[OU] Marowak Team

Hi, I am a big Marowak fan since gen 1 and I started playing competitively not too long ago and right off the bat I made a BP Marowak team and had absolutely zero luck lol. Since then I have been getting used to this style of play and after alot of trial and error battles I've put together a team that wins maybe 65% of the time. I know I can't win everytime, but I would like to make my team the best it can so i am open to any ideas (except switching out Marowak because i obviously want a team that revolves around him lol)

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic Spikes
- U-turn

So to start off I use Smeargle as my lead pokemon 99% of the time unless I can see a reason to instantly use Ninjask and start the BP going. I'll do the usuall (very annoying) spore right off the bat and then set up my SR and spikes. I don't really use Smeargle mid-late game because he usually dies early off, but if I'm am lucky enough to where I have him mid-game I abuse the shit out of spore :D annoying right? lol

Ninjask @ Liechi Berry
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- X-Scissor

Nothing to say too much about Ninjask becasue I use him for obvious reasons....if you don't know what that is, it is to BP Speed to Marowak. I also gave Ninjask the Liechi berry so when I do BP to Marowak I have some extra Att. if I can't pull off a SD. Then X-Scissor for the basic STAB

Gengar @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Focus Blast

And now for the very scary, Gengar. I use Gengar as my second main source of damage if I haven't K'od the main threats to Marowak yet or to just finish the game after my Marowak has been K'od. His moves cover a very wide range of weaknesses and Life Orb for the extra power. Focus Blast will kill a Full HP Tyranitar. HD Fire is to counter the steel types that I found gave Gengar alot of trouble. Shadow ball for my basic STAB and Thunderbolt for those pesky Gyarados'/Suicune

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 126 Def / 52 SAtk / 80 SDef
Bold Nature
IVs: 27 Spd
- Protect
- Surf
- Toxic
- Wish

Everyone knows the basic Wish/Protect Vaporean build so I'm not going to go into too much detail about that. I basically Toxic and then Wish/Protect stall and use Surf as my basic STAB

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Explosion

Heatran is my revenge killer, and I found out that he does a very good job at filling his role. Other than that I use him to clean up end-game or kill off the theats to Marowak. He can also take the grass hits that hurt Vaporean and Marowak alot.

Marowak @ Thick Club
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Double-Edge
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch

Lastly I have the main member of my team, Marowak. After he gets his speed boost from Ninjask he can OHKO almost everything! If I am lucky enough to put up a SD behind a sub from Ninjask (which is usually rare :/) he is basically unstopable with 3.5x Att. stat.

With all that said, thank you in advance for all of your suggestions, they are greatly appriciated :D

Hey man! I see that your team has very weaknesses to every priority attacker.

The problem:

Scizor

All baton pass teams are difficult to use.
They are really weak to priority moves such as bullet punch on scizor, your Ninjask can't do anything against it (no matter how much speed it has, scizor's bullet punch will always go first). Also, most of your pokemons are too frail, each one of them are OHKO'ed or 2HKO'ed by bullet punch. Only Vaporeon and Heatran can handle this issue.

But, Scizor pairs really nice with Rotom-W (VolTurn technique), and both your Vapy and Heatran are weak to Rotom's stab: Water and Electric.
Doesn't matter how much speed you have passed to your Marowak, an scarfed Rotom-W can revenge kill him with no problems.

The Solution:

I know, that i can't suggest you to change the whole team purpose, but the only way that i found to get rid of those problems is to use a trick room team :(

I think i didn't help you a lot, but i did what i could, hope your team will get better

@LilOuOn yeah, Scizor gives me problems 100% of the time :/ I'm starting a trick room team but I'm not having too much success either. But when I have a pretty sturdy trick room team, I'll post it and hopefully you or someone else can help with the fine tuning. thanks for the help though :)
