- Roost will be used if Dragonite is still alive after first turn and taken damage and to heal up life orb
- Earthquake will be used when Outrage isn't the proper time, to prevent confusion, and also for fire types.

:D Thanks for the help everyone!!

Interesting team but here are some recommendations:

Roserade ~ Rest really doesn't make sense on it. Yea it can switch out but it's not reliable. Switch it for sleep powder.

Aerodactyl ~ Switch leftovers for life orb. And change the nature to adamant. It's fast enough already.

Mismagius ~ Seems like you're using it as a sweeper. I would switch Mismagius for a LO gengar as it easily outclasses it.

Starmie ~ A look at your team shows that entry hazards don't really affect anything besides Dragonite. I would switch rapid spin for thunderbolt.

Magnezone ~ I run a magnezone and I use a scarf set. It works very well because only other scarfs and base 115 speed pokes outspeed it. Then I would change magnet rise for explosion.

Dragonite ~ The set looks fine as is.

You said you struggle with weavile and TTar. Easy fix. Run a LO MixApe. Close combat easily OHKO's those two. I would switch aerodactyl in favor of it. Here's the set:

395.png

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SAtk / 192 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Fire Blast
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Edit: guddagudda, it's just a suggestion after all. He doesn't have to use it. I think the descriptions are fine but a counter list would be great.

Please expand the descriptions for each Pokemon. If you put them on your team, you should be able to explain why you chose them, and what their role is, etc. for more than a few sentences.

Furthermore, you don't have to give an in-depth list, but tell me what Pokemon you've found to be troubling to your team. This greatly helps in getting good recommendations.

Edit: and at Elite_Trainer_U, it's a full recovery option, so maybe we should wait to see the exact roles and counters this team has experienced before you decide to replace a recovery move with a status-inflicting one.

The Starmie / Magnezone / Dragonite combo is really solid, but I think the other half of the team fails to support them well. Toxic spikes don't do much for them, and your Aero is just taking space really. I'd run Starmie as a lead, and replace Aero for a SR Metagross. The combo beats most leads (ie go to machamp on the payback) and has more offensive potential. If you chose to do this, Starmie is best off running life orb and max SpA. Metagross patches up your Weavile/Tyranitar troubles as well. From there, just run a Spikes Roserade. Spikes really help Dragonite get KOs, and Roserade can also check Suicune and Starmie with its special defense. The LO set or the calm set onsite both work well. Also, if you keep missy, just run HP fighting because Tyranitar completely walls it, otherwise Gengar's hypnosis, pain split, and/or focus blast are far more useful.

Suggestions in short:
-Starmie as a LO lead with Metagross over Aero.
-Roserade as a Spikes set (either LO or the calm set) Also might want to consider scarf as you fall to set up users.
-Make missy Sub/Nasty Plot/Shadow Ball/Hp Fighting to beat Ttar or switch to Gengar.

Hmm, i actually don't mind this layout of yours. It's very quick, and to the point. Highlighting the great aspects of the poke's abilities as key roles within your team.
First off, I enjoy your lead set and how it works. Very nice.
Secondly, this may sound weird but how about trying out a Choice Band Aerodactyl? Jolly nature, @CB, with the same EV spread but just a bit of a different moveset. The same moves except for roost to be changed with Dragon Claw. This makes Aero a nice midgame sweeper as well as being able to set up rocks. He is a threat for reasons being:
-His speed
-His ability to use Dragon moves on the vast dragon population in OU
-His ability to switch things up and go for an EQ catching a steel type off guard as it switches in expecting the dragon move.
Anyways, just an idea.

I think mismagius could be changed with a nice sub set rotom-w, or a sub LO gengar perhaps. I think either one of them should carry hp fire as well, for once your magnezone dies off you have no fire moves at all.

I would change Starmie to having hydro pump/surf (preference), ice beam, thunderbolt, and rapid spin/recover. Really giving it more of an ability to be a bigger threat. Especially when you are running Leftovers over Life Orb.

Magnezone should really be running Sub over flash cannon imo. With this, when magnezone switches into a steel (most likely skarm or natt in today's meta), he can completely set up and then OHKO or 2HKO the steel.

And the DNite set is the common nice set, which I really have no complains or corrections about.

Hope this helped!

Wow thanks!!!

I took out Magius as I had some struggling issues with it.

I think Imma give Lead Metagross a shot, and replace my Aerodactyl. But I will teach it dragon claw in case for the future.

Thanks I'm putting Life Orb Gengar in. I was thinking of a Weavile but I think Gengar should fit fine.

Also will use the backup LO Roserade set I had, Gonna give it spikes and Choice Scarf.

Will also change up Starmies moves as recommended and will change Magnezone's moves.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Elite_Trainer_U I will see if I encounter any problems using Aerodactyl/Metagross, and I might switch him out for Infernape in the future :)

Thanks everyone! Will edit topic descriptions

This team likes spikes better, so drop sleep powder for HP Ice or Fire. Have you considered using a bulky Roserade to take on Starmie and Jolteon (this team has no good switch in for either) 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD would be a better spread, and you could also drop Sludge Bomb for Rest/Synthesis.

I would use Lum on Metagross and lead with Starmie. The two have really good lead synergy together, except with Starmie you can start out more offensively and match up better against more leads.

If you're going with Spikes Roserade, use a Calm nature and an EV spread of 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SDef for extra bulk. This should allow you a lot more opportunities to switch in and set up. I also recommend HP Ice > Sludge Bomb, as Poison has awful coverage in OU and HP Ice is useful for hitting opposing Dragonite. HP Fire isn't really necessary since Magnezone handles Steel-types so well. As others have stated, Spikes is also illegal with Sleep Powder, so you should use either a recovery move or Toxic Spikes instead of Sleep Powder.

Gengar's set is alright, although I think you should give SubSplit a try. The ability to stall out opponents with Substitute and attack with Ghost / Fighting coverage is really effective with entry hazard support. Toxic Spikes + SubSplit is especially useful against stall, so I would encourage you to test this change.

@Zapdos Oh I had no idea Spikes + Sleep was illegal.

Will remove sleep powder and give Roserade Synthesis. and redo the EVs

Thanks Chris and Faladan Gonna give subsplit gengar a go.

Will do on changing starmie as lead. Also I edited it's EVs so that it's 252 SP.ATK instead of HP.
Let me know if I should reverse it back
