So I'm usually really bad at creating teams, and recently I decided to try really hard to make one that works. This team has been doing pretty decent, but I want to make it better. My main problem is being unable to touch Stall, especially Mega Venusaur, but I don't like playing Stall anyway so that isn't a huge issue.
bulbear (Manectric) (M) @ Manectite
Ability: Lightningrod
bulbear (Manectric) (M) @ Manectite
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
I love this thing for how insanely fast it is. Mega Manectric can be a great check to Talonflame and Gyarados, lowering its Attack with Intimidate and threatening a KO with Volt Switch. It also can absorb Thunder Waves and other Electric Moves from the likes of Thundurus-T and beats Skarmory and Togekiss, the two main Pokemon Garchomp has trouble with. Hidden Power Ice is predictable but reliable, as Landorus, Gliscor, and many Dragons all die to it. Volt Switch and Intimidate together are too good.

whale (Garchomp) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
Garchomp is my second favorite Pokemon of all time (first is Shuckle) and this is my favorite set. Substitute enables him to set up on Mega Mawile and Rotom-Wash and anything else that tries to ruin Garchomp's sweep. Dragon Claw over Outrage because it's already limiting with only dual STAB and I don't want to become locked if I'm forced to Outrage against something immune to Ground and the opponent has a Fairy type in the back.

final (Skarmory) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
- Defog
- Roost
Both of those above guys hate two things, hazards and Mamoswine. Skarmory handles both with ease. Sturdy with Whirlwind handles any would-be sweeper and Brave Bird over Counter for reliability. Skarmory is also the only member of the team who can reliably take on Excadrill if it has Sand Rush, as everything else is outsped and dies. Roost for recovery.

zeke (Terrakion) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Quick Attack
Here's where I started to consider threats. I have an Intimidate user and a Defog user and nothing at all for Bisharp yet. If Garchomp goes down and Bisharp gets any type of Attack boost it's good game; I don't want Skarmory to lose Leftovers and get down to one HP. Few Pokemon can take a +2 Sucker Punch, but what if you force them to NOT Sucker Punch? Scarf Terrakion is here to save the day, being able to not only beat Bisharp but many other setup sweepers as well if they so happen to get to +1. Charizard, Mega Gyarados, and speedy Pokemon like Greninja all die to this monster.

loaf (Azumarill) (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
Azumarill is the perfect lure when equipped with Assault Vest. Go for a Play Rough and then hit the incoming Steel-type with a Knock Off or Waterfall. Perfect for Aegislash switch-ins, as while it doesn't KO it does enough to the point where Garchomp can finish it off. With the Assault Vest Asumarill can even take a Life Orb Thundurus-I's Thunderbolt and knock it out with Waterfall and Aqua Jet.

passhun (Heatran) (M) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Roar
- Toxic
Specially Defensive Heatran can come in on Talonflame without fearing Burn like Tyranitar does. Balloon also allows Heatran to check Excadrill instead of helping its Sand Rush like Tyranitar would. Toxic for any Latias that doesn't have Substitute, Roar for any that does. (And other defensive Pokemon, of course)
