This is my Second Gen 6 Team. I was looking at Mega Aggron and liked what I saw. Ive always wanted to use Aggron on a team, but I just never got around to it, Until now. I pretty well got all the movesets off Smogon.
Galvantula @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunder
- Sticky Web
This is my lead. Ive never, EVER used Galvantula last gen. I liked it, but it just didn't have anything going for it that worked. But with Gen 6 came Sticky Web, and my team likes Sticky Web. I really didnt change anything from what was recommended on the site. I like the fact that he has one job and one job only, Set up Sticky Web. Anything after that is bonus.
Trevenant @ Lum Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 Spd
Impish Nature
- Horn Leech
- Will-O-Wisp
- Earthquake
- Rest
I really like Trevenant's typing. His main purpose is to block Spinners, and take Ferrothorn's Leech seeds. I went with Lum Berry over a Sitrus berry as he gets enough Heal from Horn leech and Rest. Ive been noticing he really doesn't get much action, except maybe letting off a few Will-O-Wisps (which have come in handy a few times). I think if there was a Pokemon on this team to replace, this may be the one that could be replaced.
Florges (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Protect
I decided my Team needed a Cleric. Ive never used a cleric before now. Florges had everything I was looking for, heal and status removal, which it does rather well in my opinion.
Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Shadow Claw
This team needs a Spinner, and from reading other threads, I decided on Excadrill. I like the fact its a more offensive spinner, and can take out spin blockers with shadow Claw. I went with the Gen 5 Set, as I couldn't really find a Gen 6 set. Im not sure if I should put Rock-slide on this guy, for I find I have trouble with TalonFlame.
Talonflame @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost
- Swords Dance
This is my revenge killer. I went with a Sharp Beak over Life orb, mainly cause I think he would suffer to much Recoil. He is very effective and can pretty much hit everything rather hard, with or without a sword dance.
Aggron @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 240 SDef / 16 Def
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Thunder Wave
- Earthquake
This is my main guy, and why I built this team. I really like his bulk and this moveset. T-Wave with Sticky Web is awesome. Ive opted for Iron Head over Heavy Slam, mainly for more consistant damage. I find that this guy hits very hard, and can take out pretty much anything that doesnt resist it. The only downside is that he doesnt really have a reliable source of recovery outside of Florgres.
The biggest Problem to this team that Ive found, is that opposing TalonFlame's cause me a lot of headaches. I think my best solution to this problem, without having to change my team up to much, is to give Excadrill Rock Slide, but im not sure if thats really my BEST option.
I welcome and thank you for your input.
