From the lands of Untiered, this humble bug manages to find a home sweet home all the way in OU! Leavanny has recently carved a very tiny (much like itself) niche in the metagame as sun teams' own Sticky Web setter, giving the archetype's usual wallbreakers like Walking Wake and Great Tusk more freedom for offensive Protosynthesis boosts while also letting more niche choices like Ceruledge to truly shine, as they can now get the jump on otherwise troublesome faces like Iron Valiant, Zamazenta, and Darkrai. By zooming past the entire unboosted metagame and everything up to +1 Iron Valiant thanks to Chlorophyll, Leavanny can make use of its surprising offensive movepool to still keep up the pressure after setting the entry hazard. Its Leaf Storm dispatches Great Tusk to prevent its Rapid Spin and, when paired with Eject Pack, provides valuable momentum and positioning for an archetype that desperately needs to maximize each turn. This is further supported by its coverage in Low Kick and Triple Axel, letting it handle staples such as Kingambit, Kyurem, Dragapult, and Dragonite. Tera Ghost helps spinblock Iron Treads and Terastallized Great Tusk while doing double duty in avoiding Dragonite's Chlorophyll-ignoring Extreme Speed.

From the lands of Untiered, this humble bug manages to find a home sweet home all the way in OU! Leavanny has recently carved a very tiny (much like itself) niche in the metagame as sun team's own Sticky Web setter, giving the archetype's usual wallbreakers like Walking Wake and Roaring Moon more freedom for attacking Protosynthesis attack boosts while also letting nicher choices like Ceruledge to truly shine, as they can now get the jump on otherwise troublesome faces like Darkrai, Zamazenta I'd imagine the Zamazenta MU isn't that bad, Ceruledge can actually win the 1v1 against BP due to Bitter + sun healing, and Iron Valiant. By zooming past the entire unboosted metagame and everything up to +1 Roaring Moon itself thanks to Chlorophyll, Leavanny can make use of its surprising offensive movepool to still keep up the pressure afterwards. Its Leaf Storm dispatches off Great Tusk from spinning freely Great Tusk to block its Rapid Spin dispatches off sounds kinda weird and, when paired with Eject Pack, provides valuable momentum and positioning for an archetype that desperately needs to maximize each turn. This is further supported by its coverage in Low Kick and Triple Axel, letting it handle tier staples such as Kingambit, Kyurem, Roaring Moon, and Dragonite, with Tera Ghost avoiding its Chlorophyll-ignoring Extreme Speed and doing double duty espeed does less than half so imo its not really a relevant threat to handily spinblock Iron Treads and Terastallized Great Tusk as well.

From the lands of Untiered, Is this a proper noun? I genuinely have no idea; if you are treating it as one this is fine to leave as-is but wanted to flag this humble bug manages to find a home sweet home all the way in OU! Leavanny has recently carved a very tiny (much like itself) niche in the metagame as sun team's teams' own Sticky Web setter, giving the archetype's usual wallbreakers like Walking Wake and Roaring Moon more freedom for attacking offensive "attacking" doesn't work too well in this context Protosynthesis boosts while also letting nicher more niche choices like Ceruledge to truly shine, as they when you say "they" do you mean ww + moon + ceruledge? or just ceruledge? if the latter, use "it" instead can now get the jump on otherwise troublesome faces like Iron Valiant, Zamazenta, and Darkrai. By zooming past the entire unboosted metagame and everything up to +1 Roaring Moon itself redundant thanks to Chlorophyll, Leavanny can make use of its surprising offensive movepool to still keep up the pressure afterwards. after what? specify Its Leaf Storm dispatches Great Tusk to prevent its Rapid Spin and, when paired with Eject Pack, provides valuable momentum and positioning for an archetype that desperately needs to maximize each turn. This is further supported by its coverage in Low Kick and Triple Axel, letting it handle tier also redundant staples such as Kingambit, Kyurem, Roaring Moon, and Dragonite (RC). (AP) with Tera Ghost to help helps the tera idea is entirely separate from the prior phrase so I think two sentences is better spinblock Iron Treads and Terastallized Great Tusk while doing double duty in avoiding Dragonite's Chlorophyll-ignoring Extreme Speed.
