I left pokemon for a while and I've been wanting to build a killer team, so I've put quite a bit of thought into, tested it a lot on shoddy and I think it's ready to be rated (EDIT) You can tell i've been gone a while, cus you don't need to put OU in the name anymore cus it's in the OU folder (facepalm lol). Why do so many people say it's there first RMT? does this mean they get more rates, or are there really loads of ppl with a 1st RMT, second why have ppl stolen my smiley face idea, why can't they use the light bulb or the thumbs up, or something different, I only put the smiley there, cus no one ever used the smiley, and it made it easy to find my RMT when i wanted to check up on it :(
On a more serious note, here's the team at a glance:
The team covers all the major OU threats I can think of, but I have been out of the meta-game for a while, so I'll need your tips to update me. The team is based around setting up metagross for a sweep, using a baton pass and duel screens. I've discovered metagross to be an amazing OU sweeper, because most team's aren't prepared for a metagross after a sword dance, and a rock polish, especially with his extreme bulk and duel screens up.
Tyranitar (F) @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/32 Atk/226 SDef
Adamant nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Payback
- Rest
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
A pretty standard OU lead, just kidding lol, a beastly sp.def lead very good at taking on the common sleep leads, as well as Azelf, Gengar, Heatran etc and he has sand stream to break the opponents focus sash, payback is there as it OHKO's roserade and smeargle, while crunch would not. The main reason he's on here though is to set up sand, and rocks to support metagross for a sweep, then mid game he acts as a great sp.def wall and rest with a chesto berry, he can last a while . He can also take the baton pass from Gliscor, if metagross is to weak to sweep. Sand is quite useful, as only 1 pokemon on my team is affected by it and tyranitar is a monster of a poke. Earthquake is mainly a filler move, as I have nothing better to put there, I could use roar, or taunt or something, but I'm unsure, let me know what ya think. The ev's allow him to take a focus blast from gengar, when sand is up of course.

Bronzong @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/86 Atk/80 Def/92 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion
- Reflect
- Light Screen
This is a very standard set, set up the screens, switch out, then when i'm low on health BANG, off with the time bomb and take an oponent with me. Explosion also acts as a semi phaze tool, and is also useful as a back up against pokemon like gyrados etc. Gyro ball is there for salamence, as this is my primary mence counter. Light clay to make the screens last longer. Bronzong is great for this role as he has great synergy with the team, and a great typing, which alows him to switch in and out, setting up screens, whenever he feels like it.
---
Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 speed
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Baton Pass
- Rock Polish
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
Here's the baton passer, max defence as I have rock polish to boost my speed, and I don't want to die before I pass on the goods. Earthquake is there as I like to have an attack, and Gliscor is my back up to Lucario. I generally sword dance first, as it slightly hides the fact I'm a baton passer, then I rock polish, then I baton pass / SD up again. I'm tempted to use taunt, but the main phazer I have problems with is Swampert and he can OHKO me with ice beam anyway.
---
Metagross @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 128 HP/252 Atk/128 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Iron head
- Thunderpunch
- Ice Punch
The sweeper, metagross is the best receiver for the baton pass because he has a massive attack stat, he is very bulky, he can get perfect type coverage from 4 moves, he has a great typing and team's are not prepared for a super fast metagross, with more power than a CB gross and the ability to change attacks. I used to use lucario, but teams are prepared for lucario, so he's not as effective. You may ask, why shucca berry, basically because I don't want to use life orb, as it may stop me from sweeping, and I want a back up to Mence, Gyrados and Tyranitar. As with shuca he can take a DD life orb boosted Earthquake from all 3 of them. It also helps if e.g. I miss the ice punch against a sand veil Gliscor, or if I haven't got any boosts. Iron head over meteor mash as I don't want to miss, when I'm sweeping, thanks to "Cherub Agent" for the suggestion. This guy is the success behind the whole team, and is soo effective after a couple of boosts.

Vaporeon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Surf
- Protect
Now I have 2 slots left, and I wanted a solid Gyrados counter, and someone who could take water attacks, and Vaporeon was perfect for the job, she can also counter Empoleon, Infernape etc. and heal up my team with wish. She plays a very supportive role, and although she has nothing to do with the team objective, she has become a very important member to the team, and helps take hits, in order for the team objective to be achieved.
---
Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse
- Explosion
- Fire Blast
Now all I needed was a revenge killer, I did want someone physical who could receiver an SD boost, but I also wanted someone who could take on Scizor. Jirachi would be great, but I did not want 3 steel/psychic types, so I settled for Heatran. Heatran is just a back up, who can go BANG, if I need to take something out or I want to bring in someone else. A very useful pokemon, and can also pull off a late game sweep, especially after a flash fire boost.

So there's my team, I have found it very successful, but no team is perfect, so let me know what ya think, and any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading and please rate.
