Dragonite flies higher than ever before thanks to Terastallization! Backed up by solid natural bulk bolstered by Multiscale, Dragonite becomes a fearsome OU sweeper. With Tera Blast Flying, Dragonite shatters would-be checks like Great Tusk and Zamazenta, completely melts Pokemon like Primarina and Dragapult, and muscles through bulky walls like Moltres and Alomomola. Earthquake complements Tera Blast Flying, being able to hit foes like Garganacl and Kingambit. The last move of choice is Roost, which allows Dragonite to keep itself healthy to grab multiple Dragon Dances. Zapdos and Rotom-Wash completely wall this set and threaten to retaliate with Thunder Wave and Will-O-Wisp, so Pokemon that can handle them like Raging Bolt are much appreciated. Gholdengo is another phenomenal partner for Dragonite, thank to its ability to take on Kyurem, which can otherwise tank a +1 Tera Blast and threaten Ice Beam back. Gholdengo does well versus many physical walls like Dondozo and Corviknight, which can greatly stifle Dragonite.

Dank der Terakristallisierung steigt Dragonite höher denn je! Mit seiner ohnehin starken natürlichen Defensive, die durch Multiscale weiter verstärkt wird, wird Dragonite zu einem furchterregenden Sweeper im OU-Metagame. Mit Tera Blast (Flug) zertrümmert es vermeintliche Antworten wie Great Tusk und Zamazenta, schaltet Pokémon wie Primarina und Dragapult aus, und arbeitet sich sogar durch massige Walls wie Moltres und Alomomola. Earthquake ergänzt Tera Blast (Flug) perfekt, da es Ziele wie Garganacl und Kingambit trifft. Als letzte Attacke wird Roost gespielt, damit Dragonite sich zuverlässig heilen und mehrere Dragon Dances setzen kann. Zapdos und Rotom-Wash wallen dieses Set allerdings komplett und drohen mit Thunder Wave oder Will-O-Wisp. Daher sind Partner wie Raging Bolt, die diese beiden sicher unter Druck setzen können, äußerst wertvoll. Gholdengo ist ein weiterer hervorragender Partner, da es Kyurem zuverlässig handhabt, eines der wenigen Pokémon, das einen +1 Tera Blast überlebt und mit Ice Beam zurückschlagen kann. Gholdengo performt zudem sehr gut gegen viele physische Walls wie Dondozo und Corviknight, die Dragonite ansonsten stark ausbremsen würden.
