With a lack of efficent Gen.5 OU special attackers (ok not really, but still) lilligant really shines with a base 110 SP.Atk, and decent speed and defense to boot, this is a nice recipe for a special attacker. Know this is no Gengar, or alakazam, however.

With only 8 pokemon that could learn quiver dance (6 of those 8 of those aren't worth mentioning), why not take advantage of the VERY nice sweep setup move: Quiver Dance. Getting a +1 in both special stats, and speed, makes this a great setup. Now own to my personal favorite. A petal dance (120 ATK, 100 ACC) + STAB is always good. Now u might be saying "OMG UR A NOOB, PETAL DANCE SUCKS BECAUSE IT CAUSES COUNFUSION!11!" But calm down a second. Own tempo PREVENTS counfusion, meaning a VERY good sweep commencing:
Quiver Dance> 120 base power Petal Dance + STAB> Sweep Incoming
Giga Drain was Improved IMMENSELY this gen (along with drain punch), gives a nice recover, with lefties also. Leaf storm is good to use after a Quiver dance or two, because there would be no stat drop after it.
I would recomend this as a special sweeper. or a special attacker in general.
