ALL CHANGES IN THIS COLOR :O (Green)

Hello, thank you for clicking on this post. Hopefully you can rate it nicely, I will take almost any suggestions as long as I think it would be good for my team. Well, let`s begin!! By the way i don`t know if you need or want to know this, but with this team I win about 80% of the time.

The team, your very first look at them!! Passing through their Generations

Pokemon Platinum (Note: I didn`t do Pearl/Diamond because it is practically the same as Platinum.)

Let`s get a closer look :D

Gyarados (EscapeTheFate) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs:152HP 176ATK 36DEF 144 SPE
Nature: Adament
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Taunt

Gyarados has always been an amazing pokemon. Even from Pokemon Blue, with great Atk and HP he can be pretty dangerous, especially while being boosted by Dragon Dance which basically rips through almost any team.
So as a lead i start him with using a Taunt depending on the pokemon. Like if it was something like a Bronzong I would use Taunt then start setting up Dragon Dance. If they switch I simpley just use the attack that will hopefully do the most damage, or continue to set up Dragon Dance. I love how strong both attacks are with Waterfall getting STAB AND a possibility to flinch which comes in handy ALOT. Stone Edge has made me really angry with it`s ridiculous accuracy, but when it hits, people go "OMGWTFBBQHAX" So overall I think this is definatly the best lead I have ever tried. I am open to suggestions though so don`t be affraid to leave a comment.

Scizor (Metallica) @ Leftovers
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252HP 112DEF 144SDEF
Nature: Impish
- Agility
- Baton Pass
- X-Scissor
- Roost

Ahh... There is alot I can say about this beast... but I think Agili-Pass says it all. When I send this beast out, I will send him out because he is going to resist something or because I think it is time to destroy them with my Heracross. When he gets sent out, I will Agility as many times as I possibly can then I either Baton Pass, or go for the kill with X-Scissor, or Roost if I predict a switch to a counter. I would then Baton Pass to a counter to the pokemon my opponent sent out if I do have a counter for it. I ususally Pass to Heracross since he has amazing attack, when he has a status problem + the extra speed from Agility which makes him almost un-stopable.

Heatran (A D T R) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252SPE 252SPA 4HP
Nature: Naive
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Overheat
- Hidden Power (ICE)

Okay, Heatran, first of all he is the main reason for my team. Since I know I have a huge weakness to fire attacks he will be blocking most of them. Choice Scarf and max SPE EVs make him have Appx. 420 SPE, which is great! Earthpower is a good move to have on a Special Heatran well, ANY Heatran really, but since I have Choice Scarf on, i`m a little bit shaky when using it. Just incase my opponent switches into Gengar or something then I just wasted an attack. Most of the time I will use Overheat and HP Ice though because they are my most reliable attacks. After I use Overheat I usually switch because of the SPA drop. Heatran does alot of switching because of counters and stuff, but he is usually gone pretty quickly sadly. That leaves us with the last attack: Explosion I almost NEVER use this attack I use it when I can predict a switch into Blissey.

Heracross (SilverStein) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252ATK 252SPE 4DEF
Nature: Adament
- Close Combat
- Facade
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance

I LOVE Heracross he is most deffinatly my favorite pokemon. Can you guess who is going to be on my HG team? ;D Flameorb-Facade I think is most likely one of the most known combos other than Hypnosis-Dream Eater. As I mentioned on my Scizor section, Heracross will most likely be the one recieving the speed boosts. With said speed boosts he is almost un stopable. I have ridiculous Attack when it gets boosted by Guts and Flame Orb. I will Swords Dance before the Flame Orb kicks in just so it is THAT much better. Close Combat for the Blisseys and those other fools. Facade if the opponent reists some of my attacks and I just dont want to worry about accuracy. But if it is a Gengar I guess I would have to Stone Edge. I really hate the accuracy on Stone Edge but I need it to cover Gyarados trying to set up and Salamence going for the Fire Blast/Flamethrower.

Electivire (Atreyu) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 252SPE 252SPA 4ATK
Nature: Mild
- Cross Chop
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power (ICE)
- Thunderbolt

Another important character on my team because he has HUGE type coverage which works great with Expert Belt. Most people see an Electivire they will most likely think "Hmm It`s probably a Physical one -switches to Forretress-" Then I hit it with a Flamethrower they think "Darn:pirate:." Electivire plays an important role on my team becuase, he protects Gyarados from electric attacks and is quite fast. (I think) Cross Chop takes care of Blissey and other threats. Flamethrower was already mentioned before, and HP Ice is to take care of Ground types but if I think an earthquake is coming my way I simpley switch out to Gyarados then I hit it with a Waterfall. Thunderbolt is an obvious choice for its great special damage with or without STAB.

Vaporeon
@ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188Hp 252Def 68Spe
Nature: Bold
- Hidden Power (Electric)
- Surf
- Protect
- Wish

Vaporeon is quite important because he(or she) is my Bulky water type. Which can take water hits for Heatran, who is quite frail. Not much to say about the pokemon other than why I have the moves there for. HP Electric is very good for handling other Bulky waters and Skarmory sometimes. Surf is there because it is a great move for Vaporeon because it is special, it gets STAB, and hits really hard. Lastly I have Protect and Wish a basic wish suport for myself or other team mates who may really need it. Overall Vaporeon is very annoying to fight according to some people on Shoddy. I don`t mind having a stall game here or there though.

Okay, thank you for hopefully reading this!
Please rate this and suggest any thing you think would be better for this team.

DD mence loves your team. So does any infernape, set up move followed by ohkoing your whole team...that is a pretty big problem i think. I would replace electivire with a sleep talking cress to take both paralysis and sleep, which could otherwise be an annoyance. A second problem you have is no priority, giving you a major weakness to any sweeper increasing its speed. Maybe bullet punch + technician over x-scizor?

To be completly honest, I haven't run into any Salamences since I used this team but I can easily stop pokemon from setting up by using taunt on Dos and for electivire I need him to take hits for my vaporeon and he is also a late game sweeper kind of but yes what you said about scizor is true I should have went for BP instead of x-scissor I will make changes as soon as I have the chance thank you for rating!

Overall I like your team. It is a bit off of the norm, but still has some good Pokes on it. However your team is a bit slow. I'm not saying you need to change it for this reason. BP on Scizor would help though. Just be careful because most of your Pokemon I would classify as mid speed.

However, I would like to second what SquirtleSquad said. Just because you haven't run into any DD Mence doesn't mean you won't. His idea of Sleep Talk Cress is definitely a good idea.

Consider the following change with your Gyarados. Replace Leftovers with Lum Berry. This allows you to Dragon Dance against status leads, thus ensuring you're faster than them for the second turn Taunt if relevant.

Dragon Dancing on turn 1 will bluff the fact you don't have Taunt at all, and hence they will often try to status you again; Taunting on turn 1 risks them pre-switching to a Thunderbolter and forcing you out, or even just them outspeeding and getting you asleep early.

It also gives you a little extra edge against Will-o-wispers or Toxic-users intending to stall you out.
