sun setter to work with Venusaur, and Liepard is basically the only good choice in RarelyUsed. Sunny Day and Heat Rock give me the longest possible sun condition. I typically Sunny Day and U-Turn out into Typhlosion or Venusaur. Encore and Taunt can work as utility moves, but i use them the same way, so I'd be willing to swap one of them out for one of Liepard's other amazing moves to work with Prankster.

HellHound (Houndoom) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
Sucker Punch
Pursuit
Fire Blast
Dark Pulse
Houndoom, a new suggestion, works much better in the sun than Typhlosion! With access to moves like Pursuit and Sucker Punch, I get a few niche moves I lacked before! His Dark typing also lets me stop Psychics in their tracks. Fire Blast nukes everything in the sun.

Ku Kluxie (Uxie) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Sunny Day
- Memento
- U-turn
Acting in the same role as Liepard, Ku Kluxie Klan is my second sun setter. She's here for backup in case my first one goes down. I can click memento to force a switch on powerful sweepers and the U-Turn out. Stealth Rock also helps my hazard problem.

JurassicPark (Tyrantrum) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
Head Smash
Superpower
Dragon Claw
Outrage
(Sorry that biting sprite just looked way too cool!) An awesome and cool Pokemon, this new suggestion destroys everything in RU. With a scarf, however, he's still pretty slow so I have to be careful against other scarf-ers. Head Smash and Rock Head is an amazing combo! Outrage is a great move on this set if the opposing fairies are gone.

Apollo (Victreebel) @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
Solar Beam
Sludge Bomb
Growth
Weather Ball
Victreebel is a rather overlooked Pokemon in general, but I have used him before, and I'm excited to use him again! This poisonous fleshlight becomes a monster in the sun, setting up Growths and sweeping with Solarbeam. He's pretty useless outside of the sun, though. Weather Ball becomes a Fire type, Base 100 power move in the sun!

Thanks so much for reading! I look forward to seeing all your suggestions!

hi call me Cyndequil.

  • okay so first off run uxie over jolteon. uxie can act as a stealth rock user and as a sun setter as well. on top of that you don't really need jolteon as you have a scarf user and fast mons in the sun because of chlorophyll. uxie also sets pokemon set up with memento as well as give safe switch ins to your sweepers. the set should be 248 hp / 4 def / 252 spe with timid nature and sr / sunny day / u-turn / memento with heat rock.

  • typhlosion is pretty bad in ru since you have no hazard remover and it cant hit hard as well. you're better off running houndoom as psychic types threaten you a lot and houndoom can pursuit trap them as well as absorb fire type attacks and hit hard in sun. houndoom should have life orb with sucker punch pursuit dark pulse and fire blast with 4 atk / 252 spa / 252 spe with hasty nature.

  • you get 6-0ed by fletchinder so you should run scarf tyrantrum over glalie as it can clean a weakened team as well as counter fletchinder which is very dangerous on ur team. the set should have head smash superpower dragon claw and outrage with 252 atk / 4 def / 252 speed jolly nature.

  • this is an optional change but u really need another abuser of sun so i think growth victreebell works better over exploud as it forms a nice conjunction with memento uxie and encore liepard as it gives it a nice chance of setting up and sweeping the rest of the team. victreebell also is very dangerous in sun as it can break teams very easily. the set should be solarbeam sludge bomb growth and weather ball with life orb and timid nature.

  • finally run knock off on liepard over taunt as you can check psychic types as they're still very dangerous for your team if they can focus blast the houndoom.

sorry for too much changes. had to make this a viable team. hope this helped.

Editing rn with changes.
You may have made some typos, including a timid nature on an Uxie with physical and not special attacks, and leaving 4 EVs unoccupied. I'll fix that.
