Introduction

Hello and welcome to my first RMT. I started playing on PS back in 2015, I'm not much of a talker but I visit the forums from time to time and I had lots of fun with this team so I decided to share it and see what other people think about it. I almost reached 1700 ELO laddering with this and I feel I could've done it if I played more, unfortunantly I didn't have much time to play.

Teambuilding Process
excadrill.png

When I started building this team I didn't think of a specific mon to build the team around, I just wanted a HO team that destroys stall. So I started with the suicide lead and of course it was none other than Excadrill, I think it's the best suicide lead in the tier being able to set up rocks and rapid spin opposing hazards is great.

tapu-lele.png

Next I needed a wallbreaker so I went with my favorite Tapu, obviously I didn't choose him only because he was my favorite of the Tapus but his wallbreaking abilities and wide movepool is simply amazing, Lele's job is mainly to weaken the opposing team as much as possible with it's insane attacking power making it easier for the rest of the team to sweep/clean, also Lele's ability is huge help for the team negating priority moves which the team hates.

kartana.png

Moving on to the next slot, I put another wallbreaker/sweeper which is Kartana, this mon can do many things in this team depending on what I'm facing it can either wallbreak with it's great physical attack or if facing a slower team like stall or TR it can set up SD and start steamrolling with beast boost, it also has a decent physical bulk which is always a plus.

Now for the mega of this team I went with Charizard X, this mon's attack and ability are ridiculous, I imported this set from my gen 6 team which really impressed me back then. It also have a good synergy with Kartana since it can take on stuff like Celesteela, Skarmory, Magnezone etc... while Kartana takes care of TTar, Quag... so they cover each other pretty well.

You may have noticed this, but so far this team lacks speed control first I had LO protean Greninja and scarfed Kartana but that didn't work so well since I felt Gren lacked the power to pick up some important KOs and I hated being locked in a move with Kartana especially after getting a boost, and Ash Gren gave me lots of trouble.
This is when Keldeo comes in, with it's decent speed it's makes for a good scarfer. Keldeo's Job is usually to revenge kill or clean late game which it does pretty well thanks to both of it's stabs.

The last slot was the hardest one to fill. First I had specs Magnezone, it had a good synergy with Lele by removing steel types but it did nothing more than that and it was bad when I got locked in a tbolt after picking a KO and a ground mon comes in they can easily set up SD or rocks which really damaged my team so I changed it to substitute set but it still wasn't good enough it just traps steel types nothing more so I found myself rarely using it considering Zard can deal with steel types.
I dropped Magnezone for Ditto later to have better speed control this is back when I had LO Gren instead of Keldeo, Ditto didn't only provide with speed control but it was also my answer to set up mons like DD TTar or Dragonite and weather teams, It worked when I needed it but it had two problems: First I rarely used it because I rarely let the opposing team set up on me due to how fast and offensive my team was and a lot of times I face stall which makes it useless so I found myself using a team of 5 mons instead of 6. The second and the most important problem was Hawlucha, this mon is completely broken and since Ditto doesn't copy the unburden boost I had no answer for it. This is when I started to think about adding Zapdos but unlike the usual Zapdos sets this one is pretty offensive despite that it can still check Lucha, Pinsir and Kartana decently not to mention the ground immunity it adds to the team.

The Team

excadrill.gif

Excadrill @ Focus Sash
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Toxic
This is your basic suicide lead that most HO teams need. I think Excadrill is the best at this job it has a decent speed and the ability to set up rocks and spin the opposing hazards. Toxic is to damage mons like Lando T, Earthquake is it's best STAB and thanks to mold breaker I can hit levitate mons and set up rocks and toxic M-Sableye.
As for the EVs they are basic max speed and max attack with jolly nature to make sure it's the fastest it can be and finally focus sash is there to ensure it gets rocks up before fainting.
Problems for this lead are Skarm and fake out so if you're expecting a fake out make sure to go for Lele since getting rocks up is really important for this team.

tapulele.gif

Tapu Lele @ Psychium Z
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psyshock
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball / Hidden Power Fire
Lele is an amazing wallbreaker it does massive damage to the opposing teams thanks to it's great coverage. I went for Psychium Z set because shattered psyche under psychic terrain is just too good it usually OHKO's anything that doesn't resist it, I tried Fightinium Z but I found Psychium Z way better for wallbreaking, another advantage of using a Z-move on Lele is the ability to bluff a choice locked set and then use a one time nuke when none expects it. As for the move set I went for Psyshock over Psychic to be able to hit Chansey better and have a pseudo-mixed set although Psychic gets more damage from Psychium Z I still prefer Psyshock. Moonblast is Lele's second STAB it deal with dark types and physically defensive mons. Focus Blast is there for steel types despite it's low accuracy it's still the best option and it does decent damage against the likes of Heatran and Ferro. Finally I had HP fire in this slot but I found myself rarely using it and the damage wasn't that great either it does nothing to AV Magearna or Celesteela, depending on rolls it doesn't even 2HKO specially defensive Ferro it only works well against Scizor which can't threat Lele with Bullet Punch under psychic terrain so I dropped it for Shadow Ball after I struggled against Mew it also helps against Mega-Zam.
I went with timid over modest because I wanted it to be faster than offensive Lando and Excadrill and speed tie with Kyurem-B. EV's are for max speed and max special attack to maximize speed and power.
252 SpA Tapu Lele Shattered Psyche (160 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian in Psychic Terrain: 474-558 (124 - 146%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Leftovers recovery

kartana.gif

Kartana @ Life Orb
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword
- Smart Strike
Kartana can be either a sweeper or a wallbreaker depending on the matchup it usually does well in both roles, LO might seem a bit strange but it's really good on Kartana the recoil is troublesome but it's totally worth the extra power. I changed it with a scarf but I felt like it missed some important KOs I also don't like being choice locked with Kartana since it can steamroll slower teams thanks to it's great coverage.
SD is there to set up against stall, Leaf Blade is the best STAB, Sacred Sword is for coverage especially against Heatran and Ferro and finally I went for Smart Strike over Knock Off to deal with Bulu and Clef. EV's are pretty standard for max speed and attack coupled with jolly nature to get the max speed possible.
252 Atk Life Orb Kartana Smart Strike vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Tapu Bulu: 338-400 (98.5 - 116.6%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Grassy Terrain recovery

charizard-megax.gif

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 96 HP / 252 Atk / 160 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
Mega Zard X is a great setup sweeper having a great attack coupled with tough claws is unstoppable. Zard's role is to setup and start tearing holes against the opposing team it also helps Lele deal with steel types like Ferro and Celesteela and it helps dealing with Zapdos that gives Kartana trouble. Moveset is pretty standard, DD to setup when having a chance, Flare Blitz is the strongest attack it does massive damage after a boost even to mons that resist it the recoil is too much but it's worth the damage and with the help of Roost you can stay healthy I picked Roost over EQ for longevity especially with this Zard being a bit more bulky than the usual ones and finally Dragon Claw is the most spammable move after setting up.
I picked the EVs spread from my gen 6 team which I picked from Smogon back then, it makes Zard more bulky so it can take some hits better, the speed EVs makes it outspeed every unboosted mon in the tier after one DD, and max attack with Adamant nature to maximize the damage done to the opposing team.
+1 252+ Atk Tough Claws Charizard-Mega-X Flare Blitz vs. 248 HP / 240+ Def Zapdos: 339-400 (88.5 - 104.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Charizard-Mega-X Dragon Claw vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 177-209 (45.8 - 54.1%) -- 96.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+1 252+ Atk Tough Claws Charizard-Mega-X Flare Blitz vs. 244 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 556-655 (79.2 - 93.3%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
0 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 96 HP / 0 SpD Charizard-Mega-X: 142-168 (44.2 - 52.3%) -- 16.4% chance to 2HKO

keldeo.gif

Keldeo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
- Scald
Keldeo is the team's late game cleaner and revenge killer and it's the team's response to Ash-Greninja it can't take 2 Hydro Pumps but it can take 3 Dark Pulses so that's helpful, it also helps against Koko and Mega Zam if they took some prior chip damage otherwise Mega Zam can give this team a lot of trouble. Keldeo can also force switches a lot especially against Heatran, Lando and Ash-Gren so try to make the correct double switch prediction to gain momentum easily. Now for the set it's pretty standard both STABs Hydro Pump for max damage and Secret Sword to hit special walls like Chansey, Ferro etc... Scald is there to secure some KOs without worrying about the accuracy and finally I choose Icy Wind to hit mons that have 4 weakness to ice like Zygarde, Chomp, Gliscor... and more importantly the speed drop helps alot against setup mons like DD Gyara, Zygarde, Dnite... making it easier to revenge kill them.
EVs are pretty standard max speed and max special attack with timid nature for max speed and max power.

zapdos.gif

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Static
EVs: 148 HP / 252 SpA / 108 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass] / Hidden Power [Ice]
- Agility
- Heat Wave
The last mon in this team is non other than the lightning bird Zapdos, after struggling to fill the last spot Zapdos seems to be the best choice here it has many things to do first it's my answer to Hawlucha which otherwise sweeps my team, if you see Hawlucha on the opposing team Zapdos must stay healthy at all cost it can't take 2 boosted HJKs from Hawlucha so it should come in after a mon faints. Zapdos is also my answer to non Knock Off scarf Kartana and Mega-Pinsir. It can also eases the rain matchup by threatening Pelipper and Mega-Pert with HP grass.
Now about the set it might seem a little strange but I wanted all my team to be offensive I didn't want to use a defensive Zapdos and with it having a good base special attack I went for modest nature with max EVs investment to maximize it's damage and make it more of an offensive threat Thunderbolt is the go to STAB, Heat Wave deals with Kartana and Ferro, I used to have HP Ice instead of HP Grass but after struggling against Mega-Pert I decided to change it to Grass since I had Keldeo to deal with Lando and Zygarde I didn't have much time to test HP grass yet since I changed it recently but if it didn't work well I'll change it back, and finally agility with 108 speed EVs is to outspeed scarfed Gengar and Lati and anything slower it works well against rain teams, agility used to work better back when I had life orb instead of lefties, I put leftovers instead of LO to give it some recovery instead of power but it still hits hard. And finally static was chosen over pressure because of the chance to get the enemy paralyzed.
Overall offensive Zapdos with agility + 3 attacks worked well for me and it's always unexpected.
+2 252 Atk Kartana Leaf Blade vs. 148 HP / 0 Def Zapdos: 216-255 (60.3 - 71.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Atk Aerilate Pinsir-Mega Return vs. 148 HP / 0 Def Zapdos: 259-306 (72.3 - 85.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Pinsir-Mega: 344-408 (126.9 - 150.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Hawlucha High Jump Kick vs. 148 HP / 0 Def Zapdos: 210-248 (58.6 - 69.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. +1 152 HP / 8 SpD Hawlucha: 302-356 (90.1 - 106.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex: 176-210 (58 - 69.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery
252+ SpA Zapdos Hidden Power Grass vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Swampert-Mega: 260-308 (76.2 - 90.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Zapdos Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 228+ SpD Assault Vest Tangrowth: 166-196 (41 - 48.5%) -- 74.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Zapdos Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Ferrothorn: 296-352 (84 - 100%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Conclusion
Playing this has been a lot of fun for me, it requires heavy prediction which made me a better player overall. Obviously it's not perfect but I wanted to share it nonetheless hopefully you enjoy playing it as well. And of course criticism and suggestions are always welcome.
Also sorry if there was any mistakes with my English or any mistake in the format of this RMT thread.

Rain teams give this team a lot of trouble especially with specs Kingdra but it's still doable with good predictions.
Mega-Zam can also be a nuisance but it's manageable.
Scarf Koko can also be troublesome sometimes.
4 attacks Mega-Mawile is also troublesome since nothing can take a hit from it.

The problem in your team I notice more in the objects, I will solve this.

The most viable thing for an HO with Lele is Tapu Lele Specs, a brutal damage, OHKO gives almost everything, it's incredible.

Zapdos if you want it offensive, turn it into Life Orb, it has more damage and is more viable and finally Kartana Z, is much better than Life Orb, because the Z as we all know does not leave recoil.

http://pokepast.es/e65dd9be842ce78a

I hope you like it c:

I forget add Roost in Zapdos, Roost serves to recover the damage left by the recoil of life orb, but if you want to leave him HP-Grass, is your team
