OU Better, Harder, Faster, Stronger

My experience with OU play has been less than stellar since my recent emergence on the circuit. Realistically I'm a pretty big n00b only truly playing competitively for about six months, so I can use all the help that I can get. The main thing that I wanted this team to be able to do is have some decent bulk but also throw some speed into the equation. Then I noticed Uxie, a commonly overlooked Pokemon due to It's lackluster offensive abilities. But It seemed to be everything that I needed in a lead, speed, and bulk. So looking at the bigger picture Uxie is a great lead with Pokemon that can take advantage of the SR and pressure It puts on the opponent with Trick. So without further adieu I give you...
Better, Harder, Faster, Stronger

480.png

Uxie @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
252 HP/ 104 Def/ 152 Spe
Nature: Impish
-Trick
-Stealth Rock
-U-turn
-Thunder Wave

Uxie is truly an unexpected lead in OU, and most people don't know what to expect. With a Choice Scarf Uxie outspeed's all Pokemon with base 130 speed such as Crobat and Aerodactyl, and once tricked into a useless move such as taunt you can go in for the kill, or stay in and paralyze the switch in for some added annoyance. But this Pokemon isn't only for quickly Tricking the opponent, It has enough bulk on both sides to set up SR on just about every lead in the OU metagame.

Lucario @ Choice Specs
Ability: Inner Focus
4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
-Aura Sphere
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power (Rock)
-Vacuum Wave

Lucario and Uxie make great partner's. Lucario resists all of Uxie's weakness, while Uxie resists 2/3 of his. Considering that most of Lucario's counter's are physically based Specs'Cario tears straight through the opposition. But It is easily walled by the likes of Blissey and is crippled by Blissey carrying T-wave. So this requires Lucario to have physical partners to deal with the likes of Blissey.

scizor.png

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
176 HP/ 100 Atk/ 232 SpD
Nature: Adamant
-Bullet Punch
-U-turn
-Superpower
-Pursuit

Scizor helps out Lucario with special walls such as Blissey, as well as being the second most competent revenge killer in the game. He's also a good at drawing out those Steel killers like Magnezone, and Heatran which I can switch in my own Heatran on. It also appreciates the SR that Uxie gets up so well. Otherwise there isn't much else to describe about the OU of OU.

Heatran.png

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
4 Atk/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
Nature: Naive
-Explosion
-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-Hidden Power (Grass)

Heatran and Scizor go together like bread and butter. Scizor draws out those Fire based attacks that Heatran adores so much. I chose HP (Grass) to help take down Swampert, because I've honestly had the most trouble with that Pokemon since I've started really playing. The main problem with that is predicting properly.

Dugtrio.png

Dugtrio @ Choice Band
Ability: Arena Trap
252 Atk/ 40 Def/ 216 Spe
Nature: Jolly
-Earthquake
-Sucker Punch
-Stone Edge
-Pursuit

Realistically with the weaknesses of this team I felt like Dugtrio was the only option. It's speedy and has a mediocre attack, and although It lacks in the bulk department, with proper prediction this Pokemon can be a beast on the play field. Though it is kinda weak it is a needed addition, I think. Plus any Pokemon that looks like a dick is okay in my book. x'D

Vaporeon.png

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
188 HP/ 252 Def/ 68 Spe
Nature: Bold
-Surf
-Toxic
-Protect
-Wish

Vaporeon and Dugtrio seem to complement eachother fairly well. Plus, I needed a little bit of stall-a-bility. With Vaporeon I can keep much needed Pokemon in the fight a bit longer, which is helpful with that pesky LO draining my precious Scizor's health.

All changes will be made in this format.

i think 4 choiced pokemon on the same team is really bad, and the ev's on your scizor are bad aswell because you are just going to be switching into heatran or vaporeon when you perdict the fire attack so you dont need the special defence and the moves on the scizor should be changed to Swords dance, bug bite, bullet punch, and super power( or pursuit) because the moves you have are designed for the choice band set

Alright, there seems to be a fair amount of things to fix on this team.

First off you have three revenge killers, which is completely unncessary. So here are my recomendations for each

-Scizor should probably have Leftovers, and I would recommend that you use Swords Dance over Pursuit, as you already have Dugtrio using Pursuit. And out of curiosity, what is the significance of your Scizor's EV spread?

-Heatran should not use a Scarf, because the point of Scarfing Heatran is to make him a revenge killer. Instead I think you should give him a Life Orb. You should test Dragon Pulse over HP Grass, because your heatran is completely walled by Dragons.

-Vaporeon, you should consider using HP Electric over Toxic, so you aren't walled by other Water types.

That's all for now, I'll post more later.

As previously stated, four Choiced pokemon is a bit much. The amount of switching that would be taking place leaves your team open to residual damage from Stealth Rock, Spikes, and poisoning from Toxic Spikes. If you don't want to get rid of the amount of Choice items, a Rapid Spinner would be good to clear the field of entry hazards. I'd recommend Forretress because it takes neutral damage from Stealth Rock and is uneffected by Toxic Spikes. Also, it has some natural bulk to take switching in to clear the field.
I don't see why you'd be running a EV spread for an Uber Trapper set from Smogon. A revenge killer would need a good amount of Attack EVs, and just 100 EVs won't cut it. I recommend an Atk EV of 252 for maximum results as a revenge killer.

your team is running a lot of steel, which gives you a major fighting and ground weakness. Salamence and Gyrados can switch in on Scizor, choice locked eq dugtrio, lucario, and sometimes Heatran, and vaporeon and be a problem. LO Mixape and berry machamp give your team heartburn if they can clear vaporeon. Shuca berry on heatran may help. Your team also has nothing that uses a stat-boosting move or substiute; you'll notice that if you mispredict several times during a match, your opponent will wear you down and force you to make bad choices as he switches in counters.

Your uxie lead is not inviable, but loses to many common leads that choose to attack immediately, like scarf jirachi, empoleon, sometimes heatran, that don't mind being tricked.

My suggestion would be to replace vaporeon with resttalk suicune, and possibly replace scizor with a rotom form to add in more status and a fighting immunity.

Hello

Seeing the rates before me said that 4 choice users are overkill I suggest dropping them down to 3 or 2. The first that you should cut would be choice specs lucario seeing that the only stuff he can revenge kill can be handled easily by Heatran I would drop it for an LO Starmie who can pretty much hurt what lucario is designed to hurt and can lure out Blissey and go into heatran so you could explode on her or set up with a scizor sweep, though blissey's do carry flamethrower sometimes. The second choiced user to cut would have to be Dugtrio. I suggest using a scarfed flygon over him to help patch up with your ground weakness.

As for your lead if your using a scarfed lead why not just go with a classic Jirachi lead? seeing that he can do what uxie is designed to do and can revenge kill better and dent stuff later with iron-head or trick scarf into a wall.

Next would be the scizor spread , I myself use am SD scizor and the spread I've used is the Special Defensive set:
252Hp/80Atk/176 SpD
with the moveset: roost/bullet punch/swords dance/brickbreak
It can set up on vaporeons, swamperts and magnezones lacking HiddenPower fire while roosting off the damage.

Well that's all I have for now Good Luck :D
