Other ORAS Ubers Team

Deoxys-Speed @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Knock Off

The first thing I thought of for my Ubers team was entry-hazards. My Deoxys-Speed has Taunt so that if anyone tries to set up on Deoxys-Speed while he's setting up entry hazards, he can stop them. Knock Off is primarily for Mega-Rayquaza, to knock off it's Choice Band and a Ho-Oh's Life Orb. Stealth Rock is also very useful because Flying types are quite common in Ubers. After Stealth Rock combined with knocking off it's item, Ho-Oh is a lost against for this team.

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 212 Atk / 48 Def
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance

This Scizor's main purpose was for countering the overpowered Xerneas. Not only can it easily destroy Xerneas, but it can OHKO everything that doesn't resist Bullet Punch after Swords Dance. Swords Dance brings Scizor's power (after Mega Evolution) up to 854. Knock Off is just in case I come up against a foe that I can't just attack to kill it. Scizor can also take ExtremeSpeed from a Choice Banded Mega-Rayquaza wonderfully. (Mega Ray has been banned from Ubers)

Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Geomancy
- Flash Cannon
- Focus Blast

After making my Scizor to counter Xerneas, I decided to use Xerneas myself. Now, everyone knows everything about sweeper Xerneas with Power Herb and Geomancy: but this set still needs a bit of explaining. Now, why on earth did I give it Flash Cannon? I gave it Flash Cannon specifically to counter other Xerneas. After a Geomancy, Flash Cannon can kill an Xerneas with no boosts. I gave it Focus Blast just in case I comes up against something that I can't Flash Cannon or Moonblast: like Dialga or Ferrothorn. Focus Blast is the most important move on this set (of course, besides Geomancy) because of that.

Kyogre-Primal @ Blue Orb
Ability: Primordial Sea
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Water Spout
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Thunder

Kyogre-Primal has an amazing Sp. Atk stat as most people know: this Kyogre's Sp. Atk stat is 504: the max. I gave this Kyogre Water Spout for easy KOing, and Scald in case it's health gets low. Thunder, combined with the rain, has 100% accuracy AND a 30% chance of paralysis. Ice Beam is for Grass types like Grass-Arceus, and for punishing Gliscor and Landorus. The HP EVs are for some extra bulk, but I have been debating on whether I should keep those EVs in HP, or put them in Sp. Def. Please answer this question.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Calm Nature
- Toxic
- Flamethrower
- Wish
- Protect

At this point, I decided I had too much Offensive Pokemon, so I chose Blissey. This Blissey has Flamethrower so that it can kill Steel types like Ferrothorn that it can't Toxic. Instead of Softboiled, I gave it Wish so that it can heal other Pokemon on the team as well. Protect is not only for Wish, it's also for Toxic stalling at the same time as healing. Protect can also be used for scouting.

Arceus @ Toxic Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 Spe
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Poison Jab
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover

Only one Defensive Pokemon obviously wouldn't do, so I decided on Poison-Arceus. Poison Arceus can Will-O-Wisp to weaken Physical Sweepers like Mega-Rayquaza (man, Mega-Rayquaza would have a horrible time facing this team). (Mega Ray has been banned from Ubers.) Defog is for getting rid of entry hazards (obviously), and not only can it burn, but it can poison with Poison Jab too, if it gets lucky. If it burns with Will-O-Wisp or poisons with Poison Jab, Recover can be used to stall them as well. It can also stall with Recover after Blissey poisons the enemy Pokemon with Toxic too, if I ever have the opportunity.

What I don't understand is why use a suicide lead on a defensive team. Usually hyper offensive teams are the ones that employ suicide lead to apply pressure from the start. For a more defensive team however, it's harder to muster enough offense to pressure Defogger, which means you're playing essentially one mon short. Also if you have to use Defog, basically you get rid of everything that Deoxys-S had to suicide to set up. I would suggest these things for hazard setting: Klefki (Spikes), Ferrothorn (Spikes and SR), PDon (SR), Dialga (SR), Landorus-T (SR).
