OU Competitive All Dark Team

Weavile (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
- Night Slash
- Taunt
---My lead/leader. He counters so many setup-ers and hits a lot of fragile leads first and hard. Simple Moveset, EVs, focus sash lets him often OHKO pokemon with priority. Great overall.

Tyranitar (M) @ Chople Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
---My sweeper/tank. Can wreak entire teams, like any Tyranitar, especially DD-tar. Sets up sandstorm for my Cacturne haxing, and can take a lot of abuse thanks to special defense boost and awesome stats. More creative EVs have been in progress, new item perhaps, any suggestions would be appreciated. =)

Houndoom (M) @ Wise Glasses
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Flamethrower
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Nasty Plot
---A surprise Sweeper, has pretty good type coverage, can scare out a scizor who cannot OHKO usually, definitely not faster, and can have a chance to Nasty Plot if I switch into the oh-so-annoying bug-steel monster. Fast, strong, great. Immunities help a lot too, one with a boost. A new Item would be awesome, b/c right now its just generic crap.

Sharpedo (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall
---A fast, surprising physical sweeper who can dish out some major damage and is really good at picking off almost dead physical sweepers by either chasing them out or killing them, with an attack or sometimes rough skin. Adds some more variety to the whole dark thing.

Absol (M) @ Scope Lens
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Night Slash
- Psycho Cut
- Stone Edge
- Thunder Wave
---Crit hit abuse to the max. Pretty much, and obviously, the idea is to paralyze anything faster, then well abuse crit hits. A 33.3% chance is really nice. But looking for any new fourth move (sucker punch/swords dance opinion?) or a new poke of the dark type to replace even. Considering honchkrow, and opinions on that welcome.

Cacturne (M) @ Brightpowder
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
---Another haxer, but with evasion. Stack sand veil with brightpowder and you have death for everyone. He subs to avoid status, swords dances to kill stuff, and then predicts. Attack=Sucker, Not attack=Focus, Anything=Death. I love him to death. =D

Any and all opinions are welcome and asked for. Suggestions wanted. Just try to keep all pokemon suggestions of the dark type, and preferably all suggestions be good. =)

Low Kick>Brick Break on Weavile because most srtup leads (which you are trying to counter) are heavy and therefore it will have more base power.

Scizor + Machamp > This team.

Use Defensive rotom with 252 hp/ 42 SpA / 210 def with will-o-wisp and Reflect and two attackng moves over Houndoom, in OU, houndoom is far too frail to set up and invite a free switch in to blissey, forcing you to switch out houndoom , only making you take more stealth rock damage. Also you can try psycho shift cresillia with flame orb and rest + Sleep Talk to mess with every thing physical in addition to cress, if that s the caes, then drop will-o-wisp and make rotom a dual screener to enable tyranitar to set up DD more effectively.Alternatively cres can be made into a dual screener.

Give Tyranitar Bibari berry, scarf the sharpedo to revenge salamence/latias(non-scarf)

Try some pictures next time so your team looks a little more interesting.
Other than that very interesting and probably effective theme.

A few suggestions:

1)Use Fake Out over Taunt on Weavile, Taunting stuff will not really help this team.

2)You can deal with Scizor and Machamp to a degree without breaking the theme, Spirtomb. Use this set:

Spirtomb @ Leftovers
Calm
252 HP / 108 SDef / 124 Def / 24 SAtk
-Shadow Ball
-HP Fire
-Pain Split
-Will-o-Wisp / Phycic

Slightly Specialized for your team but still very good.

Shadow Ball because you already have enough dark, and to hit Machamp if you don't use phycic. HP Fire destroys unexpecting Scizors. Pain Split for Recovery.

In the last slot you should test all three. Will-o-Wisp kinda conflicts with HP fire and will invite Heracross in, who will quite frankly destroy you except if you use phycic in the last slot, whic will also help against other fighters that pose a threat.

3) But Babri Berry on Tyranitar. you will be seeing more Bullet Punch that Fighting moves any day. Also Fire Punch over Earthquake. The rest of you team will have a much easier time with Scizor outta the picture.

Edit: Ya Spirtomb in for Houndoom

Anyway nice theme and good luck

If your willing to change Absol into Honchkrow, try this set out. Its supposed to specially based, because most of your team is Physical.

Honchkrow @ Life Orb/Wise Glasses
Naive, 252 SpeA, 252 Speed, 4 Hp/Attack

Calm Mind/ Nasty Plot
Heat Wave
Dark Pulse
Icy Wind/Superpower

So the point of this set is to break any walls your facing. CM or NP provide Amazing Stat boosts. Calm Mind gives you a SpeD boost, but doesn't boost your SpeA 2 stages. Nasty Plot gives you the insanely powerful SpeA of Honchkrow, but doesn't give you as much bulk. They both have Pro's and Con's.

Heat Wave is for Steel, Ice pokes who wanna stop Honchkrow's fun. Dark Pulse is for STAB. Icy Wind lowers the opponents speed and gets a super effective hit on other flying and ground types. Icy Wind can especially hurt dragons also. Intimidate doesn't affect it so with a +1 or +2 speA Icy Wind against Flygon, Salamence, Dragonite, and Gliscor, its bye-bye. Superpower is for Blisseys, Heatrans, Tyranitars, and Snorlaxes, who can be a problem for Honchkrow. Icy Wind vs Superpower is your opinion, but IMO i think Icy Wind is better. It is invaluble against Gliscor and Dragons. Calm Mind vs Nasty Plot is your opinion too, but IMO i would pick CM for the extra bulk.

Your T-Tar has almost no bulk, go for a Ev spread like this,
252 Hp, 40 Attack, 216 SpeD.
This ev spread comes from the strategy dex. It allows you to live a Timid Life Orb Gengar Focus Blast 100% of the time. It also allow you to wall other special attackers. Plus sandstorm increases your SpeD so thats a bonus. Change the set to a Curse-Tar. That gives you a recovery option and a stat boosting option which helps your defense and attack.

I've switched out absol for a Drapion with Toxic SPikes, Earthquake, Night Slash, and Cross Poison, with sniper adamant holding scope lens 252Speed 252Att 4Hp. Tyranitar has Fire Punch and Babiri thanks guys. I think I'm keeping Taunt on Weavile, shuts down so many opposing lead set ups and hurts pretty much anything not choiced. Low Kick is a definite possibility. Any further suggestions should include these changes. =) Thanks a lot and sorry for the lack of pictures polywrath! =P

I agree with the spiritomb switch out, but for your tyranitar, I would say to go with life orb as your item and aqua tail as your 4th move.

Earthquake gives great coverage, but will rarely be more powerful than crunch or stone edge, and aqua tail takes care of more of his counters, particularly with a life orb.

As far as the berries, they really only deal with specific counter, scizor or mach- infernape. Assuming that you will be using this team against other monotyped teams, the chances that you will need the berry are much lower, and for the most part, they will either have scizor or not, you are better off having a guaranteed sweep the rest of the time, especially with dusknoir as a scizorcounter/support
