I started this team with Magenzone/Salamences Synergy together. Zone traps Steels and hurts Waters that can be potential dangerous to Salamence, also Magnezone can switch into the Dragon/Ice Attacks aimed at Salamence. Salamence can lure out Steels that try and wall Salamence, also Salamence is immune to EQ and can take Fire and Fightning attacks with ease. I also liked the CeleTran Synergy so that was my next two. Celebi can lure out fires and handle with anything bulky that can hurt my team and either outstall or kill. When a fire attack comes my way, Heatran is brought out and gets a nice boost. Heatran has a Fightning and Ground weakness that Celebi handles nicely. Also Heatran resists all of Celebis weakness's as well. I picked Porygon2 just for the fact it can be a huge threat to major OU pokemon in this metagame. Trace makes it one defensive Duck, which handles the likes of Salamence/Gyarados/Heatran/Vaporeon/Jolteon with ease. Last but not least, I needed a lead who could be an Anti-Lead to most leads. Jirachi was that answer for me. I needed a quick SR, and something that can kill all or most leads. That is Team Syngery, please rate and help me with it. Thank you.

jirachi.png

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 82 HP/252 Atk/176 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Fire Punch
- Thunderpunch
---
The most common suicide leads, Azelf and Aerodactyl, are both cleanly 2HKOed by Iron Head, and with Jirachi's Serene Grace booting Iron Head's flinch rate, this means that 60% of the time these leads won't have the chance to lay down their Stealth Rock, and the remainder of the time, they won't be able to do anything otherwise such as attack, lay down a screen, or explode. Against bulky leads I usually SR and switch out to Celebi. I decided not to use Trick because I want Jirachi to come back later in the game and help out.

Magnezone.png

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Signal Beam
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
---
The Speed boost allows Magnezone to switch into Gengar's Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, or Hidden Power Ice, outspeed it, and then strike back with a STAB Thunderbolt. This particular Magnezone also has the benefit of outpacing Gyarados and Salamence before a Dragon Dance. Perhaps the most important advantage of this set is that it outruns every Steel without a Choice Scarf, including Swords Dance Lucario and all versions of Scizor. I also picked Signal Beam over Explosion to help with Latias who could be devastating to this team.

salamence.png

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 236 HP/64 Atk/94 Spd/116 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
---
Salamence's spectacular offenses often mask its more than decent defensive abilities, which this specially bulky set attempts to take advantage of. This is a more defensive set than the previous ones and pivots on being able to Roost after a single attack and effectively set-up Dragon Dances. I picked Claw over Outrage because I am not running Lum Berry. Overall this thing can destroy teams after 2-3 DD's.

celebi.png

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/38 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Recover
- Leech Seed
- Grass Knot
- Earth Power
---
With Recover and solid base 100 defenses, Celebi is an excellent candidate for a defensive set. Leech Seed will quickly frustrate most of its opponents, and Recover just makes life harder for them. Grass Knot to handle the bulky grounds and Swampert. Testing Earth Power over HP Fire/Ice/Psychic atm to handle Heatran.

heatran.png

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Will-o-wisp
- Substitute
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
---
The idea behind this set is trickery: first of all, Heatran is one of the best in the game at forcing switches, due to his nearly universal coverage, great typing, and frequent use of Choice Scarf, so it is not difficult to get a Substitute up. Will-o-Wisp to get some Physical Sweepers damaged. Fire Blast and Earth Power for Special Moves.

porygon2.png

Porygon2 @ Leftovers
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP/216 Def/40 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
---

With monstrous offensive threats such as Gyarados, Salamence, and Heatran looming in every corner there is almost no single Pokemon that can reliably counter them all at the same time. However, one brave Pokemon still stands strong as being a reliable option to combatting all three of them, that Pokemon is Porygon2. Also can switch into Jolteon, Vaporeon and anything with Levitate. This defensive duck was the start of this team. Can easily counter alot. Boltbeam for almost perfect coverage. Wave to get a Status, and Recover to be more annoying.

Overall the team is solid but there are a few tweaks that can make it really good.

First off, Porygon2 is the only real counter you'll ever need for Gyarados, which allows you to free up some space on jirachi and celebi.

For Jirachi, I would drop Thunderpunch for trick to help you stop threats like Suicune, which you list as a problem in your threat list. Speaking of your threat list, you list Draco Meteor as a move to check pokes like Gyarados and Machamp. Is your Mence a DD or Mix version?

Celebi, imho, is not even necessary for this team. Its really only doing the same thing as Celebi, and I think this spot will be much better served by something like Rotom-H to help counter stuff like agiligross and fighters, as well as switch in on ground attacks aimed at Heatran and Magnezone. For your team, however, I think the charge boosting set will do you a lot of good.

Rotom-H@Leftovers
Levitate
Timid
EVs: 64 HP, 232 SpA, 212 Spe
-Charge Beam
-Shadow Ball
-Substitute
-HP Fighting

All rotoms can use this set, but Rotom-H is most useful for scaring steels. This also gives you a new sweeper that is very effective against stall teams and Blissey, who gives you trouble.

For Heatran, Toxic is much more useful than WoW to weaken bulky waters that might stand in the way of a Salamence sweep. With these changes I think the team does a better job of covering your threats and posing a greater one to your opponent. Good luck!

Sorry I wasnt done with the Threat list and had to save it fast before someone posted. Its updated with everything right now.

If you dont mind please recheck that threat list.

Also Heatran's WoW has saved me from Machamp/Weavile/Mamoswine/TTar sweeps.

The only real big threat is my team is Heracross weak, but Heracross is mainly Scarfed or Banded, so I'll have to be good at predicting what move Hera is using.

Solid team, just a few things need to be fixed.

First of all, Jirachi is certainly a great lead, possibly the most effective lead to use in this metagame. But I really feel that Trick and U-Turn are needed on Anti-Lead Jirachi for it to reach its full potential. You will find that U-Turn is great for scouting on the first turn (if nessecary, depends on your opponents lead) and Trick will help you later in the battle if Jirachi is still alive. Also, there are certain leads in which Tricking a scarf onto them would be a much better option than trying to flinch them with Iron Head.

As for Heatran, I feel that he could function much better as a Pokemon on your team if you ran a Life Orb Sweeping set rather than the moveset you are using at the moment. Life Orb Heatran is seriously overlooked but it can deal great damage to a lot of common Pokemon and even puts a stop to Blissey. The moveset I would suggest using is as follows:

Heatran @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Naive
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 6 Atk
Moveset:
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Taunt

There are many viable moves for the last moveset such as HP Ice, HP Grass and Dragon Pulse, but Taunt lets you fuck with Blissey and Fire Blast whatever switches in. With Life Orb, Fire Blast from Heatran deals good damage to practically anything, even if said Pokemon resists Fire type attacks.

Lastly, I feel that you should consider HP Fire on Celebi over Earth Power. Scizor is such a common switch-in to Celebi and HP Fire deals a huge blow to Scizor's and can usually score you a quick KO, giving you a big advantage in the battle. Earth Power works too, though. I can see how it would be good for predicting a Heatran switch.

That's about it, interesting team and good luck!

Signal Beam works better on Magnezone. It prevents Celebi/Latias/Alakazam from switching in on it.

On Celebi im testing HP Fire/Psychic/Earth Power atm.

Sweet team overall.

Hmm Signal beam on Zone? I guess it hits Celebi an Latias but on latias it wont be doing incredible amounts prob 3HKO

Well you mention your problem with Heracross... And by simply adding Zen Headbutt to your jirachi in place of thunder punch you can either hope to outpredict it/ threaten a revenge kill (I said thunderpunch because you dont need it for gyara since your running pory 2 and magnezone and ice punch can help with ghosts). Zen headbutt does a min of about 93 percent to Heracross with a standard scarf set meaning a OHKO is essentially guaranteed after SR damage. Also, no heracross minus one BP'd agility can hope to outspeed you.

i would use discharge over t-bolt on P2 it adds paralasis and leaves you with the option to use psychic which would ohko heracross.

other than that pretty good team

Would Discharge still be a 1hko on Standard Gyara?
If so I'd do that and give Heatran Toxic.
I think it OHKO's all of gyara's normal ev spreads after stealth rock. Maybe not bulky, but I think it does. Either way it will just do less to pory if it attacks. Discharge is generally a better option unless you need the boosted power for some other threat, though I cant think of one off the top of my head...
