Choice Scarf Spore Lead

The Goal: Use my dual leads to get a good start and then capitalize upon that start with pokemon that are highly threatening.

Breloom (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Superpower
- Stone Edge
- Seed Bomb
---
My awesome lead pokemon. Smart opponents will switch into a sleep talker but most just take the spore. If they switch into a sleep talker I'm not really in that much trouble anyways since having a sleep talker out there that soon, asleep, is not really a good thing for them and I can switch in whatever can exploit their rather limited move pool. The only common lead that outspeeds this is Aerodactyl, by one point. Fortunately Aerodactyl's usual rock/ground combination is resisted by Breloom so I'll probably just go for the kill by attacking. It will probably dry taunt or stealth rock so I will hopefully force it to switch out at 1 HP...which isn't really that good when you think about it but it's not that bad either. This thing can do a little bit of hurt with superpower but its most important role is to neutralize the opponent's lead pokemon and make sure they always have at least one pokemon sleeping on their team which is effectively a KO. Also this thing counters DD Gyarados assuming it has an adamant nature and I have stealth rock up.
The Real Lead

Metagross @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/236 Atk/12 Def/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Explosion
---
After sporing my opponent I switch into my *real* lead, Metagross! Here I forgo the bullet punch because it is doubtful I'll face a focus sasher. Stealth rock and explode or KO, Metagross will do his job well against almost anything that comes in.
Custom DD Tyranitar

Tyranitar (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 196 Atk/64 Def/248 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch
---
This is...um...my DD Salamence counter. Basically bait an outrage by sacrificing either Gyarados or Latias switch this thing in and stone edge. The EVs are designed to where I'm guaranteed to survive one outrange from a DD Salamence assuming no stealth rock, and I'm counting on Breloom to prevent stealth rock from getting up. I felt like making this thing have the ability to bring forth threats of its own so I gave it dragon dance. Scizor is no fun but, assuming no prior damage, a CB bullet punch won't be able to OHKO and I can OHKO back with fire punch. Jolly nature and the given speed EVs allows this thing to outspeed positive natured base 115 speed pokemon, which is helpful against things like Azelf and Gengar. The downside a pretty big drop in attack power but since I'll be able to get the surprise OHKOs on frail sweepers and still be a beast besides I think it is worth it. This thing is probably the pokemon I feel least comfortable with on the team. I'm thinking maybe a DS Bronzong would bring more to the team but I'm just not sure.
SD Lucario

Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Extremespeed
- Ice Punch
---
SD Lucario with ice punch. Not only does this pokemon usually get an opportunity to set up and inflict serious pain, it is quite powerful even without a swords dance. Ice punch just has lots of OHKO opportunities and of course with stone edge there is always the accuracy issue...
DD Gyarados

Gyarados (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake
---
My opponent, unlikely to have stealth rock on the field, is going to have an even harder time against this Gyarados. I don't know exactly why I put earthquake on this thing but I like being able to OHKO Empoleon. People tend to assume this thing doesn't have earthquake so a lot of times they will switch in pokemon that are weak to such. Also stone edge has horrible accuracy so I always want to avoid that if I can! Unfortunately Jolteon can switch in on this thing, OHKO with charge beam, and proceed to do heavy damage to my team. I don't feel like making this one jolly though because I wouldn't be able to OHKO a lot of pokemon.
CM Latias

Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Dragon Pulse
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Fire]
---
This is my special sweeper. Latias is a powerful pokemon and I saw that my team was inviting it with open arms so I threw it in. I've tried defensive variants and I just never saw the point. It was too easily blocked off with steel type pokemon and Scizor was a major problem. This one kills the Scizor, does decently against Skarmory and other steels, and can sweep a lot better overall. I'm not sure but I don't even think CS Magnezone can do much to this thing. If my Metagross explodes then I usually switch this thing in as it is usually good at dealing with whatever it faces. I absolutely love the pursuit weakness. If a CB Tyranitar or a CB Weavile kills this thing then I just switch in Lucario.
Summary: So on this team I didn't focus on good synergy and decent pokemon but rather passable synergy and good pokemon. The team is doing pretty good. Originally I made a lot of mistakes such as giving Latias HP Water alongside Surf and was struggling against things like Scizor and Skarmory. I fixed the mistakes and replaced Cresselia with Tyranitar and now it is doing much better. Still I just feel like it has lots of weaknesses to things like Gengar, Aerodactyl, DD Salamence, Jolteon, and others. For some reason my teams that use more cookie cutter pokemon tend to be weaker than my more creative and wacky teams. I just need general advice.
Advice would be appreciated.
