Mamoswine (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
-Stone edge

Info: It is a nice lead that can kill most others with ease.

Azelf is easy since i could ice shard!
Metagross isn't a problem either, just SR when he does and then attack with EQ to KO
Aerodactyl likes to taunt me so i would just ice shard for 2HKO!
Infernape is slightly annoying since he does have a priority move but i should be able to KO since probably he will SR first, if i can't i will just use gyarados and set up
Swampert isn't too much of a problem most of the time, i could go into Zapdos or Gyarados to counter
Ninjask- np, just ice shard ftw!
Tyranitar- Um.... probably just EQ right off the bat, 2HKO is good :)

145.png

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Evs: 248 HP / 228 Def / 32 Spe
Bold (+SpD, -Atk)
-Hidden power grass 70
-Discharge
-Heat wave
-Roost

Info: Just a common defensive wall, works great to counter scizor, bulky grasses/waters, also works great for stall... I run HP grass since swamperts almost always switch into zapdos on a roost or something so yeah :)

130.png

Gyarados @ Life orb
Ability: Intimidate
Evs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Jolly (+Speed, -SpA)
-Dragon dance
-Stone edge
-Waterfall
-Bounce

Info: My physical sweeper, very nice to set up on weaker stall pokemon with high defenses, (should i use stone edge or ice fang?) Other moves are standard for my sweeper for coverage

380.png

Latias @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Evs: 128 HP / 128 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid (+Speed, -atk)
-Calm mind
-Surf
-Dragon pulse
-Recover

Info: This is mainly here to counter heatrans, especially scarfed ones that are locked onto earth power, i could be some serious setting up, this set also works to counter celebi pretty well, as the rest of my team has some trouble... i changed the 4th move from reflect to surf for more coverage

376.png

Metagross @ Expert Belt
Ability: Clear body
Evs: 252 Atk / 124 SpA / 132 Spe
Naughty (+Atk, -SpD)
-Hidden power fire
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Grass knot

Info: My best wall breaker right here, probably my late game sweeper when I knock out some fire pokemon out of the game with gyarados and latias first, this set is perfect for killing forretress, skarmory, swamperts, etc!

94.png

Gengar @ Choice scarf
Ability: Levitate
Evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid (+Speed, -Atk)
-Hidden power fire
-Thunderbolt
-Shadow ball
-Focus blast

Info: Pretty good as a sweeper, predict the switch into tyranitar or scizor and sub up, then use focus blast for killing while they break the sub, gyarados is easily killed by thunderbolt, and shadow ball gives nice STAB!

FINISHED, ALL CRITICISM IS WELCOME
PLEASE HELP

Defensive threats:

Blissey
– I have a good amount of hard-hitting physical attacks and Gengar's focus blast

Bronzong - Um, Metagross and Gengar should do the trick, if not i have zapdos as well...

Celebi - I have Latias, and if she has already fainted Metagross, zapdos, and gengar can counter Celebi quite well

Cresselia – Free latias set up folder, and i have gengar's shadow ball as back up

Donphan - Gyarados could take down a weakened one, Zapdos has Hidden power, and Metagross has grass knot

Forretress - HP fire metagross/gengar or Zapdos

Gliscor – Latias does well against it and I always have gengar to finish it off

Gyarados - Say hello to gengar's tbolt :)

Hippowdon - Hmm, metagross can 2HKO him while taking a EQ without too much trouble, and I have gyarados's waterfall and latias' surf as back up

Rotom - Probably this teams greatest weakness if it has sub... Probably switch to zapdos and break its sub (if it has it) and die and then bring in Gar to finish it

Skarmory
- HP fire FTW!

Snorlax - Meteor mash for massive damage and focus blast

Suicune - Um tbolt? and maybe grass knot

Swampert - Grass knot and gengar

Tentacruel
- Gyarados set up and metagross can EQ him

Tyranitar
- Gyarados will make a dent and mamo/gar will finish him

Vaporeon
- Grass Knot, thunderbolt, lots of stuff

Zapdos - Hm, Gyarados's/mamo's stone edge and latias could CM it up

Offensive Threats

Azelf - It can't beat a scarfgar :)

Breloom - Hm, it can't hurt gyarados or zapdos much but it is annoying

Dragonite - He's slow and gyardos can take him or latias

Dugtrio – Gengar or metagross

Electivire - Dangerous sorta but it can't possibly take on gar and gross

Empoleon - Gyarados, zapdos, metagross

Flygon - gyarados and zapdos does a nice job stopping it, gar is good revenge killer if needed

Gengar - i have scarfgar and if he is one too then i guess i will just predict my way around him with metagross

Gyarados - Zapdos and Latias

Heatran - Latias, gyarados, and gar

Heracross - Can't touch gyarados or zapdos

Infernape - Latias, gyarados, and zapdos are all fine counters

Jirachi - HP fire FTW

Jolteon - Metagross, zapdos, and gar can take him

Kingdra - Not much of a problem as Scarfgar outruns him even after +1 (i think)

Machamp - Gengar to negate dynamicpunch and then kill with whatever

Magnezone
- HP fire stuff and zapdos

Mamoswine - Gyarados and metagross can take him and latias

Metagross - HP fire stuff and heat wave makes him easy

Latias - scarfgar ftw and metagross as back up

Porygon-Z - Scarfgar can take it and metagross with latias

Rotom - Not too much of a problem since gar outspeeds it and mamo can take it town

Salamence - Hmm latias and mamo and gar can stop him

Scizor - Metagross and Gyarados

Starmie - Gar and metagross

Togekiss - Zapdos and gyarados

Tyranitar - Metagross and gar's focus blast

Weavile - He's fast but easily KO'd by metagross's mash

Yanmega - Gyarados.

Zapdos - Easy with gyarados's stone edge and then gar as revenge kill

=o Hey asiankid. Anyways I'll try my best to rate your team.

Mamoswine leads are very cool but have you ever thought about a Life Orb Mamoswine lead? It always OHKOs 252 HP Metagross and Shuca Berry Heatran. With the set you are using Metagross can live an Earthquake + Ice Shard. Most people wouldn't Meteor Mash because your lead is so predictable now. Here is the set.

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Jolly - Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Adamant Gyarados never outspeeds Timid Jolteon unless it has +2 Speed. If you want to outspeed it I suggest using Jolly but your team looks like it can take on Jolteon just fine.

Anyways your team is pretty weak to Gyarados if it gets 1 Dragon Dance and carries Waterfall/Stone Edge/Earthquake/Dragon Dance. Latias can take a hit but gets 2HKOed by Stone Edge and Gengar can Thunderbolt it if it tries to Dragon Dance or something. Zapdos isn't a counter to Gyarados anymore.

Possibly I could suggest a Rotom form over Zapdos? Although that gives your team 3 Pursuit weaks.

Rotom @ Leftovers
Bold - Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spe
- Discharge
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

This set works quite well. You can ditch the Speed EVs but it outspeeds Adamant Tyranitar and Scizor who run 252 Speed (Not that its really common) so you can Will-O-Wisp them before they hit you.

Not bad, I've always preferred Discharge on my bulky Zapdos spreads for the para chance. It really helps.

I think ScarfGar would help a lot too with the Gyarados weakness. A Speedy revenge killer is always fun to use.

All around good team though.

I don't think focus blast is that necessary on gengar since you have other ways to hit Metagross. Scizor can be a problem so you can run HP Fire or you can try a 100 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 156 SAtk spread and give him focus punch. With an expert belt, common switch-ins such as Blissey and Tyranitar are going to have a tough time against Gengar.

Note: Might want to add more description on Zapdos and Mamoswine to make it easier for raters to know why you're using them over other options.

Hm, i like the discharge idea, *changing*

Thanks for the rate, hmm, Gotcha, switched to adamant-dos

About the rotom, i like my zapdos better since the OU forms of rotom require ar to use on wifi iirc and i have no ar
thanks again for the rate

Focus blast is for blissey, i believe it can do about 45% to bliss so 2HKO with Stealth rocks

Um, the standard wish bliss takes very little damage from focus blast and can beat gengar through wish stalling and flamethrower.

Hmm, i see well changing the set will cause a gyarados weakness so i will just stick with this set and switch out from bliss into metagross or gyarados to counter bliss

Hello.

While Life Orb Gyarados is a very good sweeper, both late game and early game, it still suffers the same problem- speed. With 252 EVs and Adamant, Gyarados still fails to outspeed Jolly Choice Scarf Metagross, Jolteon, Aerodactyl, Modest Scarf Rotom H, and a slew of other pokemon before the Dragon Dance. A quick fix to this is to run a Jolly nature on Gyarados, who can then outspeed all of the above pokemon while not losing much power at all. Also, concerning your moveset, it is walled very badly by Celebi, as is the majority of your team, especially Thunder Wave Celebi, who can cripple Gengar/Latias/Metagross on the switch and bring in an apropriate counter, and Gengar and Latias in particular become Pursuit bait when Thunder Waved.

Gyarados (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Bounce

This also outspeeds +Spe Mamoswine by 1 point, who causes your team quite a lot of trouble in the hands of a smart player.

If Gyarados is causing you troubles and your relying as ScarfGar as your revenge killer (not a good idea seeing as unboosted LO Waterfall OHKOs) I think Scarf Rotom W would be a nice fit. It isn't Tyranitar Pursuit bait thanks to Hydro Pump and it can actually stand up to Scizors Bullet Punch without having to run Hidden Power [Fire] since Thunderbolt 2HKOs. Since you only have to fill 3 slots with moves, you can use Trick to aid in crippling stall teams. Trick will also help with your somewhat horrific CurseLax weakness and will easily cripple Blissey which will make it set up fodder for Gyarados or Latias or gives Metagross a free turn.

Rotom-w @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 40 Def/216 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Trick
- Shadow Ball
- Hydro Pump

Alternatively, if you don't need the speed, Sub Charge Beam Rotom and Will O Wisp / Reflect defensive Rotom are certainly feasible options.

Good luck!

Hm, i like the jolly gyarados idea really much, at first that was what i was considering too :)

Does Jolly gyarados miss any really important KOs though?

and with the rotom, isn't it illegal to use on wifi still?

It doesn't miss any KOs i can think of right now, it still OHKOs Starmie / Latias / Celebi with Stealth Rock down I believe.

And yes, Rotom-w is illegal on WiFi without a cheat code, so I guess ScarfGar will suffice
