'Death Freeze'
Quick Glance :)
Quick Intro
This is my second OU Team as my first team (Sandstorm Team) wasnt as successful as I hoped. With this team, I recently entered the 2012 Spring Friendly.
The team took me to a rating of 1632 which not impressive, took me far higher than what my past one got me (lower than 1500).
At first, I won every match and after the first lost, the wins loses balanced until the last two days when I won most of my matches.
In total out of 34 battles, I was victorius 23-25 of the time.
Abomasnow @ Big Root
Ability:Snow Warning
EVs: 252HP / 172Def / 84SpD
Sassy Nature: +Sp.Def, -Speed
-Substitute
-Leech Seed
-Ice Shard
-Blizzard
Abomasnow, the hail summoner. After trying out tyranitar, I decided to try out a hail team which cannot be made without this guy. My strategy here is to Blizzard
anything that doesnt resist to cause major damage. When against something with little HP just Ice shard it. When against bulky pokemon like Dusclops, Blissey, or Reuniclus,
leech seed will do good amount of damage over time with the additional help of the big root aswell as healing alot of HP. then i would substitute to suck up more HP
and cause more damage. Thanks to its EVs and Sassy nature, Abomasnow can actually survive rock attacks as well as flamethrowers from physically inclined pokemon.
Rotom F @ Choice Scarf
Ability:Levitate
EVs: 252SpA / 4SpD / 252Speed
Modest Nature: +Sp.Atk, -Attack
-Shadow Ball
-Volt Switch
-Thunderbolt
-Blizzard
Cloyster @ Water Gem
Ability:Skill Link
EVs: 4HP/ 252Atk / 252Speed
Adamant Nature: +Attack, -Sp.Attack
-Shell Smash
-Razor Shell
-Rock Blast
-Icicle Spear
Espeon @ Psychic Gem
Ability:Magic Bounce
EVs: 4HP / 252SpA / 252 Speed
Timid Nature: +Speed, -Attack
-Calm Mind
-Shadow Ball
-Psyshock
-Psychic
Mandibuzz @ Rocky Helmet
Ability:Overcoat
EVs: 200HP / 56Atk / 200SpD / 52 Speed
Adamant Nature: +Attack, -Sp.Attack
-Roost
-Toxic
-Taunt
-Brave Bird
Mandibuzz is is my 'wall'. having good defensive and specialy defensive power, it can take hits pretty well and with toxic it can deal damage as well stall
out difficult to defeat foes. Taunt is used to stop opponents from raising its stats to the level where it can OK most of my team. Brave bird is there so that
mandibuzz cannot be taunted itself aswell as causing considerable damage thanks to STAB and a couple of Atk EVs.
Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability:Natural Cure
EVs: 252HP/ 252Def / 4Sp.A
Bold Nature: +Defense, -Attack
-Softboiled
-Toxic
-Counter
-Blizzard
I cannot express in words how good blissey has been to me xD. Having incredible Special defense and having a Bold nature and max Def and HP EVs it can take many hits with ease
and then wearing it off by using softboiled as well as the use of leftovers. Toxic stalls damage to those things that cant be that easily KOed. Due to its low defense, alot of pokemon will try using mach punch
or something offensive to knock out blissey but after blissey survives, blissey can use counter causing major damage and using softboiled to recover.
Blizzard uses blisseys decent special attack and takes advantage of blizzards 100% accuracy in hail.

Rotom...Rotom oh Rotom. I cannot count how many times I've heard/read about people saying how bad Rotom Frost is but i beg to differ. This guy has
saved me in SOO many occasions with its high speed and special attack. i would tie it with Blissey as my teams best choices. My usual lead, it can KO/2KO a lot of things
sent early in the battle. At the beginning, it Volt Switches anything that doesnt resist it for serious damage because thanks to its choice scarf,
it attacks first a lot of the time. Then i would switch Abomasnow in beginning the endless Hail. Thunderbolt causes alot of damage and has good coverage
meaning i have no need to switch out to change move. Blizzard is not only strong, but has 100% accuracy in Hail. Shadow ball is there when something resists thunderbolt/blizzard.

-Razor Shell
-Rock Blast
-Icicle Spear
Cloyster serves an easy roll. Survive anything you resist and knock out as many things as possible. When able to cause super effective damage,
rock blast or icicle spear, theres no need for shell smash. When required, razor shell is used to cause major damage from stab and water gem. When facing something
that cant KO cloyster do i then use Shell Smash to truely bring out his true Sweeper potential. With 252 Atk EVs and
Adamant nature, Cloyster can punch a hole through many teams especially after a shell smash.

-Psyshock
-Psychic
Espeon my second Special Sweeper. With a timid nature and max speed and sp atk EVs, espeon attacks fast and hard. After a calm mind or two,
Psychic, its main move, causes STAB damage as well as power from the psychic Gem. When against a special wall like blissey/chansey, psyshock replaces psychic
and causes alot of damage. Then when against ghost pokemon, Shadow Ball knocks them down. Magic Bounce
prevents pesky things like statuses as well as SR and spikes.
