Hey everyone, this is my first stab at a 6th gen team so feel free to tear it to shreds.
Purpose: The purpose of this team is to function as a simple stall team designed to cripple the opponent over time. Ditto acts as the anti-sweeper. Many stall teams fail because the opponent can set up on them easily. This team encourages the opponent to set up, so that ditto can use their abilities. (I'm aware that most competent opponents will be wise about setting up around a ditto but he's too fun for me not to center a team around).
The team:
Individually:
Aggron@Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy (Filter at Mega)
EVs: 252HP/252Def/4Atk
Adamant Nature
-Iron Head
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Toxic
Aggron is my opener. He's in there to set up stealth rock and to mega evolve. If the other lead is a special attacker or fire type, switch to Vaporeon. He's great here for when the opponent is trying to set up Malamar with Superpower (or anyone with Superpower), as it's an opportunity to throw in Ditto. Aggron has toxic due to the stalling nature of the team and the rest of his moveset is for simple damage.
Vaporeon@Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252HP/252SpDef/4SpAtk
Calm Nature
-Wish
-Protect
-Scald
-Toxic
Vaporeon is solid. He's my go-to when someone opens with something fire-type or something that uses SpAtk. Again, due to the nature of the stall team, he has toxic and scald so that he can inflict damage over time. Scald is his main STAB as well and wish and protect are there for the fun staller vs staller battles.
Ferrothorn@Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252HP/252SpDef/4Atk
Sassy Nature
-Leech Seed
-Toxic
-Protect
-Power Whip
Ferrothorn is another one designed as a SpDef wall. I chose to use toxic/protect/leech seed over rapid spin here but I'm not sure whether that was the right decision. Additionally, I chose Power Whip as my STAB over Gyro Ball since we have steel attacks coming from Aggron. Ferrothorn can step in for Vaporeon against lightning attacks and again, is there to stall the opponent and keep them hemorrhaging.
Aegislash@Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252HP/252Atk/4Def
Adamant Nature
-Sacred Sword
-Shadow Sneak
-King's Shield
-Swords Dance
Typical Aegislash. The nature of his build allows him to take hits and be able to dish out hits. I can't rely on poison and burns to rip through the opponent's entire team so he has some STAB attacks here. I used Sacred Sword>Iron Head since Iron Head is on Aggron. He's also very functional to switch in against poison/normal/fighting attacks when I can see them coming.
Latios@Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252SpAtk/252Spe/4HP
Timid Nature
-Dragon Pulse
-Psyshock
-Thunderbolt
-Toxic
Something on this team needs to deal damage. Latios is my special sweeper. I was between Dragon Pulse and Draco Meteor but I don't like that Draco Meteor causes you to be a 1 hit wonder. He has Thunderbolt as I need something to shoot down opponents with wings.
Ditto@Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 252HP/252Spe/4SpDef
Naive Nature
-Transform

My lovable slimeball. He's the anti-sweeper. I played around with him in 5th gen a little bit (I've never been huge into competitive play) and I've watched him sweep through an entire team of 6 pokemon with the opponents own moves. It's a great feeling. Past the lovey-dovey stuff, there's not much to say about him. He's the failsafe in my stall team. Should any opponent try to set up a sweeper such as Volcarona/Charizard/Garchomp/etc, he's there to turn the game around. Additionally, it's a functional method to use 2 megas on a team.
