Mr. Wiggles (Sylveon) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Hyper Beam
-Toxic
- Hidden Power [Ground]
Sylveon, “Mr. Wiggles”: The best Fairy-type pokemon in my opinion, but not for the reasons you might think. It’s a Taunt magnet, a Trick magnet, a Will-o-wisp magnet, a wallbreaker, and a suicide lead. Yep. That’s right. “Suicide”. A quick how-to on how to use my Mr. Wiggles: Move mouse cursor over the Hyper Voice button. (Don’t forget. Hyper Voice bypasses Substitute, hence the wallbreaking capabilities of Mr. Wiggles.) Watch everything that doesn’t resist it get trucked and many things that do resist take 40-60%. Repeat. So, on to the technical stuff. Moveset: Ignore everything, use Hyper Voice. There, I said it. Max HP, max SPA. HP is maxed so I can tank a couple of neutral special attacks. Plus, Sylveon isn’t gonna run any marathons with its speed stat, so why not bulk up? Sp. Atk, obvs. You’ve got a 349 Sp. Atk getting pumped up. 1.3x, then 1.5x, then ANOTHER 1.5x. (Pixilate, STAB from Pixilate, Specs). Gotta love this lead; It’s just never expected.

Pincer (Pinsir) @ Pinsirite
Ability: Moxie
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack
- Return
- Earthquake
Pinsir, “Typo”: My Mega, and my favourite OU Mega in terms of raw attack power in the entire generation. Aerilate is the reason why. Quick Attack suddenly becomes ridiculous and Return becomes a good kick to the enemy Poke’s faces. In my opinion, despite compounding this team’s weakness to Stealth Rock and Ice Shard, Typo’s huge sweeping potential is just too awesome. Typo’s also got (surprisingly) decent coverage in the form of Earthquake. How a flying beetle can cause an Earthquake is beyond me, but I’m not complaining! Plus, there’s the teensy little fact that if I sneak in a Swords Dance, it’s pretty much gg, wp. Max ATK, max Speed, standard physical sweeper EVs. I don’t think I need to explain how to use this dude’s moves. Just spam Return and Quick Attack whenever necessary, and Earthquake for Fire- and Steel-types.

Bob (Latios) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Defog
Latios, “Bob”: My Defogger. Yup, I’ve got a Latios as a Defogger. Now, I’ve my reasons. One, three of my pokes are terrible with SR: Pinsir, Talonflame, Dragonite. Sylveon doesn’t like ‘em much either. However, I needed the following requirements for my anti-hazard poke: Fast, a special attacker, and it has to have Defog, not Rapid Spin. Latios was my answer. Though I’m not too happy with three Dragons, at least Latios acts as my perfect Ferrothorn counter, a big threat to this team. So, moveset. Psyshock and Draco Meteor. Both are for STAB. I’ve debated between Draco Meteor and Dragon Pulse. Feedback, pl0x? Next is HP Fire. Anti-Ferrothorn, anti-Steel. Easy. Last, Defog. Life Orb for Latios, so it can still create an offensive presence. My EV spread also helps this offensive presence as well. Yeah, that’s just about it. Oh, and stay away from Ice and Fairy. :P

Ice Shard Me (Garchomp) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fire Fang
Garchomp, “Ice Shard Me”: Revenge killer numero uno. Ahh, the famous Scarfed Garchomp. A classic. Blistering speed, outsped only by a Scarfed Latios. This thing eats nearly anything that has no resistance to it for breakfast. No much to say about this dude. Moveset, Outrage for revenging. Edgequake, for another good STAB and coverage. Fire Fang is my fourth move choice. Why? I dunno. Coverage? XD So, EVs are spread with max ATK, and max speed, with a Jolly nature, so I get fewer speed ties. Not too much to say ‘bout the Land Shark.

Fatass (Dragonite) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 108 HP / 252 Atk / 148 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Extreme Speed
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch
Dragonite, “Fatass”: Now, with all those Dragons and Pinsir running amok, one would think that Ice is a problem, correct? Yes, yes it is. This is where this big boy comes in. I bait an Ice Beam or a Fairy attack, and multiscale halves it while Weakness Policy doubles this dude’s attack. Suddenly, ExtremeSpeed becomes very scary indeed. Ideally, I don’t switch INTO an Ice/Fairy attack, since that cuts part of D’nite’s capabilities. If I can cleanly switch in Fatass, I have the option of using Dragon Dance, so I can get a total of 2.5x Atk, and a nice speed boost as well. Moveset: Dragon Claw, good STAB. ExtremeSpeed, awesome move, scary with that aforementioned 2.5x boost. Dragon Dance, I’ve explained already. Fire Punch, to take out Steels. I use max ATK, of course, to maximize Weakness Policy. I also boost HP quite a bit, to survive heavier attacks, even if Multiscale activates. (Greninja can sometimes blast Fatass, Multiscale or no Multiscale. Be warned.) Lastly, a bit of speed so Dragon Dance does something. (I don’t feel sorry for naming this guy Fatass, btw.)

Luftwaffe (Talonflame) @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
Talonflame, “Luftwaffe”: It’s a bird! Why, yes, it is a bird. A bird with one of the best Abilites in the game! Not only that, it packs in a crushing Stealth Rock weakness! I digress. Talonflame is my second revenge killer. However, it often goes a bit beyond that. After ‘venging, it goes on to clean up another one or two pokes, often in an OHKO, or 2HKO. Bird truly is the word. After much experimentation, I now frown upon the Acrobatics builds. My reasoning? Look at Luftwaffe. Look at him. Look at those paltry defenses. You think he’s gonna take more than two hits? I think not. So, recoil is not a problem. In fact, along with Choice Band, I trade off a teensy bit of longevity for a hella lot more punching power. So, the moveset. Brave Bird, Flare Blitz, U-turn. No fourth move, kinda similar to Sylveon’s situation. These two pokes really only need one move, Brave Bird in Talonflame’s case. Onto the EVs. Maxed ATK, maxed speed. Max speed to prevent speed ties (SO MANY TIMES has my Talonflame taken out another of its own brethren). So yeah! That’s it.
I didn't pay too much attention to Threats to the team, but I do know Gliscor can get outta hand if both Sylveon and Latios fall. Ferrothorn. Never let it set up a minefield. Rotom-W is a bit of a problem as well, but Sylveon can usually deal with it. (But it's often dead already, soooo...) Lastly, a very defensive team will usually kick this team's ass. Quagsire is a massive wall, for example.
Criticism is appreciated!
