Aerodactyl (M) @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
IVs: 30 Def
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Tailwind
Aerodactyl is pretty good at dishing out some pain. Depending on what has been sent out I will choose between attacking or stealth rocks. I try to use aerodactyl as my second or third pokemon to send out so i can clear out the opponents stealth rocks with zapdos then set my own. Rock slide is for the stab and the flinches that help out a lot and eq is for electric pokemon that bother my team. Tailwind to give my team more speed.
Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
Thundurus is normally my lead of choice. Its just wonderful with the prankster T-wave. and if that is useless i can get charge beam in boost my special attack and start dishing out some damage with hp ice focus blast and more charge beams. thundurus normally doesnt live long because of his lack of bulk and the life orb.
Honchkrow @ Life Orb
Ability: Moxie
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Sucker Punch
- Roost
- Superpower
Honchkrow is kind of new to me. I was screwing around one day with different pokemon to fill in this spot... next thing i know i completely sweep some guys team with honchkrow. brave bird is for a powerful stab tht hurts a ton. sucker punch is so i can outspeed and hit hard with stab. Super power to hit tyranitar and other dark steel or rock types hard and roost is to heal up from the bravebirds and life orbs. I now use tailwind on aerodactyl right before he dies so honchkrow outspeeds most... honchkrow with moxie can really put a hole in ur team if u underestimate him.
Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 244 SDef / 16 Spd
Calm Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Thunderbolt
- Roost
- Heat Wave
- Defog
Zapdos is pretty much my full on special defense wall. 16 speed to outspeed some threats to my team but other then that its pretty much a normal zapdos set. thunderbolt as stab, heat wave 4 excadrills and other pokemon like that. roost is so he lives a while and defog to clear rocks.
Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Moxie
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Bounce
- Waterfall
- Substitute
Gyarados will be my late game sweeper always. Ddance for obvious reasons, bounce for a stab flying move that can at the same time help with some leftovers recovery. waterfall as stab and the occasionaly lucky flinch. substitute is to block will o wisp toxic confuse t-wave and any other status moves. I run moxie over intimidate because of the fact hes a late game sweeper once he has +1 speed and outspeeds most of wats left of my opponents team the damage boost just makes him harder and harder to stop.
Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Def / 12 Spd
Impish Nature
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Protect
- Earthquake
Gliscor a staple on any flying team in my opionion. hes just the normal toxic stall set but can 2hko aegislash and charizard x. substitute and protect is for the toxic stall and more healing for gliscor. toxic is to start the toxic stall...(spoiler alert that was to get to three lines cause i dont know what more to say about him)
any tips r greatly appreciated in getting this team up to par. this is my gym team so it is for ou battles
